We take a trip down to Devon to steam a 6" Burrell Gold Medal Tractor with a view to buying it. We learn more about steaming an engine, what's involved, how to maintain a boiler, and get to drive it up and down the yard a little.

I sure wish i had that! I would put around town with it just to be different. Bring ever old timer tractor "expert" out of the woodwork to tell me what I am doing wrong.

good video - a lot wrong with the engine, runs as awful as it looks :)
To be fair, it was a brand new engine, so needed some adjustment and bedding in.
@@SteamOTR I know - I did see it twice (once at GDSF) but never under steam - the paint job is stunning but the rest of it is far from good workmanship. It is also for sale over a long time now (price reduced twice) - on the other hand if you own it you will always have a lot of people surrounding your indian-copy-engine ;)
