I’m in tears after watching the end of this one. Your message to those who have lost a loved one hit home so hard. I just lost my Mom in April, still reeling from it. She was my absolute best friend. And you walking around that resort, it being called the Sequoyah and mentioning Yosemite. Mom and I travelled to California in 2021 and visited those exact two places as well as Bodega Bay. It was to be her last adventure and she said it was the best of her life. Thank you for flooding me with precious memories of that special trip. I pray y’all have a wonderful stay in Paris and safe travels on. 💕
So sorry that your mum passed away, what a comfort it must have been to hear the names of places that meant so much to her and mean so much to you. I like to think of theme as signs from loved ones when things like that happen. My Papa passed on 3 weeks after our first son was born and then my Mama passed on just under 5 months after that. I remember watching the tv late one night whilst the little one was sleeping, just months old and ‘Ave Maria’ came on the program. It was one of my Mama’s favourite songs and has a lot of meaning and memories behind it. It was a program that I wouldn’t have imagined the song being played but I started balling my eyes out and at the same time feeling grateful for the moment. Much strength to you and yours and may your memories bring you much comfort. x
Most people in the Uk don't tend to do a specific "tea time" anymore but at work a lot of workplaces will have afternoon tea break and older generation would share between staff who makes a cafe for other staff members. There is still some places that offer a "High tea" which is a tier of cakes, sandwiches and tea/coffee although thats increasingly less popular. Across Europe there is different forms of "tea time" like in Sweden there is something known as "Fika" which has lots of traditions around particular biscuits (cookies to you). Fika is still practised and is most known for cinnanon or cardamon buns and coffee. In France there is a social equivalent to "tea time" called "Goûter" where families/friend will their favourite pastry or sometimes cake from the bakery and have it with coffee/tea at home.
I was lucky enough to go to Disney Paris with my son and his now wife the day after he proposed to her on the Eiffel Tower! Had a wonderful time and will never forget it. I will have to say I still love Disneyland and Walt Disney World more. Really enjoy your videos and your messages to hurting people. Keep up the good work!
I'm in the UK, and it's not as much of a thing now. But some generations still do. I often have a cup of tea and biscuit (cookie) in the afternoon when working to get a little more caffeine. Actual afternoon tea (which is similar) is more of an event now than an everyday thing. I'd be happy to do either with you both. There are lots of fun afternoon tea places in three UK you should check out. Happy to help.
Such a great video! I was lucky to have visited Disney Paris 5 yrs ago. I definitely agree with you that Big Thunder Paris is the BEST. Sadly, Phantom Manor was closed when I was there. The outside reminded me of the Psycho house at Universal. It was fun to see your video of the inside. I LOVED that Phantom Manor sweater ! The Paris castle is so beautiful. ❤ Looking forward to your next video. 😊
First of all yes, I love tea time it was passed down to me from my grandmother and I inherited her English tea cart..I loved having tea with my kids when they were younger..It gave us a chance to talk and catch up, just like traditional dinner time...My daughter lives a state away and we still do tea time when we visit each other...❤
Afternoon tea in France is totally different to afternoon tea in England where you will get tea to drink, finger sandwiches, scones with cream & jam and lovely dainty little cakes or pastries. When you go to London try and book an afternoon tea somewhere. The Shard do a fantastic Peter Pan afternoon tea but you probably won’t be able to get in at short notice. Please try to book somewhere though. Loving your world tour! Take care xx
❤❤❤❤❤❤ So Much Fun. I Love Yall and Very Much Enjoy Going With You on Your Adventures. Thank You You Are Amazing. Cant Wait For More Videos. Thank You So Much.😊😊😊😊😊
Enjoy your videos with your family. I really appreciate your message you give everytime of encouragement. I recently lost my husband and my son moved a good distance away. My daughter and I are adjusting to a new home and a new life. Its been challenging but were making it day by day. God Bless you and your family.
