when I found Jesus, I found peace, love, joy hope etc and its all because the comforter has come into my heart and save me from my sins. I was Hindu and my life was a mess I got marry to a christian guy but he wasnt faithful to the Lord but together we found Jesus and surrender our life. I praise God everyday for my salvation.

Hey.. I have been a christian for a very long time.. I grew up in a christian home and became saved when I was young., peopel always talk about a change but I was so young when I was saved that I don't see such a huge change from before I was a christian., I also struggle with doubt., I hate that I doubt.. Lauren i understand your situation but you have to remember God is not looking for you to be perfect he knows you doubt but he still loves you the apostles themselves who saw Jesus our lord and Savior had doubt but God was still with them the spirit still moved them to spread the Good news. you have been chosen to be a disciple a queen a leader among many nations so i recommend you as a brother to get more involved in your church take classes learn more about God. Find a Bible Study group because to stay strong in our faith, we need to be surrounded by other Christians. God bless you.

You became spiritually reborn (Born Again), if you admitted you are a sinner, repented of your sins, asked God to forgive you, and invited Jesus to become the Lord and Savior of your life, and you meant it with all your heart!
God actually recreated your spirit and made it brand new, and directly connected it to His Spirit!! He did that by actually coming to live inside your spirit, to help you, teach you, and guide you through the rest of your life in your human body, and then to also give you eternal life in heaven with Him. God the Father, Jesus, AND the Holy Spirit each and all, came to live inside your spirit!
This doesn't happen for a person unless he TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY surrenders and commits his life to Jesus! God knows your heart, and if you were totally serious with Him when you prayed the Prayer of Salvation! Few people actually are totally serious, in any Christian church, including Catholic and Orthodox!! It's because many people don't totally repent and are not willing to turn loose of all their ties to sinning! I'm talking about repetitive type sinning, and not impulse sinning!
Impulse sinning is what we can never totally get rid of, but we CAN and MUST get rid of all of our repetitive type sinning! If we totally repent and are totally willing to change, God will indeed help us change!! He will supernaturally help us get rid of all of our repetitive type sinning! BUT He won't override our free will, and force us to change! See what I mean?
Your name gets written into the Book of Life in heaven, and it will stay in there and never get erased (as long as you stick with Jesus, and never leave Him or forsake Him)!!!
There's only ONE God, not many, and thus ONLY ONE way to heaven, and becoming Born Again spiritually, IS IT, and you have become Born Again spiritually!!

i went to a christian camp and at the end of the camp, we did this think called crosstalk where they reenact jesus crucifixion and i dont know why but after the crosstalk we were praying and i just broke out crying. i wasnt feeling sad but im pretty sure the holu ghost got in me.

All my life I heard about Jesus Christ, but I was never told the gospel or if I was told, I never listened. So, I built up my own kingdom and erected my own idols to worship. I said I was a Christian, but I never lived it. I met someone who was agnostic and they explained that to me. I realized I was agnostic, but yet, when people asked about my faith I replied, "I'm Christian". For almost 17 years of my life, this is how I lived. Until the storm came and my kingdom fell because it was built on the sand. I found myself in a dark, then, through God's creation, I heard Him calling for me. Part of me knew it was Him, but the other part was too ashamed. I cried for nights on end, "HOW?! How could such a Great God forgive me?! How could He use me for ANYTHING after what I DID?!" 33 days after my 17th birthday, at a church winter camp for high schoolers, I heard the gospel. I listened. And I understood, repented and believed. I'm 20 now and in Dec. I'll be 21. I can't say believing in God has made my life easy, but it sure is more peaceful. For all those believers, keep serving and have confidence in the Lord. Look up what God said in Jeremiah 32:27. For all those unbelievers who say God can't change them, Jeremiah 32:27. Try it. No one can stop God. If they were able to, Jews and Christians wouldn't exist. But guess what...they do exist. Because He exists. And He Will Return.

And believe me, this is the ONE and ONLY way to heaven, no matter what anyone else might say!! If anyone tries to tell you that there are other ways to heaven, just ignore them, because that's SATAN influencing what they are saying! Everyone who has not accepted Jesus is influenced by satan to some degree - some much more than others. Even Born Again people are also influenced by demons, but they have God to help them to resist those temptations and influences when they come!
How to Be Sure You Will Go to Heaven!
This is kind of long, but you do want to know what you are doing and why you are doing it, right? This is why I went into this much detail - to tell you about what you are doing when you pray the prayer below, to accept Jesus and become spiritually reborn! So PLEASE, PLEASE read it all and then pray the prayer at the bottom, and then let me know when you have prayed it!
To be SURE you will go to heaven, you must become "saved" (truly spiritually reborn, also called Born Again). You are basically, totally submitting and committing your heart and life to Jesus, and promising to serve Him by following His teachings, in the Bible, forever!
In return God gives you eternal life in heaven, when your body dies (as long as you stick with Jesus), gives you a spiritual link to Himself, so He can help you, guide you, and teach you for the rest of your human life. He also writes your name in the Book of Life in heaven (on judgment day that book is opened, and anyone whose name is NOT found in the Book of Life, will be sent to hell).
So to become Born Again, first of all you have to confess and admit you are a sinner. Then you repent of your sins (means two things - first you are totally sorry for all your sins, and second, you have to be totally WILLING to turn away from your sins and sinful ways of living, and turn TO God's ways of living, as He tells us in the Bible).
Totally stopping sinning is impossible for us humans to do, because we are human, but we have to be WILLING to stop, and then God will help us cut way down on our sinning!
The reason it's impossible for a human to not sin, is because we live in a fallen body and a fallen world. That all happened in the Garden of Eden, when Adam first sinned. God had given Adam dominion over all the world, but when Adam sinned, Adam forfeited that dominion over to satan, and satan remains the "god of this world" to this day, and until Jesus comes back the second time.
Yes, the Bible actually does say that satan is the god of this world! The Bible tells us also that when we become Born Again that we are no longer of this world, but we are now citizens of the Kingdom of God and that we are really now ALIENS in this world!! All the world systems and governments are influenced greatly by satan, including the United States!!
So satan brought sin into this world, and we all inherit a "sin nature" into our bodies or our flesh (the combo of our mind and our soul). This sin nature makes us want to rebel against God and makes us want to do the will of satan, until we become Born Again.
When we become Born Again, God actually recreates our spirit and makes it brand new and spiritually connected to Him! Now you will get your prayers heard and answered!! He does this by actually coming to live inside your spirit, to help you, teach you, and guide you for the rest of your life, and then you go to heaven when your body dies (as long as you stick with Jesus and never leave Him, reject Him and stop believing in Him).
Our flesh does not get Born Again, only our spirit does, and our body does not change. So it's like a conflict and battle between our Born Again spirit which now wants to do the will of God, and our flesh, which continues just as it was before - wanting to do its own thing, plus it easily falls for the temptations from satan to sin.
So it's a battle we have to face for the rest of our human lives - until we shed this human body and get our new eternal body, just like the body Jesus had when He rose from the dead!! This is what we will have in heaven, for eternity, not just a spirit, but a brand new eternal body too!!
So it's OUR job to keep our spirit stronger than our flesh (in will power), so we will not fall for all the temptations to sin, that will come at us over time.
We do this by doing 4 things, after we are Born Again. Reading the Bible daily, praying daily, attending a good Bible teaching church regularly, and helping others (to ultimately result in helping them find Jesus and become Born Again, so they too can avoid hell and go to heaven)!!
The MOST important of these 4, for keeping your spirit stronger than your flesh, is to READ THE BIBLE DAILY!! The Bible (the Word of God), is like spiritual food for our Born Again spirit. We need to feed it regularly (daily) to keep it strong so that its will, will overcome the evil desires of our flesh! See what I mean? Of course it's important to do the other three things too!
See we are a three part being, just like God is in three parts. God is God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Each one is God and together they are ONE God! We don't have to understand how that works, just have faith and believe it, because the Bible tells us that's the way they are. So we humans are also in three parts, body, soul and spirit. Again take it by faith because this is what the Bible tells us!
Now back to the things you need to do to become Born Again.
Then, after you repent, you need to ask for forgiveness of all your sins.
Then tell Jesus you believe He died for the forgiveness of your sins, and that He rose from the dead to give you eternal life in heaven.
Also you need to tell Jesus you believe that Jesus, God the Father, and the Holy Spirit are one God, but three separate persons.
Then you need to accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, and invite Him, God the Father, and the Holy Spirit to come into your heart and life and help you, guide you, and teach you for the rest of your life!
You can do all of this in a prayer, which is below.
What the prayer below does, is it causes you to totally and completely dedicate, submit, and commit your life to Jesus and the Kingdom of God! That's why it's totally important for you to mean it with all your heart, when you pray it (read it out loud)!
Just read it over a couple of times silently, so you can see what it says, and then read it OUT LOUD, and mean what you are saying with all your heart, and you will INSTANTLY become spiritually reborn (Born Again), or "saved".
You don't have to keep your eyes closed, or memorize the prayer, just read it out loud and mean it with all your being! You may definitely want to save this message to your hard drive for future reference or give it to others to help them accept Jesus and also become Born Again so they can be in heaven with you!! Just copy it and paste it into a word processing program, and save it to your HD.
Jesus said in the Bible - John 3:3 - that unless a person becomes Born Again, he CANNOT see the Kingdom of God (heaven)!
Here's the prayer. It's called either "The Prayer of Salvation" or "The Sinner's Prayer". Some call it one and some call it the other name. This prayer is not in the Bible, but it's like a combination of the things the Bible tells us we need to believe and commit to, which are located in different places in the New Testament.
It does tell us that we need to confess what we believe about Jesus with our mouth, so this is why I say to pray it out loud and mean it. If you mean it, God knows it, because God knows our deepest thoughts, desires, and beliefs.
THE PRAYER OF SALVATION (or SINNER'S PRAYER)
Dear Heavenly Father,
I am ready to surrender my life to Jesus Christ. I cannot go on any longer trying to live my life for myself. I am ready to give my heart and life to Christ and surrender everything to Him and allow Him to lead me!
I confess that I am a sinner, and I'm truly sorry for all of my sins, I repent of all my sins and I am totally WILLING to turn away from all my sins, and I ask that You wash them away with the precious Blood of Jesus, and help me to change to your ways of doing things.
I believe with all my heart that Jesus is your Son, the Son of God, and that he died for the forgiveness of my sins on the cross, and that he arose from the dead on the third day, to give me eternal life in heaven with You, and he is alive right now along with You and the Holy Spirit.
I believe that Jesus and You, Father, and the Holy Spirit, are ONE God, and that each of you is God.
I invite Jesus, God the Father, and the Holy Spirit, to come into my heart right now and save me! I promise to live for and follow Jesus' teachings, all the remaining days of my life.
I believe I receive eternal life right now, and that my spirit has been reborn anew and is alive right now within me and in Christ! Father, I welcome You, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit into my spirit and my life right now!

