West Bromwich Walk: Outside The Hawthorns | West Bromwich Albion F.C.【4K】

We take a special tour around The Hawthorns, home to football club West Bromich Albion F.C. It has been their home ground since 1900, named after the hawthorn bushes in the area that had to be cut down to make way for the stadium. At a capacity of around 27,000 it is, at the time of writing, the 31st largest football stadium in England.
The four stands are Smethwick End, East Stand, Birmingham Road End and Halfords Lane Stand. Access to the East Stand is via the Jeff Astle Gates, named after the striker who played for West Brom between 1964 and 1974. Outside the East Stand is a statue of Tony 'Bomber' Brown who played for West Brom between 1963 and 1980.
HOW TO GET TO THE STADIUM:
