Fransisco Lindor seems like a genuinely good dude. Like a family guy. Glad he’s a Met.
People really want to bury Francisco when he's not going good, but can we just please take one moment and be grateful that we have this guy as the face of our franchise based on just who he is as a person? Always positive. Known for smiling. Fierce competitor. Since he settled in, never any drama. Hardly ever a missed game. Clearly a present father of a family that represents this organization so well. Clearly applies his family values to mentoring our young players. Charitable. Consistent. Accountable. Stands up for EVERY interview at his locker, even if it's after his third straight 0-4 while people are sending death threats to his wife. Has dealt with countless management and front office turnover since 2021 like a champ, and I know the Buck firing hurt badly. These are things that an organization, especially one with a toxic fanbase, needs out of their franchise player. This dude will be at least top 3 in total games played for this franchise when all is said and done. He's tied to our organization's history forever. No matter what. Let's just be happy he's a good person, who's also one of the best shortstops in the league...? every year? Idk what else he needs to give you in exchange for a scrap of support. "we should try cheering for him." Insane idea dude that's crazy. worth a shot I guess. Anyway sorry for the rant I just hate a large percentage of Mets fans sometimes. Nice video