I’m born and raised in LA (36 years old) but my mother is from England. Tea time isn’t really an everyday thing anymore. They drink tea throughout the day but a real tea time with cakes and sandwiches is more of a celebratory thing nowadays. At the very most it would be every Sunday. My personal favorites are the cream cheese and cucumber sandwich with dill, coronation chicken sandwich, and Victorian sponge. I’d love to attend or even HOST a tea time with/for you!!!
We rarely have ‘afternoon tea’ here in Scotland- maybe for a birthday or out with the girls. We’ll say tea break in the afternoon though, rather than coffee break 😂. But if you’re near Edinburgh we’ll make the exception to have ‘tea time with Amanda’! Sandwiches first though, there are rules to follow 😂😂😂
I love how happy you all look as soon as you enter one of the Disneylands. You just look like you're so happy to be home. Thanks for another great video and for taking us on the rides with you and also thanks for your kind and supportive messages. I hope you have a great rest of your visit.
I love watching your videos. My son turned 20 in July so seeing Miles happiness and excitement in the videos makes me smile. Thanks for all the info. Scared to do a solo trip but as time progresses it seems to be my future.
I felt like I was on Thunder Mountain with you guys! What an amazing experience - so happy you and the family got to do this. Thanks for taking us all along for the ride!
Teatime with Amanda (and Gelatoni!) would be awesome! We're in the UK and I do love an afternoon tea - a cup of tea plus a little sandwich or other nibble! - in the afternoon and I know I'm not alone in this! Plus, going out for a proper 'afternoon tea' is very definitely a 'special occasion' thing you can book to do here in the UK where you have tea, coffee, small sandwiches, cakes and scones/cream/jam (similar sized stuff to the one in your video!) and it is very popular and one of my absolutely favourite things to do! Great video guys and great to see our 'local' Disney getting some love 🥰🥪🍨🍩🍪🎂🍰🧁🥧🍬☕🫖
One of the best details in DLP is when you ride Big Thunder Mountain, on the right turn right before the final lift hill you can see a drawing of the Thunder Bird! Placed there by the native Americans to scare the miners away. Such a cool detail that connects Phantom Manor and Big Thunder Mountain even more!
As a former Cast member. Truly appreciate you enjoyed your stay at DLP. The Dragon in the lair has been in operation like this 1992. Well most the of the Lands. Cool fact, this is not the Dragon from Sleeping Beauty but this is one from the European Folklore.
If you enjoyed the tea time, you will have to go for afternoon tea when you are in England! It's not really an every day thing anymore, but I think rich people used to do it every day in their manor houses. These days you can go to many hotels and fancy cafes for afternoon tea, which consists of sandwiches, cakes, scones and, of course, tea!
DLP is our home park and always stay at the Sequoia Lodge, it’s especially great at Christmas time! And as for Tea Time, nope.. not every day, but an afternoon tea (teas, mini pastries, scones etc) is a thing and rather nice. Next time you are in London try Afternoon Tea at Claridge’s - it’s amazing and very relaxed…
Hi Amanda, Chris and Miles :) You guys are AMAZING! Disneyland Paris ( EuroDisney) will always be my favorite Disney park. I was there 9 days after the park opened. Disney outdid themselves when they designed it. I am loving your world tour. You have really made me feel like I am with you.
You got it all right Chris. The most Popular land is actually Frontierland cuz one of the best and iconic ride is located there which is Big Thunder (according to feedbacks, it's in fact the Fastest and Wildest one in all Disney Park) Along with Phantom Manor (the only Haunted Mansion that looks scary and dilapitaded on the outside)
Wow, I can see why you like the Sequoia Hotel grounds are so serene and calming...reminds me of the pacific northwest (my backyard essentially) I'd feel so happy there! I really want to put Disneyland Paris on my bucket list! I think I want to go there more than I want to go to Walt Disney World. It's a tall order but maybe we can combine it with our trip to Ireland/Scotland...you know when we get rich someday. Ireland/Scotland are on our bucket list...really it's the only big trip on our bucket list with WDW being a more attainable bucket list second place option. Both my husband and I come from Ireland/Scotland ancestrally. I would love to find long lost cousins before we go, if we go. Disneyland Paris is dreamy!