Satan attacks the good. so if your life seems hard, when you are always trying to make good choices and do what is right know, as is says in the bible, the rewards that await you in heaven are greater than you can even imagine. keep up the good fight, and know you are not alone. Isn't it amazing how Jesus goes out into the fields and the hills, lOOking for His lost sheep. He spends So much time lOOking here, lOOking there, day and night. Then one day, He finds us. EXACTLY. The fact that so many dismiss Paul's story really frustrates me. You don't make that kind of a 180 degree change without a profound experience with the Divine the way Paul did on the road to Damascus.
But yes, praise God. This sounds very similar to the story of my grandparents. My grandmother brought my grandfather to Christ. My grandfather is now with the Lord but I'm glad to say that my grandmother is still with us at almost 96.

God loves us all. We are his children. This said, never forget that satan hates us. The bad in your life is caused by satan. He tests your faith every day.The more you are faithful, the more he dislikes you. He does not like that you are faithful to the Lord. Won’t Go to Confession
I am a priest in the Diocese of Plymouth in England, and for seven years I was the Catholic chaplain in a rather large local hospital there. One day as I was visiting patients, a man told me he did not want to see me. I said, “Okay, that is all right.” Each day as I passed his bed, I would greet him and then walk on.
On one occasion he called me and said, “Listen, if I wanted to receive the sacraments again after more than sixty years, I know I would have to go to confession and I cannot do that.” I assured him that going to confession would be quite easy, and that I would ask him the questions. We talked for a long time and finally he said he would go to confession. I made an appointment for him for three days later.
The following day as I passed his bed he called to me and said, “Sorry, but I cannot possibly tell you what I have been doing all these years. I won’t go to confession.”
I sat at the foot of his bed and asked him, “What are you afraid to tell me?”
To my amazement, he told me about all the sins he thought he could not tell in two or three days’ time! When he finished talking, I asked him, “Is there anything else you have to tell me?”
He said, “No, that is everything.”
I asked him if he was truly sorry for all these faults and failings be- cause he had now confessed everything! Then I told him about God’s love for him and for all of us. I gave him absolution and anointed him. He was so happy!
The next day when I went to the hospital, I was informed that the man had died during the night. All I could say was, “God is so great! His love is beyond understanding.”

He is Holy and can not be around sin BC he is a All consuming fire. For a long time I thought I would never be able to give myself to CHRIST evean though I believed he existed, because I had doubts about him really being the son of GOD. Until I read there have been many Christians, Priests even Apposites that had doubts at some point. I'm troubled because here's this guy who had all this impressive life, suddenly makes a change and hooray joy and he's saved.I was raised as a strict Christian, from a poor family, and I've never had anything to help me nor has my life ever had security or prosperity. Neither have I felt joy for all of my adult life. I have anger and frustration, and I pray mostly everyday and cry out... and still I linger, feeling alone, and hopeless.Some people like this guy just seem to get it all.

In Heaven people will make a cyrcle around Jesus and the more closer to the Jesus you done that means that you have done more. I don't know if you understand what I'm saying. Also, feeling alone and hopeless isn't what Christians should feel. You should feel joy and hapiness and peace with him. Have you been reborn?

And believe me, this is the ONE and ONLY way to heaven, no matter what anyone else might say!! If anyone tries to tell you that there are other ways to heaven, just ignore them, because that's SATAN influencing what they are saying! Everyone who has not accepted Jesus is influenced by satan to some degree - some much more than others. Even Born Again people are also influenced by demons, but they have God to help them to resist those temptations and influences when they come!
How to Be Sure You Will Go to Heaven!
This is kind of long, but you do want to know what you are doing and why you are doing it, right? This is why I went into this much detail - to tell you about what you are doing when you pray the prayer below, to accept Jesus and become spiritually reborn! So PLEASE, PLEASE read it all and then pray the prayer at the bottom, and then let me know when you have prayed it!
To be SURE you will go to heaven, you must become "saved" (truly spiritually reborn, also called Born Again). You are basically, totally submitting and committing your heart and life to Jesus, and promising to serve Him by following His teachings, in the Bible, forever!
In return God gives you eternal life in heaven, when your body dies (as long as you stick with Jesus), gives you a spiritual link to Himself, so He can help you, guide you, and teach you for the rest of your human life. He also writes your name in the Book of Life in heaven (on judgment day that book is opened, and anyone whose name is NOT found in the Book of Life, will be sent to hell).
So to become Born Again, first of all you have to confess and admit you are a sinner. Then you repent of your sins (means two things - first you are totally sorry for all your sins, and second, you have to be totally WILLING to turn away from your sins and sinful ways of living, and turn TO God's ways of living, as He tells us in the Bible).
Totally stopping sinning is impossible for us humans to do, because we are human, but we have to be WILLING to stop, and then God will help us cut way down on our sinning!
The reason it's impossible for a human to not sin, is because we live in a fallen body and a fallen world. That all happened in the Garden of Eden, when Adam first sinned. God had given Adam dominion over all the world, but when Adam sinned, Adam forfeited that dominion over to satan, and satan remains the "god of this world" to this day, and until Jesus comes back the second time.
Yes, the Bible actually does say that satan is the god of this world! The Bible tells us also that when we become Born Again that we are no longer of this world, but we are now citizens of the Kingdom of God and that we are really now ALIENS in this world!! All the world systems and governments are influenced greatly by satan, including the United States!!
So satan brought sin into this world, and we all inherit a "sin nature" into our bodies or our flesh (the combo of our mind and our soul). This sin nature makes us want to rebel against God and makes us want to do the will of satan, until we become Born Again.
When we become Born Again, God actually recreates our spirit and makes it brand new and spiritually connected to Him! Now you will get your prayers heard and answered!! He does this by actually coming to live inside your spirit, to help you, teach you, and guide you for the rest of your life, and then you go to heaven when your body dies (as long as you stick with Jesus and never leave Him, reject Him and stop believing in Him).
Our flesh does not get Born Again, only our spirit does, and our body does not change. So it's like a conflict and battle between our Born Again spirit which now wants to do the will of God, and our flesh, which continues just as it was before - wanting to do its own thing, plus it easily falls for the temptations from satan to sin.
