- Multiple fire departments responded to the 400 Blk of Carolina Ave Monday morning for a house fire. Crews arrived to already having 3 homes involved to the rear of the properties. Crews special called multiple engine companies above the 2nd alarm for manpower to the scene. The fire is under investigation….
As long as architects in the US continue designing bonfires, builders will never be short of work.
Those fireman did a great job in short time! Thank you to all involved
Big fire big water deck gun or a deuc& a half whatare you doing pulling the cross lay 😢
Stop talking dirty.
These guys are some kind of experts on a cross lay. Evidently from some of the comments they figured out a better way to maximize greater fire suppression with a 1 3/4" line, then a deck gun.
Hopefully there were no injuries to anyone related to this incident.
Thank you to all firefighters everywhere for protecting the
citizens of your coverage area.
What's really sad is all the highly flammable White pine and other items in houses these days vinyl siding melts.
you omitted the 30 minutes they needed fuzzing around before they put water on the fire.
The firefighters did a great job of containing this fire and putting it out, but I myself have never like row houses and these look like they are made of wood or brick veener.
Glad I don't live in Whitehall. These dudes need to train with Allentown or something.
I literally wouldn't buy a house in Whitehall because of their Fire Department and their P.D. blows too
Watch any Brian Bastinelli video from Harrisburg, to see how pros do it. Not downing Allentown as I haven't seen enough of them to have an opinion one way or the other, but I have seen lots of the Harrisburg videos, and can't recall any bad comments. There's an April 2024 row home fire video that you won't find any bad remarks whatsoever that is the latest one I've seen.
Someone needs to teach the young man to sound the roof before stepping off the ladder. Next time he may not be so lucky.
Obviously this fire had a hell of a head start but Whitehall seriously needs to reconsider paid staff
My neighbor house burned down and we have paid firefighter they are a waste of taxpayers money
They need to be better trained, and probably need to recruit members at the very least.
@@TomManning-cs4elyou cannot make a blanket statement based upon one incident. Sometimes the structure is beyond salvation no matter how quickly anyone gets there.
@@stephenhanneken3041 no they were shopping at took 14 minutes to get to the fire the station Is across the street from me.... it's a waste of taxpayers money for full time firefighter
@@notthatdonald1385 well it's Alot of old white men out of shape
So many things wrong in this video
Wat da fuk? This is deckgun OA all day! Someone needs a New Command structure!
Another perfunctory deck gun comment from a YT comments super poser expert.
@@RLTtizME out of control fires, threatening additional property and or life. Need to be dealt with on a higher level of initial attack. Sorry NOT SORRY!
even a 2" line with with a 15/16" tip flowing at 50psi isn't going to make any difference here. ESPECIALLY from the upwind side of the fire! Thats threatening uninvolved downwind properties.
Command staff on scene before arriving engine? And wasn't able to make a no brainer call. Clearly i am more of a expert on big water deployments, and informed decisions!
@@shanestamball1886 LOL…..everyone knows more than the FF in the videos. You get quite lathered up. This is YT comments for crap sake. It is hilarious that most will flail around trying to justify and prop up their initial comment. Just think…there are perhaps 30 FF who have watched this video…and read your comment…quite confident that they know considerably more than you! LOL again! And so it goes…..
@@RLTtizME 😂😂😂, my record is solid. My development's of command n control 20years ago. Is somewhat fundamental of what is currently taught in fire schools throughout this country. When any of those supposed FF, take any training that is taught, and makes a logical decision of how too either enhance or debunk problems. For a better or safer SOP. and implements change.let me know. And submit your video's or findings NFPA for clarification.
@@shanestamball1886 LOL…doing the Monty Python strut. Marvelous….a great look for you…inadvertent but impressive still. Was this an excerpt from your lecture series? Pathetic that this is the best venue you could find. At least you don’t have to suffer the embarrassment of witnessing droves of your attendees getting up and leaving. 👍😂😛 . Insufferable….Mr. Stumbles…haughty, officious, egotistical and cringey. I bet they loved you at the firehouse. You earned the hocker in that bowl of chili……Made just for you….by the crew! 🫢👈
