300hp is just the beginning on these engines.
4-500hp has been done.
WOOOWWWWwwwww Man's!!!!
Super Congratulations!!!!
Fiat Coué 20V Turbo FOREVER!!!!
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
309 hp is incredible for that small car
Man his a good mechanic!
I had a 20vT back in the day and loved it...and the stock 220hp felt quick....this will be a rocket ship. Just need to be careful going 'round corners as it's still a Tipo underneath!
That was Awesome guys..that chip upgrade was lovely !
The original 16v turbo had the lancia delta integrale engine. 👍
The best fiat coupe'20v turbo number one❤❤❤
Driving with the hood not closed properly is not a good idea. 8:14
I had one in the same colour approx 250 b.h.p years ago it shocked alot cars massively underated
All good but i dont get how increasing the power will add anymore strain on the timing belt. Unless you replace the valve springs with a stronger ones, the torque required to turn the camshafts its basically the same. The thing that will def see more strain is the clutch
Well, the belt was just outdated: normal maintainance.
310 cv con il turbo originale è pura fantasia!!
Using the OE side mount intercooler won’t yield that power for long, as it will suffer heat soak.
Which in turn leads to higher cylinder temps, no apparent mention of the fuel pump wiring mod.
On a hot summers day when being pushed will probably lead to det, and the end of that car, never mind the MOT that missed a whole bunch of corrosion.
Another brewer bodge it and scarper
There was loads of fiat coupes with way more power than this back in the day.
These cars can handle the extra power reliably well.
these were routinely tuned over 300bhp back in the day and turbo swaps over 400bhp with std internals and tranny
Mine made over 342bhp in 2009, 416bhp in 2014 and just made 448bhp in July. Plans for well over 500bhp in the next year or two 👍🏻
@@Trappygit indeed, great car....wish they still made something v similar in this price range..
Whilst I agree about the 300 hp statement, sticking with the crappy side mount intercooler won’t make this one reliable long term.
@@jamiemead3082 they upgrade to FMIC for proper tuned variants
I had the same one back in 2002. Same colour and same R reg. Black leather.
Love ya work mate
I’m surprised to find any Coupe 20VT doing less than 300hp today… 😎
yes im looking for 1 full stock and is only scrap outthere. all them are tuned.
Im Oscar from Venezuelan...by Discovery channel whatcing your WD program
Nice!
says that they will swap plastic water pump for a metal one.... proceed to install new plastic one. 😄
On my Fiat, when I did the belt and pump what came off looked like plastic but was metal and the new one was the same, metal, weird
maravilloso
where i can buy the mapping?
o mais impresionante é que não explodiu kkkkkkkk
What year is this car?
what are the con rods like on that engine?
Like? They're good for 340lbs/ft. Pistons good for 400bhp.
The torque number is the most impressive, you need to realize most turbo 4 cylinders like Hondas that make that kind of power would be under or around 200 lbft of torque which is why they are so slow off the line then start to scream as rpms rise.
300+ on a front wheel drive car, and i always thought the biggest issue with the Fiat Coupe was those straight slash wheel arches which means skinny tyres... its not going to end well
Why are you not providing subtitles in the videos???
Subtitles are obbligatory.
Mhh 4k for all??! ........ may be 25k now
I saw this part dubbed into Hungarian.
1 word: understeer
Lol the cam lobes look like the pyramids .
here,in France, a bad 20vt is 5000 to 6000€
a good 20vt is 9500 to 12000€
i dream to find one à 2700 or 3000€
That sure is a crummy shirt you got on mister
Fiat❤️🇮🇹🇮🇹🔥🔥🔥🔥🇦🇷
3 miles after completion it broke down and crumbled into a rust pile...
Not that Elvis's work wasn't up to scratch, it's a Fiat, that's what they do 🤣🤣👌✌
So how do you explain my 98 Le still going strong🤦♂️
Really ? I've been lucky enough to own Porsches, Corvettes and various Honda V tecs, and I've always had Fiats as working machines, always treated like mules. With some I have traveled more than 400,000 km without ever having problems, both petrol and diesel. Now I bought myself a 16V turbo fiat coupe with over 300hp as a Thrack day car.
If by chance it breaks I will let you know. Let's not trust Fiat so much... 👋
Some of these are so so fake ! Watching the one the other day where there’s the high revving sound effects when he’s doing about 35MPH and then that Bmw 335 one where the scene keeps changing to make it look like their racing and it’s not even going fast , no way did that car beat the M3 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ cant even watch it anymore with Cringy Mike , was a good program and it’s just been totally Ruined!
A customer brought this car to us for repairs after buying from these clowns. I’ve never seen anything so bodged together in all my life working on cars. Amazing what they don’t show you in the videos
300hp @ over 6000rpm on a tired engine = hand grenade.
My block has just been rebored and made 448bhp from 7,200-7,800rpm. Pulls well 👍🏻
You forget its the Fiat 5-cyl. Bulletproof.
Erm.. no. Not in this case.
@@GTI1dasOriginal Yeah so I’ve discovered after researching. These things are weapons.
j ai un T20V turbo de 330cv E.L
That power curve on the dyno doesn’t seem to be the most efficient