So it's a battle we have to face for the rest of our human lives - until we shed this human body and get our new eternal body, just like the body Jesus had when He rose from the dead!! This is what we will have in heaven, for eternity, not just a spirit, but a brand new eternal body too!!
So it's OUR job to keep our spirit stronger than our flesh (in will power), so we will not fall for all the temptations to sin, that will come at us over time.
We do this by doing 4 things, after we are Born Again. Reading the Bible daily, praying daily, attending a good Bible teaching church regularly, and helping others (to ultimately result in helping them find Jesus and become Born Again, so they too can avoid hell and go to heaven)!!
The MOST important of these 4, for keeping your spirit stronger than your flesh, is to READ THE BIBLE DAILY!! The Bible (the Word of God), is like spiritual food for our Born Again spirit. We need to feed it regularly (daily) to keep it strong so that its will, will overcome the evil desires of our flesh! See what I mean? Of course it's important to do the other three things too!
See we are a three part being, just like God is in three parts. God is God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Each one is God and together they are ONE God! We don't have to understand how that works, just have faith and believe it, because the Bible tells us that's the way they are. So we humans are also in three parts, body, soul and spirit. Again take it by faith because this is what the Bible tells us!
Now back to the things you need to do to become Born Again.
Then, after you repent, you need to ask for forgiveness of all your sins.
Then tell Jesus you believe He died for the forgiveness of your sins, and that He rose from the dead to give you eternal life in heaven.
Also you need to tell Jesus you believe that Jesus, God the Father, and the Holy Spirit are one God, but three separate persons.
Then you need to accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, and invite Him, God the Father, and the Holy Spirit to come into your heart and life and help you, guide you, and teach you for the rest of your life!
You can do all of this in a prayer, which is below.
What the prayer below does, is it causes you to totally and completely dedicate, submit, and commit your life to Jesus and the Kingdom of God! That's why it's totally important for you to mean it with all your heart, when you pray it (read it out loud)!
Just read it over a couple of times silently, so you can see what it says, and then read it OUT LOUD, and mean what you are saying with all your heart, and you will INSTANTLY become spiritually reborn (Born Again), or "saved".
You don't have to keep your eyes closed, or memorize the prayer, just read it out loud and mean it with all your being! You may definitely want to save this message to your hard drive for future reference or give it to others to help them accept Jesus and also become Born Again so they can be in heaven with you!! Just copy it and paste it into a word processing program, and save it to your HD.
Jesus said in the Bible - John 3:3 - that unless a person becomes Born Again, he CANNOT see the Kingdom of God (heaven)!
Here's the prayer. It's called either "The Prayer of Salvation" or "The Sinner's Prayer". Some call it one and some call it the other name. This prayer is not in the Bible, but it's like a combination of the things the Bible tells us we need to believe and commit to, which are located in different places in the New Testament.
It does tell us that we need to confess what we believe about Jesus with our mouth, so this is why I say to pray it out loud and mean it. If you mean it, God knows it, because God knows our deepest thoughts, desires, and beliefs.
THE PRAYER OF SALVATION (or SINNER'S PRAYER)
Dear Heavenly Father,
I am ready to surrender my life to Jesus Christ. I cannot go on any longer trying to live my life for myself. I am ready to give my heart and life to Christ and surrender everything to Him and allow Him to lead me!
I confess that I am a sinner, and I'm truly sorry for all of my sins, I repent of all my sins and I am totally WILLING to turn away from all my sins, and I ask that You wash them away with the precious Blood of Jesus, and help me to change to your ways of doing things.
I believe with all my heart that Jesus is your Son, the Son of God, and that he died for the forgiveness of my sins on the cross, and that he arose from the dead on the third day, to give me eternal life in heaven with You, and he is alive right now along with You and the Holy Spirit.
I believe that Jesus and You, Father, and the Holy Spirit, are ONE God, and that each of you is God.
I invite Jesus, God the Father, and the Holy Spirit, to come into my heart right now and save me! I promise to live for and follow Jesus' teachings, all the remaining days of my life.

