I'm a Pakistani who was so passionate about animation. I had books and books of my drawings. To go to japan and join a studio was a dream - ie impossible. And so I went to med school. To see this opportunity arise, and to see it IN pakistan; it warms my heart. Our country is growing and learning and believing in itself more and more - so thank you Usman, for being a pioneer in a field where everyone is so scared to enter
From your guitar playing skills to the animation and anything you've done for the industry is a real inspiration for the youth of Pakistan, together we can build this country great again, Bloom Where You Are Planted
I'm a doctor who always loved animation and side way kept learning about hand drawn animation. I studied and loved films like Tangled and Studio Ghibli. Though I practice medicine but stay in touch with content like this.
Truly , the mano studios had gone through a lot of hardships and difficulties to bring this master piece to life in Pakistan. Keep going guys and make this country proud . I know the movie itself will be totally worth it . Thank you for making my dream come true.😊 Long live Pakistan 🇵🇰
This moved me to literal tears, I watched Glassworker recently and it is the most phenomenal work of art. So proud of Usman Riaz for doing the undoable. The movie turned out magnificent. I have no special words to describe but in numbers it was a 10/10. Big love, huge congrats. 🎉 You made it.
The word genius tends to imply some unique kind of magic ability. I'd say he's passionate and dilligent, like his peers. No magic but hard work of people.
Its an amazing step you are taking and i hope that your dreams reach their fruition 🙌 P.s i loved the short film and can’t wait for the whole thing 😍 I would love to see anime getting a root in Pakistan Through Mano studio IA 😇
And to think I thought it was to late to become a great and impactful animator I’m 19 and I always wanted to do animation but I think it’s too late for me

@@staravys oh just shut up already! I loved that pakistan is doing something in cartoon or anime. But that’s knock off Ghibli !!!! Now if you want to have some knowledge about go check Ghibli online !!!!!!!
@@zenobiakhan5665It's not a knockoff of studio Ghibli, he said it himself that HE WAS INSPIRED BY THE STUDIO GHIBLI AND THIS IS A TRIBUTE TO MIYAZAKI Who has already retired. If you still can't understand then do you, I have no interest in someone who doesn't know the difference between inspiration and downright copying.

I don't see how it's a flatout ghibli knockoff. I think the reason you might think its a knockoff is because of the hand-drawn style. Of course it takes inspiration from Ghibli yes, but The Glassworker has definitely turned it into its own personal style. It is incredibly modern yet very organic. That's very obvious from the trailers, and Mano Animation has done a fantastic job at introducing a Pakistani touch into their artwork as well If you call TG a rip-off, you might as well call every anime show a rip-off. Ghibli doesn't have a right over their style. You can see that they haven't copied anything, just that inspiration has been taken
Now he's about to release Pakistan's first hand-animated movie!
bringing a new revolution in Pakistan with "The Glassworker" , hats off to Usman RIaz