My family have been enjoying your tour so much. DLP is our home park and we love it, hopefully our flight won’t be cancelled and we’ll be there in just over a week. We’re booked into a Golden Forest Sequoia Lodge room and love it there. It’s so homely. We do like the Newport Bay too and have stayed in a compass club room. I personally think the Newport rooms are more currently better than the Sequoia Lodge rooms just because they were renovated more recently than Sequoia but we still love the cosiness of the Sequoia Lodge, especially during the autumn and winter months. Their cosy lounge with the fires is perfection, especially whilst sipping on one of their speciality hot chocolates. The afternoon tea (and breakfast) offering at the Compass Club Lounge at Newport is slightly more refined and has more options than Sequoia’s but then it’s more expensive too. As a family with 2 kids under 10, the Sequoia is great as the theming is more storybook and you don’t feel out of place with 2 young kids and all that entails 😄 It’s also just that bit closer to the Village which, during winter, is great as it can get very cold! I wonder if we’ll see you enjoy a croque monsieur 😋
Miles knows his rides. BTM is such a better ride than Hyperspace Mountain. Great to see you guys enjoying our home from home. Next time check the license plate of the corvette at Annette's. And when going to the Studio's check out the license plate of the big truck when walking from HTH towards Toy Story land. We wish you a great time and safe travels. Greetings from 2 big fans from the Netherlands.
Many years ago we stayed at the Disneyland hotel. We left the window open and could hear the ticking of the it’s a small world clock all night line. We also heard them rehearsing for a show. We had a great time
Bless you the hotel Cheyenne is the wild west town, Santa Fe is the cars theme, which was a Mexican theme when we stayed in Euro Disney, 1992. Upper class might do teatime, but us working class have dinner at lunchtime, teatime would be dinner time meal, and late evening is supper time, we have cups of tea anytime. Lovely informative vlogg.
Tea Time with Amanda. My mom and I have tea everyday after work at about 5:30pm. We have tea and a snack usually a chocolate biscuit for me. We live in Tucson, Az. We also used to have a Christmas Tea for our friends every year with the fancy tea cups, tea sandwiches, scones with Devonshire cream and sweets.
Teatime with Amanda 💕 I’m from England and I love afternoon tea but it is definitely not a regular thing, maybe just a cuppa and a biccie but that’s about it. Tokyo is my favourite Disney but DLP is my local and I definitely rate HyperSpace Mountain and Big Thunder. My favourite thing is to wave at people from the ride. Haven’t been to U.S. parks yet, hopefully soon! Just discovered your channel a couple of days ago and I am enjoying my time. Hope you are all well 🌸
Hi lovely Provost family- Tea time with Amanda and friends, I'm so down for it! This theme park looks really awesome and thank you for bringing me on this adventure. It's really amazing to see how each of these Disney parks are so unique in their own ways. What I'm so thankful for is having you guys in my life giving me my daily dose of Disney, I can't emphasize it enough. It has been a rough patch for me lately as I'm adjusting to a new schedule in my life. Your videos continue to keep me moving everyday!!
If you ever get up to Canada’s Victoria’s island and visit Bouchard Gardens they have traditional Tea Time. You get your tea and a 3 tier plate set up that has savories on the bottom then something in the middle then Sweets on the top. It’s service for 2 so you get 2 of everything on the plates. Everything’s bite size. It’s a really posh experience. And it’s only done specific times. Worth it and worth going to that garden. It’s Gorgeous.
Chris- the way you end these videos with words of encouragement really helps thank you so much. Also I think we should do a miles takes over the vlog for a day 😊
Tea time with Amanda! That would be awesome!! Love Disneyland Paris! Went over for the inaugural RunDisney half marathon and so much was under renovation! I gotta go back. And we stayed at the Sequoia Lodge. Everything is so close, just loved it!!
This is the only Disneyland I have ever been to. I'd like to do the others too someday but I have nowhere near the budget hahaha. But for me and my brothers who come from England this is the best we can get. I've loved seeing the tour unfold and seeing all the different parks!
