Lmao you know this game isn't what was advertised and promised and yet you love to play the "oh yeah we fixed the game and everyone loves it" no bro the game is still a linear looter shooter story game not the open world rpg that was advertised and promised for years real ones know this game is mid at best.
@@CrowofYharnamhave you even played the game? it has a linear cinematic main storyline, set in an open world, where the player can choose where they take the action. the side stories are some of the best original content in the game. the world is like a collection of stories and the player gets to actively discover them through their actions. it is an action game, an arpg, so there arent life skills like fishing and cooking. it isnt a dating sim either. i dont know what else you want from an action rpg but you sound like a spoiled baby who's never had to work hard to create something before. you have the imagination of a fish. cp2077 is a technical marvel that got rushed out by greedy suits and investors. cdpr worked hard on the game and continued to work hard fixing it and even went above and beyond with the scale and scope of phantom liberty. millions of gamers are loving their time in cp2077. you not so much. that's your problem. just go back to playing CoD or madden and leave the more sophisticated games to the more intellectually-minded gamers.
It's heartwarming when you choose the Aldecaldos ending. I experienced this in version 1.0. So yes, cyberpunk 2077's magic has existed since the beginning.
@@FranklyGaming Cyberpunk is an lessons in philosophy about our own lives and future and how to spend what time we have left on this earth and that’s the brutal and harsh messaging in cyberpunk genre like this and Blade runner where towards the end you feel sorry for Roy Batty and the poetry that he said about tiers in the rain that was powerful that made him redeemed as an flawed character and that scene I love so much .
As someone who always held this franchise in high regard, even its less than ideal initial release in 2020, I will always appreciate your unconditional love and support for this game.
Most people are haters. Looking or things to cry about. Regurgitated thoughts. I definitely feel as though you are not only true to heart gamer but also person. Great reviews
@@spiritsplice You speak like a weak human being with no connection to other people. Maybe you're just not as insightful as you think you are and she was dropping you the hints she didn't like you. I mean, that's what this lil outburst is about right? You projecting your weaknesses on others?
People that have played the tabletop rpg can appreciate this game. People that are solely video game people absolutely hate this game. Then there are the bandwagon people who hate it, then love it at the whim of the mobs. I love it because of the lore bits in the game.
The gunplay in Cyberpunk is some of the most finely tuned action I've ever experienced in a video game. That's one thing that always kept me coming back.
I love this game so goddamn much. I already considered it as one of my top 5 games, but it just continues to climb the more I think about it. It has a moment for every single emotion. Confronting the father/son braindance editors is just as rage inducing as the Aldecaldo campfire scene is serene. And finishing the game for the second time recently, I felt every scene just as powerfully as the first time I played.
It's a game I just can't stop replaying.. Every time I delete it a couple of months go by and I have to jump back in.. And I don't even mix up playstyles.. I've found my favorite V and just keep replaying her😂
This game, along with Disco Elysium are filled with so much love for humanity, for life, all without it going into something annoyingly idealistic or absolutely hopeless. The fact that everyone you've met sends you a message at the end shows you just how the littlest things can make all the difference in this world where nobody owns anything but their chosen family
You hit every single point, I love Cyberpunk and seeing you be just as passionate over WHY means so much to me. Like you, this has been declared my favorite game of all time. The world it builds and the relationships and friends you make along your journey in this game is unmatched.
@@imanv8355 well, mate, it s not a lets play. It s sort of a review and discussion video. Given you understand the difference, talking, explaining and discussing are a big part of those kind of videos.
About to break 1000 hours in this game, played and loved every iteration from release date.... And I still press the walk button, never fast travel, and get invested in the characters and story... easily still the greatest game world and story I've ever played
@goatcoffee honestly I got almost 250 hours out of my full playthroughs before the dlc. Although in full fairness I do stop to take photos quite a bit and like I said I let myself get wrapped up in the world and do things like, walk through areas that you wouldn't run through, only play on very hard mode, have pretty much all my hud turned off (500 or so hours at least even without the map), etc
@GORILLA_PIMP haha well I'm almost 40 so I gotta like slow old man games with quick bursts of action I guess haha, elite dangerous, kerbal, old jrpg's, etc. I try to keep up but even being someone who grew up on armored core games I struggled like hell to beat ac6
I was dying when this game came out. Everyone was pretty sure that I’d pass away in the new year, so I related to V’s story a lot. The story is beautiful and completely changed me as a person. Against all odds I managed to survive my illness and had to accept some things for what they are, kinda like some of the endings of the game. I’m grateful that this game came out during one of the darkest times in my life and it’ll always be my favorite game of all time.
Im glad someone made this video. "Cyberpunk is finally fixed" is the most frustrating, repeated commentary title of all time. The game has been a great one in its core from the start and for me atleast was completely beatable and enjoyable its FIRST week on PC. People seemed to ignore the endings and story by latching to the hate train due to its bugs and launch on last gen (which is fair) and only began to give the game a legit chance when the anime suceeded. Its just kinda annoying.
Bravo on this - I too felt the exact same way playing through the game since day one (granted, on a fairly high end PC). This game has always made me actually, for lack of a better word, feeeeel more than another. CDPR has always been phenomenal at creating missions with little to no combat that wreak of dense, emotional storytelling and CP2077 took this to another level entirely. Phantom Liberty expanded on this even more while patch 2.0 was just the icing on the cake.
I have played the game since day 0 on and off. The only point where I was unhappy with the game was the first week or two when it would actually crash on my PC and full of glitches like trees showing through buildings. After 1.2 or something like that it was pretty good despite not being what we had been promised. 1.6 was darn good and 2.0 is just really good, what it should have been at launch.
Absolutely amazing choom, I vividly remember the first time going to youtube to see how much everyone else was loving this game... three days of near straight playing after launch middle of covid lockdown and being met with a barage of hate... telling my friends to play it as it's one of the most best experiences I've ever had in gaming and being shut down with citings from videos and articles of how broken the game was. This was a beautiful love letter to a beautiful game that I will return to as soon as I finish phantom liberty xD
This is exactly what my friend has done to me, and now tears have been shed for this game. Already clocked in 100 hours and more are to come. Beautiful.
Well, I could not have said it any better. This game will go down as a Legend in the end. The stories of the characters, falling in love with Judy, riding the tank to freedom with Panam to that amazing sound track... just an amazing game.
This game is full of passionate emotions. The best of the best and worst of the worst, what so many of us deal with daily, with a point that moving forward means so much. There's scenes that blow your mind, make you cry, and remember that art truly makes us feel. This game reminds us that in an unruly and dangerous world, there is life and love. You're losing everything to find something better. This game also shows us that looks can be deceiving, and we need to look deep into every eye, every mind, and every soul. Great work, choom!
im the type of gamer who likes little details in the games, when I do missions I always get lost in exploring the scenery, I even look every npcs designs and dialogues. I won't deny I skip most of the missions dialogues but I always appreciate how game company's make this stories. It always amaze me that there are writers who can do that in games.
There's something about CDPR games that I just connect with like no other and that leaves me with a completely hollow feeling after I finish them. So glad to see the devs get the praise they deserve after Phantom Liberty.
Nightcity is like a west coast west side Chicago on crack hearing you describe the gunshots and shit in the background ngl coming from someone who grew up there
Hey man, great video! You’re not the only one to whom Cyberpunk was love at first sight. Before playing that game I wasn’t familiar with Cyberpunk as such and this game really blew me away and helped me to discover music and literature about Cyberpunk. I’ve already completed it 4 times and it still amazes me to this very day. I think it’s my second best favorite game next to Red Dead Redemption 2
@@francissalvator8729I’d say it depends what you like, but I think if you’re into the story and the lore go with Cyberpunk but if you like big open world games go with RDR 2 first
Cyberpunk is the game that changed my life. I'm fundamentally a different person after playing it, day 1, bugs and all. The fact that you picked Kerry's boat song to be the background music for this video shows that you know EXACTLY what I'm talking about.
Indeed, this game is the pinnacle of gaming for me. Cyberpunk 2077 is not yet another regular and forgettable story on the market of video games, but something more. It is that which brings joy every time it's booted up. It is that which lets us forget the troubles of our realities. It is that which many hold dear, describing it as the game that brought them out of darkness. Even if one does not share the same excitement and feelings as the aforementioned type of person, one cannot deny the game's potential to bring something meaningful into one's life. I truly loved playing Cyberpunk and still do. Not many companies have the ability to forge such impactful games. But to those that do, such as CD Projekt Red - not only with Cyberpunk 2077, but the Witcher Trilogy too - I salute them for their efforts and hope that they find it within themselves to never cease their aspiration of evolving.
"...and the World that they live in feels like it's own character, all to itself, one that will carry on with or without you." This is something sorely missing from modern AAA gaming and the most important quality I've come to expect from CDPR and their narrative driven worldbuilding as a Witcher fan. That's a massive accomplishment.
" life is not about blaze of glory, its about the quiet life, giving back to a world and city, even when it has taken so much from you " considering my current situation, You have no idea how much, how deep, how strong that hit me. but to be honest, i believe it gave me some kind of hope. Thank You!
I admit I stayed away from it from the heavy criticism upon release but soon after when I got a chance to buy it soon after...I regret every second I did not support it the moment it was announced. It has since become my favorite game of all time for all the same exact reasons you mentioned. Quite literally put my thoughts into words. I am incredibly proud of what CDPR has been able to accomplish with this resurgence. Incredible video choom❤ long live Night City!
You made the right decision. I bought this on day one and the hate was well earned. It was a broken, buggy mess and on previous gen consoles it was borderline unplayable to the point Sony even refunded store purchases (something they’ve never done before or since). The game today is incredible but the launch game was one of the biggest screw ups in gaming history. I feel like this video is strongly trying to gloss over what a catastrophe it was. But the developers stuck it out and turned a turd into gold which they deserve credit for.
I agree so much with how even before update 2.0 and Phantom Liberty, the game already had so much to offer. Full of great stories and choices that were impactful - Yes, maybe not world shattering, but impactful, because they made you think. A lot of the side quests and gigs and the choices within them remain with me to this day and I've been playing since launch. One example of that is a gig where you're tasked by a cop to retrieve a cctv footage for his investigation. Turns out, that cctv footage is of a murder he committed. The player would be presented with the choices of killing him, taking his bribe, or calling him out on it but not killing him. I chose to call him out on it but didn't kill him because I was a merc for hire after all, not some justice warrior, and I didn't want to disappoint my fixer, which is that cop's friend. Later on in the game, I walk in at a bar and found that cop there. I approached him and he started gloating about his promotion. That's when my choice of not killing him really hit me. Made me think if that fucker really deserved to live. There are many more gigs with impactful choices and moral dilemmas like that. Yes, it's not world shattering, Night City is still Night City, but it makes you think about life, your life, and how you make your choices. As for Phantom Liberty. After finishing the main quest, side quests, and all the gigs in Dogtown, I thought I was finished with the expansion, but much later on at a random location in Corpo Plaza, I stumbled upon a guy that I helped in one of the gigs in the expansion, and he was grateful but kinda irked that I didn't kill the person that's been harassing him and his buddy. I also received a text messaged from another person from one of the gigs in Dogtown after a few days when I thought I've finished all activities in the expansion. I've played so many great games. Mass Effect series, The Witcher 1-3, Ghost of Tsushima, Red Dead Redemption 2, etc but I've always thought Cyberpunk 2077 belonged to their tier even right after release on PC version, and now with update 2.0 and Phantom Liberty, it just solidifies it as my favorite game of all time.
Yea i was fighting with my friends over it! Its such a good Game since day one! Yea there were buggs and crashes but the fundation was there since day one! Im so glad and thankfull CD PR dont abondend this pice of art and made with PL and 2.0 this raw diamand to one of the best Games this year! And now my friends see it to! ♥️
I love the devs see this video. It’s a really touching tribute to a fantastic game. It’s so difficult to make a game like this, one that has an emotional impact that stays with you.
Just completed the Phantom Liberty today, cyberpunk was always my 2nd favourite game and now the expansion is cheery on the top . Never goona forget the MEMORIES attached to it.
@@andysokayi It may sounds weird , but I don't have any #1 now , I'm still searching (My favourite games) #1.............. #2 cyberpunk #3 Hellblade #4 GOW #5 gta sa
@@nansh7046 So for the moment, your #1 is Cyberpunk. Don’t be afraid of saying that. It does not mean that you don’t have the freedom to change your mind in the future. 🙂
No you're just delusional and the world only changed their mind when UPDATES happened, that's not the world catching on, that's the pathetic company catching on.
I completely and wholeheartedly agree with your intro. I got the buggy mess at release and worked through all the adversity and experienced the most amazing roleplaying experience of my lifetime to date. I played from childhood and always loved roleplay games of all sorts including some obscure titles (Paranoia and Cthulhu come to mind along with Shadowrun). I am in my 50's now and still love a good RPG more than any other type of gaming. The story the characters and the whole environment of Cyberpunk 2077 took me completely by surprise and I found in it the kind of roleplay experience I had not known since our weekly gatherings for one game or other where we all (six or seven of us due to occasional obligations for us all) really enjoyed the stories and the lives, trials and triumphs of our imaginary selves. This game singlehandedly brought back the wonder, feelings and pure magical immersion of a new Imaginary self. Thank you CDPR for working through the hard times and bringing childlike joy and the trials and triumphs so sorely missed by me in modern gaming.
I remember getting this game on release day and picked up a Johnny silver hand figure and guidebook for collection. I played it for a while on Xbox and never ran into a problem but life got in the way and I stopped playing. Idk why but I stopped playing until a couple weeks ago when I saw Phantom Liberty and decided to start over but on my new PS5. It’s literally my type of world and I love it to death. It is my favorite RPG of all time. And to add to this, I just finished the Edgerunners show and visited all of the locations in game and it just makes it so much more special. Cyberpunk will always have a special place in my heart. I’m pretty much at end game and max stats. It’s going to be my first game to get platinum on. That’s just how much fun it is. It’s so rich in story telling and character relationships.it’s very engaging and hard to put down. There is just too much to do lol last game I 100% was Assassins Creed Black Flag. It’s rare to find a game like this that is so addicting. Thank you CD Projekt Red for this, seriously.
Fantastic video. It's refreshing to hear someone express so many thoughts I agree with and even leave me appreciating the opinions I disagree with. It always broke my heart hearing so many people crap all over this game, especially when at its core it's always been a masterpiece. The story, characters, dialogue, and setting of cyberpunk are unmatched in my own opinion. It's great to see this gem finally getting the love and appreciation it deserves.
