I wish my daughter would cook for me🥺 the thing is, since she lives in Virginia and her dad and I lives in South Jersey, I always end up cooking for her. She watched your kare kare and embutido episode now she wants me to make some. Since we haven’t seen her since June and she’s coming home Labor Day weekend, I think I’ll make both. The embutido I’ll make ahead and the kare kare , the day that she’ll be home. Haay! Ang mga anak nga naman. BTW she’s a fan of yours, she watches when she unwinds from her demanding job. I think it would be better to have the subtitles as "Bagoong (shrimp paste)" for those who want to replicate the recipe instead of just shrimp paste because other shrimp pastes exist in the market that don't taste like bagoong :)

I just made bicol express for the first time, doubling a recipe that called for 2 cups of chopped finger chilies & 14 thai red chilies... So 4 cups + 28 chilies. My partner is suffering 😢 this one looks good & less painful 😅