Love you guys and happy to see you got another castle in. I'm might be a bit biased and I can admit the newer parks have the better rides but without Disneyland none of the others parks would be here. Still love seeing all the other parks and you guys letting us all tag along
I'm Canadian and when I was growing up, we always had tea time. My grandmother and great-grandmother made sure we had tea and biscuits around 4pm and then "toast and tea" before bed. 😊 My great great-grandparents came over from Wales and Scotland, and the tea tradition has always been a part of my family. Thanks again for another wonderful video! ❤️ I am hoping to travel to Disneyland Paris in the fall 2024.
Hi Amanda, Miles and Chris the best part of the U Tube are laughs and the excitement when your on the rides I feel like right with you 😊 Also Chris your kind words at the end they alot of us that need them 😢 Many blessings
Thank you Chris, Amanda and Miles! I don’t know if I’ll ever get to go to all the places your exploring but going along with you on your adventure is almost as good as being there! I really do feel like I’m along with you! Thank you❤
I’m from the UK and although we don’t do teatime like this all the time - we do like to go out for afternoon tea as a treat. I’ve been with my mum and sister today - we had finger sandwiches, fruit scones with clotted cream and jam and mini cakes plus a pot of tea. You need to try when you come to the uk soon I’d love to have teatime with Amanda ❤
Enjoying the summer of castles!! We are going to be in 🇫🇷 🇬🇧🏴next month looks like we will be following in your footsteps! Taking lots of notes. Can’t wait for Disneyland Paris, highlight of our trip, of course ♥️♥️♥️
Amanda will love Afternoon Tea in England. In London, I think you'd like tea at Kensington Palace, Fortnum & Mason or Harrod's, if you have Miles with you. There are some really expensive versions at the fancy hotels, but not sure Miles would enjoy those. If you don't have a lot of time, there are several places that offer a "cream tea" which is just scones with clotted cream and jam and tea - not all the sandwiches and cakes. Don't ask for "high tea" - that's actually dinner. People think it's the fancy afternoon tea, but it's really not. Just go for "afternoon tea" and you'll be set. 😊👍
Tea time with Amanda!?! My daughter (7 yo) & I would LOVE to join (she’s a huge fan 😍) her love of you & your family spread to the rest of our household and we all look forward to new videos ❤
Thanks so much for taking us along on your fabulous day! I really hope I get to ride that Thunder Mountain some day! I would also love to Ride that Haunted Mansion. I love how similar and yet how different it is! Very cool!
Not from Europe, but any time I head over there, there's some sort of mid afternoon break. In Germany, Austria, and Switzerland it's kaffee und kuchen (coffee and cake), in Scandinavia it's fika, it's siesta in Spain, just lots of traditions of taking a break for a snack and rest in the mid afternoon. I love it!
Tea time with Amanda and friends would be amazing! Really want to go to Disneyland Paris one day, definitely on my bucket list but for now living vicariously through you. Thanks for another great video!
I’ve recently discovered your videos and I am really enjoying them. I love how positive and upbeat you guys are and the positive messages you convey. Have a wonderful time and thank you for bringing us along on all of your adventures
Hi I hope you guys are doing well and that everything is going well for you guys and that you guys are having a happy week so far and a happy Tuesday. I agree with you Chris and 62° is nice weather I wish I was the temperature where I'm at. Cuz where I'm at it is hot 🥵 outside. Other than that I hope you guys are doing well on your world 🌍 trip and that everything is going well for you guys on your trip. Cuz if it was in the 60s here and can finally wear my dark color stuff cuz it's really not a good idea to wear dark clothes on a hot day and just makes you hotter I think.
We were there 10 or 12 years ago and stayed in the Yacht Club. At that time it was nice and had a really nice included breakfast. They also use to have a trolley that went from the hotels to the park. The station was by the balloon.