The thing with Cynthia, is that if you handle that situation negatively, she will give you the coldest shoulder later in the game when doing the Phantom Liberty quest. If you successfully patch things up between her and her hubby, she will greet you with open arms later. I won't say where or what exactly. But there are consequences (albeit small ones) to how you handle that situation.
@@FranklyGaming We are honoured and humbled by this admission Lord Frankly. I wish you glory and success with the channel. Your passion is palpable. I too have come round to Cyberpunk in time, though the game does depress me quite a bit. I hope one day you can do this full time!
Right on dude. Agree with everything. Beautiful affecting experience. Such a great world to get lost in… love the lore and the huge effort cdpr put into this. You too man. A Great tribute.
The same people who defended Bethesda all those years and praised BG3 as game of the decade despite its many issues refused to give the same courtesy to this one. Shameful.
BG3 is excellent, but it has horrifically bad UX issues nobody seems to talk about. Does my head in how it gets a pass on everything - was hoping the wider gaming community would grow up and learn to spot issues over time... It's gone the other way. Folks are more influenced by hype than ever.
Just completed this amazing game the other day. The ending with my V and Panam as a couple riding off into the sunset with their family has so much hope for the future written into it! With Misty‘s tarot card reading, Panam’s contacts to help V, and all the other signs pointing towards them being able to find a cure for V is awesome! I hope we get to continue their story together. In my mind, they found the cure for V and they went off and lived a happy life in love, and with all their loved ones. Johnny being reunited with Alt is a fitting send off for him too. I just love these characters so much! I hope for a bright future, and to see them again!
This is the only open world RPG game where I have done 7 play throughs within 3 years of release. Working on my 8th play through right now. Such a great game.
Having people go from asking "isn't it trash/broken?" whenever I brought up cyberpunk at launch and years beyond. To being shut down/barely acknowledged for my love for it - to being met with similar excitement or genuine curiosity nowadays it is simply jarring. This video put my feelings into words - the core of this game has always been there. If you were lucky enough to notice and bask in it instead of looking out for the bad and sinking into criticism- you too know this game has always been what it is now, albeit rightfully improved now. I cannot replicate the feelings I felt at launch for this game - utter awe and starstruck. Seeing everything for the first time. I fell in love in every sense of the word. I am finally getting a ps5 in a few days and I hope that when I return to this game on next-gen I am able to feel something similar :).
finally. ive grown tired of people just critisizing cyberpunk when theyve obviously never played it. the entire video is basically me playing the game even on day 1 (pc). i was so confused, it seemed like everyone else was playing something entirely different. ive put it 500+ hours and the game is definetely my number 1 now. great video, keep it up choom
the suicide ending was really sad but really good at the same time, I feel like it did a really good job of showing the cost of suicide to the people around you.
Seeing this after "The Most Profound Questions Ever Asked in Games" being the first video I watched from you feels like things coming full circle. Its just sad that cyberpunk keeps being, well, sad. Its great but man it keeps getting me. No Coincidence is also a good novel in the world of Pondsmiths Cyberpunk. Can recommend the Audiobook, read by fem V's VA.
Although I personally always saw Johnny as a true hero rather than a maniac, I 100% agree with absolutely everything else you've said. Great video mate!
Modern game design philosophy: 1) Release unfinished, buggy product to make quarterly earnings, 2) Have your beta testers (customers) perform QA for free, 3) Release patches/DLC to bring game up to where it should have been years ago at launch. "Better to ask forgiveness later than permission now".
I think games are just so complex and such a high risk now it makes sense to an extent. For example baldurs gate 3, probably the best rpg of all time, was 3 years “early access” for full price
@@nd7783 I think that’s irrelevant the price was the same which is what really counts in the end. I agree tho there is a reason it’s fine in baldurs case for sure have to be upfront
I know how you feel about the game. I kinda had an "unfair advantage" of loving this game. Only cause i got into cyberpunk stuff after i saw Blade Runner 30 years ago and became damn near obsessed. 2077 let me finally live my dream of living in a blade runner-esque world. 😄
This video comes close to echoing all my thoughts I had while experiencing this game for the 2nd time, taking absolutely everything in. Cyberpunk 2077 really is something special.
I think if patch 2.0 was the launch version of the game, i wouldn't have endeared myself so much to it. My first playthrough was focused on story and characters, so i got to know the world and got a feel for all the players in that world. My next playthrough was playing with different responses, actions, and outcomes. When 1.5 dropped, I had my play style figured out and was full-on in immersion. I've been playing a new file since 2.0 went live and there is a lot here I don't know i would have noticed or appreciated had it all been there day one.