Could all be lies, but why do millions of us who can choose any religion or not choose to follow Christ? We could live like anyone else, selfish and defiant, but we humble ourselves to follow Christ for a good reason.. he laid down his life for us and we love him for it.
Free Dom Most people who were raised where I was raised are atheists like yourself, so not sure I can agree that the environment had anything to do with me accepting Christ. I wouldn't call it religion as such but accepting Jesus as Lord and following him. You can surely have a moral code as an atheist, but that doesn't mean morality doesn't originate from God whether you acknowledge him or not. Also, your morality will change over time probably with social norms and your own behavior. That's the danger and folly or selective/relative morality. A bit like writing an Exam, sitting it and grading it yourself. Who wouldn't pass that Exam? Everyone would. We need objective morality and that comes from God. Most religions copy the truth but add it some major lies to corrupt it. No one counterfeits real money to look different, but as close as possible to the real thing.

I asked Jesus to reveal himself to me and I didn't feel or see anything. I already believe in him and accept him as my lord and savior but I am very upset about not getting any results. I only became a true christian last year and I've believed in him 100% ever since and I still do believe in him for sure but I don't know why he didn't prove to me he was with me and let the holy spirit inside of me. I'm only young and I don't know everything about the bible, so I'm uneducated in this. Why didn't Jesus reveal himself? I feel afraid to keep asking him to reveal himself because maybe he doesn't want me or something and I'll just be annoying him if I keep trying all the time. I already watched the ending of your video 4 times now and done the prayer every time but haven't had confirmation that Jesus is with me. I repented my sins and I always ask for his forgiveness in deep emotion. I'm not sure what I've done wrong for him not to forgive me or not reveal himself to me. What should I do? +Marc Camilleri Sometimes we have to be very persistent with Jesus to get our answers. Just keep it up, and you will hear from Him! Here are the Bible verses about this - about keeping on knocking on His door. Read these over and over and mull them over in your mind. This will help build your faith that you WILL get an answer. One phrase I just recently heard watching a documentary on Padre Pio who suffered stigmata was 'Pray, Hope and Don't Worry'....and it reminds me and reassures me that God is always there for us through triumphs and tribulations, and so I pray to Jesus Christ, put my hope in God and try not to worry because I am by nature a worrier.

I was talking with my Son about becoming a believer as We drove to a heavy metal concert. He made some video that We watched the next day. We saw in His video 3 demons walking from the back to the front of the stage, but they were only visible as they passed though flames shooting up from the stage. We watched it in slomotion, He paused it and that left Us both speechless for the rest of the day. I brought my camera to his house the day after to copy his video but He had gotten scared and erased it. He now believes in Jesus.

I can relate to this situation almost the same. I was depressed, had anxiety, anger and even some hate. I went to doctors to get better from this and they gave me antidepressants which worked but not the way I had hoped and eventually they quit working. I was on anti-anxiety meds and they helped only when the drug was active and after years of all this I just started doing my own research because I really wasn't getting better. I had come to the conclusion that maybe some kind of evil was attacking me. I realized that there is more proof of Jesus than there is not. I just kept doing my research and decided to except Jesus into my life and heart and WOW! What a total difference in my life. I am not taking antidepressants or anti-anxiety meds anymore. I don't need them. I don't even need the doctors for this anymore. I am all the things this doctor is putting testimony on. Faith was missing in my life and it showed. Everything in my life is so much better now and Amen.

I know the bible says something about how you should marry someone with your same faith, but what if you married someone with a different faith, and that person changed like this man. +Kobe Bonhomme You are right. The Bible does tell believers in Jesus to not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, and it goes on to say, what does light have in common with darkness? The unbeliever will ALWAYS definitely be under demonic influence which will always be trying to tear up the marriage.
Sometimes a Born Again (a believer) spouse can convince her unsaved spouse to come to Jesus and become Born Again, but it's not likely to happen, or the Bible would not be warning us against that. In fact the Bible also tells us not to even be close friends with unbelievers. We all live in the world, and associate with unsaved people, but we should not be close friends with anyone in the world who is not Born Again. Acquaintances yes, close friends no.