The only time I visited Disneyland Paris was 5 years ago and we stayed at Newport Bay - it was lovely! Quite recently renovated at that point and was really plush - the only problem was the fish restaurant did make the lobby smell fishy. Sad to hear it's gone downhill since! Seqoia Lodge really appeals though. We actually found getting food at Disneyland Paris quite difficult, but pre-covid, I don't know how much has changed. Teatime is kinda a thing? yes? Cup of tea and a snack late afternoon, to tide you over with dinner not til more like 8pm. When I was a kid it was a drink and snack when you got home from school. I'm less likely to meet friends for coffee, as for afternoon tea... the whole spread though, that's something we did once for my birthday! Definitely not an everyday occurance!
Omgosh! I go in November. The place I’m staying you pointed at and said not to stay there, but I’m going for the parks! Thank you for the encouragement to keep going. Life can be hard.
That resort lodge looks huge and love the rustic style! I'm so jealous about tea time!! Not at all what I expected - but certainly looks delicious! Looking forward to your next video! Have fun guys!
Thank you Chris, Amanda & Miles ☺...hi from the UK. I'm so thrilled you're at Disneyland Paris ( my home park ) 😍 I'm sure they make Big Thunder Mountain go faster every other week!!! ha! It sure is wild!!! Glad you're all having fun! It really is such a beautiful park. Can't wait for you to see the 30th Anniversary Show, 'Dream & Shine Brighter' , characters & cast members dancing in the central hub is so infectious and amazing. And ooh you're going to love a fancy afternoon tea when you come to the UK 😋x
Tea time is an old Tradition! We go out in the UK for afternoon tea! Go to the Wolsey or Fortum and Mason in London! Now that’s tea time!!!! Any excuse for a pot of tea and finger sandwiches for me! 🇬🇧
I just love watching your world tour of the castles! One day I will make it to Disney Paris, no one wants to go with me! I want to go, guess I will have to go alone. I'm going to Disneyland by myself in September, None of my friends love Disney the way I do! Thank You Chris for always making it feel like we are a part of it all!!
Loving your tour. Looks an amazing sequence of trips. You’ll soon be on UK soil and I’m excited for vlogs in my own country. Strange because I found you when researching my trip to California and soon you’ll be here! We don’t travel til December Thanks for bringing us along on your tour xx
The Santa Fe hotel is Cars themed, not the Cheyenne (that's Woody themed I think). We stayed there at the beginning of July this summer and it was nice, but definitely a budget hotel. Also noteworthy is that it was super hot when we were there and there is no AC in the rooms, just a ceiling fan. Even though there is a window AC unit - but it doesn't work. We even asked the reception about it. My husband almost melted away. 😉
Tea Time with Amanda and Friends at Disneyland (CA?) sounds like so much fun! I'm in! Thank you for another fun video. My favorite ride at Disneyland Is Big Thunder. Would love to visit Paris' one day. You guys are the best. Miles is so cute. Love Chris's silly groovy moves when he's excited about something 😂. And I thought tea time was people drinking actual tea and eating biscuits, using a pretty Victorian tea set talking with one another. Wow the Sequoia Hotel looks amazing!!!
I agree with your Thunder Mountain list!

You have Indeed to a lot of tea time place/restaurant in UK. Especially, in London
Tea time with Amanda…I’M IN!!! That sounds like so much fun! 🤗

They will always have vegetarian options for Amanda as well!
My mouth watered at the European hot cocoa. It's the best I've ever had!

This is the best dlp video I've seen especially to help me arrange my Disneyland Paris holiday for this year 2024

Loved Miles’ reaction to the bride appearing in the doombuggy. That’s pure terror if I’ve ever seen it! 😂
The same happened to our son! He was terrified that the ghost would follow us all day!
@@patriciachisholm6246 haha that’s so cute! Phantom Manor truly is much scarier than other Haunted Mansions…

Canoes? I did them ONCE at Disneyland Anaheim/ It was way too much work. I went to have fun, not get tired and wet. 🙂

Greetings from 2 big fans from the Netherlands.
seems like it was just yesterday, but three years, when i watched you guys visit paris
Many years ago we stayed at the Disneyland hotel. We left the window open and could hear the ticking of the it’s a small world clock all night line. We also heard them rehearsing for a show. We had a great time
thanks for mentioning me for the footage, would love to meet up again
Have you ever tried a cranberry sprite? A little sweet and a little tart. So good 👍❤
Bless you the hotel Cheyenne is the wild west town, Santa Fe is the cars theme, which was a Mexican theme when we stayed in Euro Disney, 1992.