Ya there is a special sense of appreciation you get as someone that played it day 1 for sure I think, that if you just started now you might now realize
My favorite part about this game is the music. And the music was the reason why this game received so much hate on release. Many people, who only watched walkthroughs on youtube or twitch and didn't play the actual game, were literally watching game without any music, because streamers played in "streamer-mode" where almost all music was muted because of copyright. And so streamers themselves had a bad opinion on the game without realizing how beautiful it actually was. This issue was lasting for around a month, then it was fixed and "streamer-mode" was removed from the game.
Couldn’t agree more. I was in Absoulte disbelief in some parts at how engaged I was in the world. Haven’t felt that emotionally connected to a game in over a decade.
2 mins in, I can confirm that you played Cyberpunk before The Witcher 3. If I had as well, I would agree with everything you said. But personally TW3 spoke to me more as a person
Cyberpunk 2077 has the world I fell in love with starting from it's launch, but the constant challenges of it's broken state masked the beauty it definitely posses. Now that all the brokeness has been minimized to it's least along with the arrival of the expansion. it's beauty shines. One thing I feel like CDPR missed though. No official flying vehicles or mechanic. mod is good, but mod is to a point not enough. Still Love the game, been having multiple playthroughs throughout the year.
Ya flying vehicles in the sequel would be awesome, one issue is it would make the art on the ground less noticeable if you are always flying around. Maybe only let players unlock it after super late game
@@FranklyGaming Definitely lategame where you can acess flying with ease, such as modified personal AV or modified/customized car that flies. But throughout the early to half pats of the game, just limit it's access like only being able to access it on AVs & stations of Flying transportation & they can make the combat around flying vehicles as interesting as Ground vehicular combat. It'll also be good if they'll make the Crystal Palace available or even just small part of it. Flying vehicle such as Rockets can be viable on getting up there. & I hope it won't be too much to have at least level section, mission, Setpieces that'll set in the Moon colonies if viable. There's just a lot they could expand on this world whilst still setting it on Night City for the second game. But after Cyberpunk 2077 release, I'll prolly expect less to not get my hopes up. As long as it's more improved, more expansive than the first game, Narrative, Atmosphere & gameplay wise I'll be down for Cberpunk 2.
i just play cyberpunk recently on pc, for me if u want to see the immersive when u're in a peace state like walking through the city and looking at the npc routine its not that immersive. but if u played at least hard difficulty, its a different story... u'll find maelstrom randomly chasing u more ofthen then normal difficulty, or find urself in the middle of car chasing like first episode of edgerunner anime and dogtown being more like how dogtown supposed to be when vdb scav and barghest shooting eachother in the middle of the town (other than fight for lootdrop). for me thats the immersive i was looking for in the city like Night City
This game is the first in my lifetime to move me to tears several times for several reasons. I had happy tears, sad tears, and even tears from laughing so much at certain points. It is the best single player experience I have ever had. Part of its magic is how often i read about the experiences of others online being ENTIRELY different from my own while being 100% valid. It is a master-class in writing/character building when people playing the same game can have powerfully different reactions to the same material. Great video, cheers!
Look i understand what you say and i feel it but still, if they havent been called out hard we wouldnt have the game we have now. Dont give cdpr a pass because the game is great now, they fuked up all they get is my interest for the next project but i will always think twice before pre ordering anything from them again (or any game as a matter of fact)
This game, hands down, has the most seamless cutscene to gameplay animation that I've ever seen. There are games that have done it really well, like Jedi Survivor, but Cyberpunk is on a whole nother level.
Cyberpunk has ruined every other singleplayer game for me. Nothing compares. The immersion from not having cutscenes and everything flowing smoothly in first person is unmatched. The combat is insanely fun with gunplay and movement that is better than most multiplayer games. Every time I try to start a new game I just want to go back and play Cyberpunk again instead.
I'm still damaged and mending from some of the base game endings, almost half a year later, and couldnt start Phantom Liberty yet. Lets see if this video and your vaunt will help ;)
The thing is, I keep bouncing off of 2077 (since 1.0) but I WANT to love it. I literally just started another playthrough last night on stream so I hope I'll be able to feel the magic. Finally. Being legally blind sucks. But even I can see there was ALWAYS something there.
The "hate" was from the false advertising. It is NOT an RPG. It's an action game. The game on its own isn't such an issue, but let's be lucid. CDPR falsely advertised a highly interactive RPG brimming with reactivity and interactivity throughout. I've researched the 2018 reveal a thousand times and it's something we won't get from this game. Maybe CP2 will deliver that RPG dream.
do you understand what rpg mean? role-playing game (RPG) is a game in which each participant assumes the role of a character that can interact within the game's imaginary world. Many RPGs are set in fantasy or science fiction environments. Aint cyberpunk set from any of it?
Couldn't agree more. They lied a lot - that's the problem. This video talks as if people didn't like the game. People liked the game but it had millions of technical issues AND it wasn't what developers claimed it was.
I have to say, of all the stories in Cyberpunk 2077, I have a special affection for the one where Frank kept the dream alive until CDPR fixed the game enough that everyone else could see what he saw.
