Adam Buxton's work, from his radio show with Joe through his work on Bug to his podcast series, constitutes a solid percentage of my viewing and listening in 2017. He never fails to lift my spirits. Most of it, of course, has to do with the fact that he's very funny. But he isn't afraid to share a more contemplative side and often it's those moments that give me a little hope for myself, as I'm an actor and writer whose life lived in two continents over the past decade has been somewhat taxing. Adam and I are weeks apart in age, so, while I wouldn't go as far as to say he is a benchmark, he does make me feel better.

I know a lot of people think that calling others out on their misuse of apostrophes is anal and somehow fascistic, but the rules are really simple. Especially when it comes to plurals. If it's a non-possessive plural, you don't need one. If it's a possessive, you do.
