- On 7 October 2023, Palestinian militia groups from the Gaza start Incident a raids against Israel, breaking through the Gaza-Israel barrier. Israel announced the beginning of a counteroffensive effort called Operation Swords of Iron.

@@nickjohnson3619 There were autonomous towers with machineguns mounted on them with the IDF being able to man them. Turns out that before the attack the Al Qassam Brigades and the DFLP/PFLP militant wing dropped grenades from drones onto them destroying them.