@@torphurus yes... its still buggy. If you disagree you are ignorant. It is muchh beter then before. But wonky stuff still happens all over. Cars randomly exploding once npcs get inside them. V having no arms in mirrors. Characters and npcs walking through through cars instead of around them etc etc etc. It happens less often. But it still happens!
@@TijnvanGimstcars randomly exploding when npcs get in them are car bombs. its a scripted dynamic event. its meant to happen. characters and npcs walking through cars are just so common across games like cyberpunk. its really not a big issue that doesnt affect gameplay at all. last time i checked V had arms in mirrors, idk what you mean. play the game, pay attention to the story, make a good build, explore the city, instead of trying to LOOK for the negatives. i think you might be the ignorant one with such a good game presented right in front of you.
What are you talking about, 'proved everyone wrong'? Everyone was right. Everyone was right as fuck for three years. Even now the game is more broken than would be ideal for a launch title... there were three entire missions so broken the game didn't even allow me to complete them. Yeah, it's great now, vastly improved, but that doesn't erase the past.
I found your channel only TODAY and boy I'm loving your content. There's something that just clicks with me and I can relate to what your ideas. ESPECIALLY when it comes to your thoughts about the Mass Effect trilogy and Cyberpunk. Cyberpunk has always been my fav game of all time above RDR2 or anything else I've played and ME trilogy is what comes second just because of world building and how great the story is (including the ending. it was great. idk why ppl hated it). TLDR there are many ppl out here like me who have the same beliefs as you and it's just refreshing to FINALLY see that someone else thinks the same despite how unpopular your thoughts are. you deserve at least 690K and not 69k subs fr. much love bro
I feel you choom. Not many games that i can call my favorite and Cp77 definitely one of them. I just can’t get enough of this world. With the release of PL I am closing to 900+ hours. I don’t know where i spent all of this hours (maybe gog count bugged out i dunno) but all of them was worth it
Honestly, 2077 will allways have a special place in my heart. It released about 9 days before my grandfather died. Its probably the only thing that helped me through that time. Yes i had one or two bugs during launch on my pc but the story, the characters and the music was amazing. i loved the game back then and i love it even more now.
Cyberpunk 2077 is quite frankly one of the greatest stories ever told, it just happened to be a video game. Mike Pondsmith said it perfectly, “Cyberpunk isn’t about saving humanity, it’s about saving yourself”.
Who remembers when the braindance headpiece actually flashed and blinked and didn't do a solid light? I think they changed that after the first 2 days of release.
I agreed with everything you've said here. I, too, been a player since launch day, and yeah, back then, it was a chore to deal with all the bugs and crashes (my game still crashes on the PS5 every now and then, but not constantly). But the story and characters all made up for it. I literally fell in love with the world, its setting, and it's characters. Hell, Panam became one of my favorite video-game characters ever, and if you ask me why, I can't quite tell exactly. Her personality, growth, and loyalty towards V and her family was just so, well... intriguing. I couldn't help but WANT to help her. In my playthrough, I ALWAYS romance Panam, and I always choose the Nomad ending. That's my headcannon for V's story. He sets out with Panam and the Aldecaldos to live out the rest of his life with people that care for him. Whether V finds a cure outside Night City or not is unconfirmed, but I'd like to think V either found a cure, or lived longer than expected. All the other endings aren't worth it in my opinion. Granted, I've never actually PLAYED the other endings. I've seen how they turn out on UA-cam, but I, myself, never choose any ending besides the Nomad ending, because that would break MY immersion. Because any other ending besides Nomad, that's not what MY V would do. My V always helps out the Aldecaldos. He ALWAYS helps out Judy. He was determined to help River find his nephew. He helped Kerry out with his issues (admittedly, my least favorite "friend request" gigs). He helped Blue Moon deal with that stalker. And he ALWAYS left NC with Panam and the Aldecaldos. Because in my eyes, leaving with Panam and the Aldecaldos is the happiest choice. From my experience (and my bias, IDC lmao), V and Panam complete each other. When they first met, both of them were at rock bottom with their lives; V doing anything and everything to live while Panam was lost and alone in Night City. After they both met, V and Panam began to rebuild their lives; V helps Panam reconnect with her family and Panam helps V with Hellman and gives him a new outlook on life; becoming a legend isn't worth losing your life or those around you. They literally pick up each other's pieces and put them back together, and both of them being together is just perfect. I'm gonna be honest; I got spoiled on the new ending, and I dunno if it's a "me problem" but I became SO FREAKING EMOTIONALLY INVESTED in the game's story, I legit suffered from anxiety for the rest of the day thinking about the outcome and my excitement soured a bit, because of how depressing it was. That's how this game affects me. I calmed myself down by thinking this ending is just a "what if" because my V would never sacrifice anything to save his life, especially his relationship with his friends and with the love of his life. As far I know, V always lives out the rest of his life with the woman he loves and a family that'll back up him forever and ever. In my eyes, V is the "exception to the rule" of Cyberpunk's world, where Mike said that it wasn't "about saving the world. It's about saving yourself". V is the exception. He saved so many people before he left NC (Judy, River and his family, Kerry, etc. etc.) V did what Johnny, David, and many others couldn't. He managed to walk away and get a "happy ending" despite it all. Johnny said "happy ending? For folks like us? Wrong city, wrong people". Sure, it's not the HAPPIEST ending, but by leaving NC, the city which Johnny said happy endings are impossible, V finally broke the cycle of tragedy by finding happiness in such a dark, bleak, world.
