    The service you get from Sportsbikeshop is second to none.

    Loved the story, did a similar thing as a teenager on my old Suzuki GP100. Thought I’d broken down but hadn’t turned the fuel tap on 🤣
    What camera/mount setup are you using please? Looking at getting back into riding after about 18 years and would like a decent camera setup

      This is a Sena 10c it is a camera/intercom combined.
      I bought this as i needed both so killed 2 birds with one stone..
      I have upgraded it since this one to the 4k one.
      The only problem with the Sena versus the Gopro option is image stabilization.
      the Bonus with Sena is the is no hassle trying to mount it and connect a mic to it.
      Get on a bike you will love it.
      Just remember to keep the rubber bits facing down ;)

    How are you finding it a few months on? Does it come with tools and does the rear seat lift up?

    • @battsonbikes1919
      @battsonbikes1919  4 роки тому +3

      It is still a great ride.
      the rear seat doesn't lift up, the tools came in the panniers.
      The beauty of this bike is everything is really laid back.
      you can take things at a civilised pace and enjoy.
      You notice the scenery and what is going on around you.
      Great fuel economy too.

      Do you have to keep the indicators pressed in while turning...that was one of my concerns

      @@deetee-uk No not at all.
      If your looking to buy one of these you wont be disappointed.
      For short trips up to a couple of hours the seat is fairly comfy and for commuting around town it is great fun.

      Thanks. I'm looking to go camping with it...is there any place to strap a tent?

    • @battsonbikes1919
      @battsonbikes1919  4 роки тому +2

      @@deetee-uk The saddle bags wont hold much but you can use the back seat and a cargo net bungie to hold the tent

    do you think it would be alright for a bit bigger guys? cheers.

      Depends on what you mean by big.
      There is no adjustment in the suspension. I am about 15 stone ish ( 95kg) and 5'10" (1.8mtr).
      My legs are not cramped at all but i have a short inside leg measurement ( 31")
      My friend rides it also and he has a 34" inside leg and also loves it.
      I have seen a guy on one that was very large, must have been 20 stone, the suspension did look a little low but not bottomed out.
      I dont think it would really matter too much as long as your not massive in any category as it does not really go fast enough to make it dangerous in any way.
