I was there v Norwich 1978 my first ever game, I was there when cyrille scored that goal v Norwich 82, I was there v Woking 91 I was there v Swansea 93, I was there when we beat wo1ve5 in 93 (and every time after) I was there for the 4-4 v Bolton when Sneekes made a 2goal scoring debut, I was there v Charlton 00 to stay up I was there v palace 02 to go up I was there v Portsmouth 05 the greatest ever escape!! I was there v man utd 5-5, I was there for all the in betweeners and for all those matches after.... I remember them all.....
But I cant remember what I did yesterday 😃
Happy birthday the Hawthorns I hope we can ALL soon return
And home to the best behaved, passionate and respected supporters around!!!

Unfortunately we don’t have the fan base to fill it. If Halfords Lane gets extended on it would be around 30,000. We’d never fill it even in the prem.

Mike. D. Yes it is officially the coldest ground in the country, the Hawthorns is at an altitude of 651 Feet above sea level, that is the Birmingham Road end of the pitch, for years we always wondered why it was so cold up there! Now we know! ❄️😱
