Love this arrangement! I can imagine this on an Impulse LP from the sixties! Andrea's singing has only gotten better since 2013, but I don't think her playing can get any better than this! I hope those old guys were as impressed as I was by her sax playing!
Big band music is alive and well in Spain. Some really brilliant solos with this super fine rendition/arrangement. I can't get enough of these guys and gals! Julie Andrews never sounded this good!

Motis is one of the brightest musical stars in many years - Rita Payes too. I'd be interested in hearing Motis play a different brand of soprano - I find the Yanis a bit one dimensional, and the best thing about her singing and trumpet playing is the variety and subtlety of sounds. Fabulous musician.
Incredibly avante garde tune which I normally do not prefer but this is great. Andrea's vocal is incredible for such a youngster. This is just an incredible band reminds me of Buddy Rich's 70's band.

Mis à part un petit problème de mixage au niveau des solistes,voici de nouveau une excellente interprétation de ce track bien connu avec comme d'habitude tous ces excellents musiciens que nous commençons à bien connaître, un excellent arrangement et notre Andrea avec sa voix de cristal qui "mouille sa chemise" pour nous offrir une interprétation étonnante,personnelle et pleine de risques de cette chanson qui, chantée sans originalité, n'est déjà pas si facile. BRAVO ANDREA pour cette prise de risques : tu arrives toujours à nous épater!!!

Sport Je ne savais rien faire Merci dieu de nous avoir fabriquer ce petit etre merveilleux Depuis allihya décédé dans un accident d avion en 2002 je n ai pas rencontré de personne de ce calibre Peace💙
Here’s an idea for Joan. There is so much footage of Ms. Motis, wouldn’t it be fun to edit a time lapse montage of her evolution from promising young talent to where she is now - a brilliant up and coming singer/instrumentalist. That would be great to watch and serve as an inspiration to show new players what can be accomplished with dedication and of course, talent.

Sweet Jesus this is big band perfection. Listen for the soprano sax solo by Andrea and the wicked trumpet solo by Jaume Peña. I am stunned with joy!
Fantastic, progressive arrangement of a classic. Andrea stretches and delivers on her solo. She has developed nicely. Love it.

I don't think that this is avant garde. Avant garde is like Eric Dolphy on Take the A Train, or Sun Ra on the song Shadow world.