Also I think we should do a miles takes over the vlog for a day 😊
You are so welcome. 💚💙
Love the park of course but really enjoyed seeing tea time (with Amanda 😊) at the hotel☕
The world is better because YOU are in it, Chris!
Thank you Chris, Amanda and Miles! I don’t know if I’ll ever get to go to all the places your exploring but going along with you on your adventure is almost as good as being there! I really do feel like I’m along with you! Thank you❤
Loved coming along on your day at the park❤ thanks for sharing all the fun 😀 ❤
I've come to realize that afternoon tea is just snack time haha. Sounds much nicer than snack time though.
I’m from the UK and although we don’t do teatime like this all the time - we do like to go out for afternoon tea as a treat.
I’ve been with my mum and sister today - we had finger sandwiches, fruit scones with clotted cream and jam and mini cakes plus a pot of tea.
You need to try when you come to the uk soon
I’d love to have teatime with Amanda ❤
Enjoying the summer of castles!! We are going to be in 🇫🇷 🇬🇧🏴next month looks like we will be following in your footsteps! Taking lots of notes. Can’t wait for Disneyland Paris, highlight of our trip, of course ♥️♥️♥️
Love the Miles commentary!! Super fun.
The castle is beautiful.
Thanks for sharing the Phantom Mansion story (especially after film release; which was very good). You trip looks fun, hope I can experience my own.
Thanks so much for taking us along on your fabulous day! I really hope I get to ride that Thunder Mountain some day! I would also love to Ride that Haunted Mansion. I love how similar and yet how different it is! Very cool!
You are the best Blogger ever ❤❤
Not from Europe, but any time I head over there, there's some sort of mid afternoon break. In Germany, Austria, and Switzerland it's kaffee und kuchen (coffee and cake), in Scandinavia it's fika, it's siesta in Spain, just lots of traditions of taking a break for a snack and rest in the mid afternoon. I love it!
Teatime with Amanda would be the best! ❤
I would love "Tea Time with Amanda and Friends"! I'll play hookie from work for that at Disneyland!
Ride the D-Train around the park to show the different between Disney Parks Please.
Tea time with Amanda and friends would be amazing! Really want to go to Disneyland Paris one day, definitely on my bucket list but for now living vicariously through you. Thanks for another great video!
We've done DL, MK and Paris... best space mountain for sure!!.
What a beautiful park.
Tea Time with Amanda at Disneyland would be sooooo fuuuuuunnnnn!
I’ve recently discovered your videos and I am really enjoying them. I love how positive and upbeat you guys are and the positive messages you convey. Have a wonderful time and thank you for bringing us along on all of your adventures
Love tea time with Amanda and friends!!
Tea time with Amanda! I would love to attend. Sounds like so much fun!
Disneyland Paris is amazing! 🏰
Tea 🍵 time ⏲️ with Amanda. Count me in!
Omgosh! I go in November. The place I’m staying you pointed at and said not to stay there, but I’m going for the parks! Thank you for the encouragement to keep going. Life can be hard.
Don’t worry you will love it. 💙💙💚💚
We don’t travel til December
Thanks for bringing us along on your tour xx
Thank you for taking us on this trip with your fun and amazing family.
How incredible it must be to actually be living this experience.
Oh what fun… Disney Paris!! ❤❤ and Yes Tea Time with Amanda!! Love it!!🤗🤗
The Santa Fe hotel is Cars themed, not the Cheyenne (that's Woody themed I think). 😉
I'd love a Tea Time with Amanda and friends!
I would love to have tea time with Amanda! She looks like my kind of people!!
Oooh - I *need* one of those sweaters!!! 😲🥰🥰🥰