Moving to UE5 is the absolute best thing for Cyberpunk! Seriously, you have NOTHING to worry about. Literally ANYTHING is possible in UE5 now and it's only going to get better in the coming years. Everything else will come down to the ARTISTS crafting the world and the stories.
Thank you so much choom for this thoughtful video. Much love!

Lmao you know this game isn't what was advertised and promised and yet you love to play the "oh yeah we fixed the game and everyone loves it" no bro the game is still a linear looter shooter story game not the open world rpg that was advertised and promised for years real ones know this game is mid at best.
Thank you for crafting some of the absolute best quests video gaming has to offer
So true, and thanks for watching!
Would be if Panam wasn't a disgusting mutt.

Cyberpunk is an lessons in philosophy about our own lives and future and how to spend what time we have left on this earth and that’s the brutal and harsh messaging in cyberpunk genre like this and Blade runner where towards the end you feel sorry for Roy Batty and the poetry that he said about tiers in the rain that was powerful that made him redeemed as an flawed character and that scene I love so much .
I let Johnny live in my first playthrough.
As someone who always held this franchise in high regard, even its less than ideal initial release in 2020, I will always appreciate your unconditional love and support for this game.
Thanks for all the support along the way!
Most people are haters. Looking or things to cry about. Regurgitated thoughts. I definitely feel as though you are not only true to heart gamer but also person. Great reviews

People that have played the tabletop rpg can appreciate this game. People that are solely video game people absolutely hate this game. Then there are the bandwagon people who hate it, then love it at the whim of the mobs. I love it because of the lore bits in the game.
Cyberpunk to me just makes me realize just how important it is to live in the moment as your most genuine self
Yes. The way this game truly portrays how much small moments matter, and where enormous, over the top, ambitions lead, is just mind blowing
Same after diving more into it again with 2.1 and PL omg the lore is just rich
It really is just that good of a game and I’m happy others finally are seeing it too, thanks for watching!

About to break 1000 hours in this game, played and loved every iteration from release date.... And I still press the walk button, never fast travel, and get invested in the characters and story... easily still the greatest game world and story I've ever played
This is next on my play list. At what point (hour mark) did you stop getting side missions?

The story has always matter more to me than the gameplay and that’s why I loved this game so much. The music also helped.
100% agree here, I’m just happy it finally got the love it deserves though, thanks for supporting the channel!
My thoughts exactly
Feel. The operative word for this game.
The world, characters, history and facial expresions are alive.
And gameplay, action furious RPG, I do dont play GTA, because there is not this rpg flavor.
Thanks so much for the kind words!
Agree choom 😂
This is exactly what my friend has done to me, and now tears have been shed for this game. Already clocked in 100 hours and more are to come. Beautiful.
Well, I could not have said it any better. This game will go down as a Legend in the end.
The stories of the characters, falling in love with Judy, riding the tank to freedom with Panam to that amazing sound track... just an amazing game.
The best moments out there in games for sure
damn game has brought a tear to my eye more times than id like to admit
Really appreciate the kind words thanks for watching !
should I buy Cyberpunk or RDR2 first?
What im most amazed by this game is the "World building" everything just lines up like it's natural.
The world building and the architecture is the best part of the game it's high tier
"...and the World that they live in feels like it's own character, all to itself, one that will carry on with or without you."
This is something sorely missing from modern AAA gaming and the most important quality I've come to expect from CDPR and their narrative driven worldbuilding as a Witcher fan. That's a massive accomplishment.
There really isn’t any other world or city like it it’s insane how good of a job they did on that aspect
" life is not about blaze of glory, its about the quiet life, giving back to a world and city, even when it has taken so much from you "
considering my current situation, You have no idea how much, how deep, how strong that hit me. but to be honest, i believe it gave me some kind of hope.
Thanks so much for the kind words and support!
But the developers stuck it out and turned a turd into gold which they deserve credit for.
cyberpunk 2077 just saved my soul. I even built a lamp and refurnished my sleeping room to match that theme. Its just balm for our souls.
Last paragraph is my thoughts exactly too, it’s always been such a deep and meaningful game.
Thanks for the continued support!

So happy to see all the love for the game now too, and thanks for supporting my channel!
The thing with Cynthia, is that if you handle that situation negatively, she will give you the coldest shoulder later in the game when doing the Phantom Liberty quest. If you successfully patch things up between her and her hubby, she will greet you with open arms later. I won't say where or what exactly.

