US ARMY BASIC TRAINING AT FORT JACKSON, SC SUMMER OF 1966

This is an 8mm movie I took during my time in Basic Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina in the Summer of 1966. While I was on a Pass in Columbia, SC, all the other guys went to Bars to get drunk or get Tattoos, I found a Pawn Shop and bought an 8mm movie camera, and the results were this poor-quality film I took. Too bad we did not have Video back then, the quality and sound would have made this a real historical treat.