This is kind of long, but you do want to know what you are doing and why you are doing it, right? This is why I went into this much detail - to tell you about what you are doing when you pray the prayer below, to accept Jesus and become spiritually reborn! So PLEASE, PLEASE read it all and then pray the prayer at the bottom, and then let me know when you have prayed it!
To be SURE you will go to heaven, you must become "saved" (truly spiritually reborn, also called Born Again) - you have to repent of your sins (means two things - first you are totally sorry for all your sins, and second, you have to be totally WILLING to stop sinning). Totally stopping sinning is impossible for us humans to do, because we are human, but we have to be WILLING to stop, and then God will help us cut way down on our sinning!
The reason it's impossible for a human to not sin, is because we live in a fallen body and a fallen world. That all happened in the Garden of Eden, when Adam first sinned. God had given Adam dominion over all the world, but when Adam sinned, Adam forfeited that dominion over to satan, and satan remains the "god of this world" to this day, and until Jesus comes back the second time.
Yes the Bible actually does say that satan is the god of this world! The Bible tells us also that when we become Born Again that we are no longer of this world, but we are now citizens of the Kingdom of God and that we are really now ALIENS in this world!! All the world systems and governments are influenced greatly by satan, including the United States!!
So satan brought sin into this world, and we all inherit a "sin nature" into our bodies or our flesh (the combo of our mind and our soul). This sin nature makes us want to rebel against God and makes us want to do the will of satan, until we become Born Again.
When we become Born Again, God actually recreates our spirit and makes it brand new and spiritually connected to Him! Now you will get your prayers heard and answered!! He does this by actually coming to live inside your spirit, to help you, teach you, and guide you for the rest of your life, and then you go to heaven when your body dies (as long as you stick with Jesus and never leave Him, reject Him and stop believing in Him).
Our flesh does not get Born Again, only our spirit does, so it's like a conflict and battle between our Born Again spirit which now wants to do the will of God, and our flesh, which continues just as it was before - wanting to do its own thing, plus easily falls for the temptations from satan to sin. So it's a battle we have to face for the rest of our human lives - until we shed this human body and get our new eternal body, just like the body Jesus had when He rose from the dead!! This is what we will have in heaven, for eternity, not just a spirit, but a brand new eternal body too!! So it's OUR job to keep our spirit stronger than our flesh (in will power), so we will not fall for all the temptations to sin, that will come at us over time.
We do this by doing 4 things, after we are Born Again. Reading the Bible daily, praying daily, attending a good Bible teaching church regularly, and helping others (and helping others find Jesus so they too can avoid hell and go to heaven)!! The MOST important of these 4, for keeping your spirit stronger than your flesh, is to READ THE BIBLE DAILY!! The Bible (the Word of God), is like spiritual food for our Born Again spirit. We need to feed it regularly (daily) to keep it strong so that its will will overcome the evil desires of our flesh! See what I mean? Of course it's important to do the other three things too!
See we are a three part being, just like God is in three parts. God is God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Each one is God and together they are ONE God! We don't have to understand how that works, just have faith and believe it, because the Bible tells us that's the way they are. So we humans are also in three parts, body, soul and spirit. Again take it by faith because this is what the Bible tells us!
Now back to the things you need to do to become Born Again. Then, after you repent, you need to tell Jesus you believe He died for the forgiveness of your sins, and that He rose from the dead to give you eternal life in heaven. Also you need to tell Jesus you believe that Jesus, God the Father, and the Holy Spirit are one God, but three separate persons.
Then you need to accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, and invite Him to come into your heart and life and help you, guide you, and teach you for the rest of your life!
You can do all of this in a prayer, which is below.
Just read it over a couple of times silently, so you can see what it says, and then read it OUT LOUD, and mean what you are saying with all your heart, and you will INSTANTLY become spiritually reborn (Born Again), or "saved".
You don't have to keep your eyes closed, or memorize the prayer, just read it out loud and mean it with all your being! You may definitely want to save this message to your hard drive for future reference or give it to others to help them accept Jesus and also become Born Again so they can be in heaven with you!! Just copy it and paste it into a word processing program, and save it to your HD.
Jesus said in the Bible - John 3:3 - that unless a person becomes Born Again, he CANNOT see the Kingdom of God (heaven)!
Here's the prayer. It's called either "The Prayer of Salvation" or "The Sinner's Prayer". Some call it one and some call it the other name. This prayer is not in the Bible, but it's like a combination of the things the Bible tells us we need to believe and commit to, which are located in different places in the New Testament. It does tell us that we need to confess what we believe about Jesus with our mouth, so this is why I say to pray it out loud and mean it. If you mean it, God knows it, because God knows our deepest thoughts and beliefs.
Dear Heavenly Father,
I am ready to surrender my life to Jesus Christ. I cannot go on any longer trying to live my life for myself. I am ready to give my heart and life to Christ and surrender everything to Him and allow Him to lead me!
I believe with all my heart that Jesus is your Son, the Son of God, and that he died for the forgiveness of my sins on the cross, and that he arose from the dead on the third day, to give me eternal life in heaven with You, and he is alive right now along with You and the Holy Spirit.
I believe that Jesus and You, Father, and the Holy Spirit, are ONE God, and that each of you is God.
I confess that I am a sinner, and I'm truly sorry for all of my sins, I repent of all my sins and I am totally WILLING to turn away from all my sins, and I ask that You wash them away with the precious Blood of Jesus, and help me to change to your ways of doing things.
I invite Jesus to come into my heart right now and save me! I promise to live for Jesus all the remaining days of my life.
I believe I receive eternal life right now, and that my spirit has been reborn anew and is alive right now within me and in Christ! Father, I welcome You, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit into my spirit and my life right now!

+Kobe Bonhomme To answer your original question. Yes. God works in mysterious ways. He turns many messes into beautiful messages for those who repent (truly acknowledge their mess/sin and apologize wanting to change). People find God in many different times of their life, or rather I should say that God calls for his people at different ages of their life. 1 Corinthian 7:12-17 talks about how your husband or wife may be saved because of you. So it's encouraged to stick it out with love (which patience is involved), however if they want to divorce you let them leave because we should not cling to rebels against God. But God has taught us patience and we should be an example. I pray the best for you in your journey to God. It is not complicated, but it takes pursuit! Like in making a new friend or building a relationship... you put time and care into that! So reading the bible is like getting to know God, and prayers are your conversation. 😊 I like to suggest starting with John!