Seeing this after "The Most Profound Questions Ever Asked in Games" being the first video I watched from you feels like things coming full circle.
Its just sad that cyberpunk keeps being, well, sad. Its great but man it keeps getting me.

@@FranklyGaming baldurs gate 3 didnt lie about begin in "early access"and cp77 came out as a "full release" so this isnt the best example imo
@@nd7783 I think that’s irrelevant the price was the same which is what really counts in the end.
I agree tho there is a reason it’s fine in baldurs case for sure have to be upfront
You can find a video about Cyberpunk development. Some of problems was a problem with outsourcing QA to some company, which scammed them.
You put it quite beautifully. Especially the endings.
And yet cyberpunk stays cyberpunk: even compassion comes at a steep cost…
I know how you feel about the game. I kinda had an "unfair advantage" of loving this game. Only cause i got into cyberpunk stuff after i saw Blade Runner 30 years ago and became damn near obsessed. 2077 let me finally live my dream of living in a blade runner-esque world. 😄
This video comes close to echoing all my thoughts I had while experiencing this game for the 2nd time, taking absolutely everything in. Cyberpunk 2077 really is something special.
Such an amazing game, thank you for watching!
I just want it to be known, Jackie's trigger discipline was on point in that scene before him and v took on the scavs
wow this guys makes such well produced videos and damn is he attrractive
Couldn’t have said it better me
My favorite part about this game is the music.
I been here defending this game along with u since day one my guy lol
Can confirm lol
Couldn’t agree more. I was in Absoulte disbelief in some parts at how engaged I was in the world. Haven’t felt that emotionally connected to a game in over a decade.
Good stuff choom
Thanks as always choom
Orion could probably just import Night City and use the model, that’s how good the game looks now
As someone who has really struggled with depression at times, seeing the aftermath of that last ending was extremely powerful
2 mins in, I can confirm that you played Cyberpunk before The Witcher 3. If I had as well, I would agree with everything you said. But personally TW3 spoke to me more as a person
@@darthinkarnatus7264 ya definitely get that honestly sometimes your first run in with a specific style makes the most impact
They didn't prove anyone wrong though, they fixed their mess. Doesn't mean the backlash was undeserved or wrong.
Most people: "Wait, Cyberpunk 2077 is a good game now?"
Cyberpunk 2077, aiming the gun: "Always have been..."
Finishing cyberpunk 2077 and phantom liberty left me empty.. The way this game delivers its story is unmatched.
Same feelings here, never have ended a game with such strong feelings before, and thanks for supporting what I do!
This game, hands down, has the most seamless cutscene to gameplay animation that I've ever seen. There are games that have done it really well, like Jedi Survivor, but Cyberpunk is on a whole nother level.
Havent felt this empty after completing a game since blood and wine DLC. Damn you CDPR
They certainly botched it.
@@s3d843dude your comments make it sound epic lmfao
Cyberpunk has ruined every other singleplayer game for me. Nothing compares. The immersion from not having cutscenes and everything flowing smoothly in first person is unmatched. The combat is insanely fun with gunplay and movement that is better than most multiplayer games. Every time I try to start a new game I just want to go back and play Cyberpunk again instead.
tell em choom. say it louder, let the haters hear.
I'm still damaged and mending from some of the base game endings, almost half a year later, and couldnt start Phantom Liberty yet. Lets see if this video and your vaunt will help ;)
Prepare to be hurt again 😂
@@RoxasOrganizationXIIIwhat?
Couldn't agree more. They lied a lot - that's the problem. This video talks as if people didn't like the game. People liked the game but it had millions of technical issues AND it wasn't what developers claimed it was.
This video entirely changed my perspective about ending, thanks choom
Pointing out egregious false advertising = "hate and vitriol"
Usual defense of CD Projekt fans
I have to say, of all the stories in Cyberpunk 2077, I have a special affection for the one where Frank kept the dream alive until CDPR fixed the game enough that everyone else could see what he saw.
Proving someone wrong THREE years after you were supposed to, is not really proving anything. More like making up
dynamic narrative felt like i matter, thats all, and it means a lot for a game that aims to be immersive
Its better. But its still not there yet. Npcs are lackluster, just like most open world interactive elements. Also, its still a buggy mess.
have you played the game? and i mean play the game not just watched some reviews and pretend you have
@@torphurus yes... its still buggy.
@@torphurus i did rlly hurt your feelings did i? You are one ignorant child.
I play that game so many times. There's something about night City that I just can't stay away from. I love that game
Appreciate the kind words and support!
Other games are just a game, once over it's game over, Cyberpunk 2077 is an emotion that you always want to come back and experience.....
Cyberpunk 2077 is quite frankly one of the greatest stories ever told, it just happened to be a video game. Mike Pondsmith said it perfectly, “Cyberpunk isn’t about saving humanity, it’s about saving yourself”.
Dubai would be the ULTIMATE setting for a sequel.
