Father of 6 surprised at work with gifts from a Secret Santa

- The EastIdahoNews.com team is busy this holiday season helping a local man gift $1 million to deserving people in eastern Idaho. Secret Santa is a real person who wants to remain anonymous and hopes to bless as many individuals in our community as he can.
Steven and Rayne are the hard-working parents of six children between the ages 3-16.
Last spring, Rayne started having health problems with her digestive system and she was diagnosed with colon cancer. The chemotherapy treatments have gone well and are nearly complete, but it has put this already struggling family in a tailspin.
As part of her recovery, Rayne had to buy a $3,000 hospital bed so she could sleep sitting up. On top of the health problems, the family’s little propane furnace went out, causing them to rely on electric space heaters. With winter coming on, this will get very expensive. Estimates for a replacement furnace are about $5,000.
Through all this, Rayne and Steven have never complained. They face these challenges with optimism and are the first to help when others are in need.
Secret Santa asked the East Idaho News team to visit Steven and we found him hard at work. Watch the video above to see the surprise!
The poor man was fighting back tears and his hands were shaking so bad. Very deserving family.

I needed a " secret Santa " once and he came to me, Jesus Christ, I needed salvation, I didn't deserve it but he gave it to me anyway, I was a drunk and a drug addict ,all these years later I'm a preacher, and he is still good to me. Love these videos

Wow, imagine having no heating and six children, wife with cancer….so many challenges in an area where the snow,it would be so cold. Such a blessing to be gifted the money by Secret Santa to fix/buy a new furnace.

I’m a 48 yr old guy and I’m not ashamed to say these choke me up every time!
I just went from laughing in the previous video I was watching to all teary in 4 minutes. The kind of crying where you are happy not sad and for some reason your throat feels all tense and strained. The story is quite common. Someone gets sick and then right on cue something expensive breaks down. But something about this family's story hit a nerve and I've no idea why.

Idaho Falls had a bad flood in 1975 the year I graduated high school. I live in South Alabama. Me and 6 others went and set up house trailers for temporary homes for a lot of the farmers and ranchers up there. We had a blast. Such a beautiful place and the people were very nice to us. A nice experience for an 18 year old kid, will never forget it. I am 64 years old now.
Many people try to hide their emotion when receiving surprising news especially on camera. Irregular breathing, slight voice change and shaking hands are the most common signs that a person who is visibly calm is actually experiencing a wave of emotions. You can clearly see it with this guy, and it only shows how much he appreciates and needed the help.
I love that secret Santa gives what is needed to those who need it the most and are so humble about their needs Good job Santa squad.The need is great for this kind of thing, may you be able to help provide for others for a long time to come. I wish that they did this where I live but they don't. There is a great many people who could use some help and kindness from a stranger.

I wonder if its a combination of local sponsors in Idaho and maybe EIN that has money they add. I saw last year that the cars they gave away were of the same brand.

This is a wonderful gift. It would have been nice to pick up the cost of the special bed, which must have set them back quite a bit, I know it would me.