You've raised numerous points and objections about Christianity, but it begs the question in my mind - why are you watching/ searching for these videos on You Tube if you feel strongly against it? What has motivated you to go actively searching for this video?
To be honest, all of your questions/ objections can be answered, albeit some of them more easily than others. Why religion linked to region is irrelevant fundamentally, and commits the genetic fallacy if you conclude anything about the legitimacy of a specific religion from this.
If you really wanted, and you read across a variety of good quality resources you could find - like many others - a lot of the answers to the questions and doubts you have.

It interests me how people are magnetised to Christianity despite seemingly rejecting it, and keep coming back on to forums and websites like this one...
Because one cannot reject something without hearing different opinions. So this video about a doctor (my very own profession) becoming a Christian obviously interested me. But it disappointed me. And no, of course I didn't only consult the bible. I consulted history books, science books, writings of Thomas Aquinus, Goethe, Kant, and other thinkers about the matter aswell as many apologetics' arguments. And currently I am looking into the qur'an. This is all to try and understand the vast majority of people on this planet who seem to be convinced but have yet to convince me. And of course it is important that religion is linked to locations. Because it shows me that most people don't choose their religion because they made an educated decision. They were simply raised with it and never questioned it. And if they really do question it many come to the conclusion that it's not true. Why else would Atheism be one of the fastest growing minorities in the US. If there are so many answers, why don't you go ahead and present me with some. Because I truly want to understand.

Evidence of salvation is not a transformed life; it is fully believing that Jesus died for your sins, and accepting His sacrafice, a free gift. If we look at our own actions for evidence of salvation, we will always doubt because we will not be perfect in this life. It is not about anything that we do; but what Jesus did for us. We do not contribute in any way to our own salvation.

OF COURSE we are to get sin out of our lives, but we must the DESIRE to get sin out, and God gives us that DESIRE when we become truly spiritually reborn! joel10000a So how transformed does our life have to be? We still sin. If you say you don't sin then you have the sin of pride. Yes, we have a new nature but that doesn't mean that our sinful nature went away. We will always struggle with that. I know very good people who do good things: you would think they have a transformed life; but they aren't saved if they haven't placed their faith in what Jesus did on the Cross. They think their works have something to do with their salvation.

Nothing else to it! It is like a prisoner that asks to be pardoned from the death row and his petition is granted! Will he live a perfect life after that? Who knows, but he is and remains pardoned! You are right, several denominations and Catholics believe that their good works, plus their confirmations get them to heaven! Many times people don't really mean what they say in their confirmations, because those are forced on them by their parents and the church, thus it wasn't voluntary, and so they didn't really mean what they confirmed to! Others believe that them getting baptized as an infant gets them to heaven! Also others believe that believing Jesus is real and getting baptized (at a time beyond being a baby), will get them to heaven! None of that is true!
Just get out and do something to help others, for the purpose of leading them to Jesus - that's what He wants ALL Born Again believers to do!! If you aren't doing something, you are doing NOTHING for Jesus!

when i finally broke down when i wasnt sure to believe or not because of all the reality and lack of spirituality. I screamed a prayer , practically demanding to know if he was real. Out of all the prayers i have ever prayed i would have to say. For him to answer my demanding prayer in a dramatica way a church . i walked out of that church feeling the same way because i know.....he is real very very real he has changed the way i think .

Prayer, when you are asking for the Lord's help, even if you are asking for a sign that He's real, is not the same as a test. This is reaching out to God, seeking to know Him in order to fulfill your personal need for assurance.
What satan was doing, was tempting Jesus in an effort to get Him to make a mistake. It was a challenge. Satan certainly wasn't innocently asking Jesus for a demonstration that He is real; satan already knew that.
God definitely wants us to seek Him, and His help when we are in need. He is our heavenly Father, and we are His children. Just as an earthly parent wishes to give good care to their own children, God loves to respond to our needs spoken in prayer. He is extremely pleased when we do so.

I'm a Christian and I feel the changes in my life. I use to be addicted to porn but now I'm less addicted but not fully free from it. Ever now and then I keep going back in some way. Back then I didnt care much on my faith but when I did the less I cared on porn. I feel like the change for me is taking SO long and I really wanted it out of my life fast. I know I should have patience but man I do wish I can rid myself from this now. I have a mental issue that makes it hard for me to focus so it might be that too that delaying my change.

Those phones are manned by mighty prayer warriors who know how to get their prayers answered, plus you are putting the prayer or agreement into action by two of you praying together and agreeing together about the matter being prayed for.
