her Lucia di Lammermoor is and will always be be best in the world...simply unbeatable! I love Edita Gruberover and have done so for the last 40 years...phenomenal!
The woman is music itself. Her art goes beyond a brilliant technique, she lives the drama. Her longevity is a testament to her love and dedication to the music she performs.
She is a legend!

I did not remove or delete any of my video's. If The Art of Belcanto is not available, it must have another reason. If you buy the DVD with Lucrezia Borgia, the documentary is added for free.

+Hupjeflupje I found out that "Believe Music" took your video down. Yes, of course, they want people to buy the DVD with Lucrezia Borgia. I so apologize. I just cannot "Believe" that a music company called "Believe" would be so unbelievably GREEDY. :) UA-cam is wonderful for FREE music to the public for our tax dollars. I will never buy that CD just because of what they did to you, and "us" -- the public. I will never buy their CD just because of what they did. :)

This are the last years where her voice was absolutely in shape. Around 2009 the top notes became weak but she decided to sing another decade with the same repertory and that was a fail. I love her very much but the last 10 years were a mistake and she did everything to become her own parody with hopeless attempts to scream the high Eb.
Who writes such a comment 1 week after her death didnt love or like her.
And there is no law when somebody has to finish. I listened her in Berlin 2018 and she was more brillant, young open voice, also in the high register, than the later generation around Damrau oder Netrebko never reached eve in age of 30 with her forced Tremolo voices. Each who listenend to her in the last decade know her age and also friends who accompagned me couldnt believe thar such voice and talent ever exist. Till 2012 she never failed. So go to critize the errors and a insane voice position, which younger artists make quasi each performance.
@@coraberger4947 , who are you that you have the arrogance to decide and judge about other peoples opinions and impressions? I liked Gruberova very much but i have my opinion about the autumn of her career. You have another one and that's okay. I really don't ask for your permission to express my own opinion. Deal with it, darling :)
