There's a much better way in chapter 6 side mission "Let's Make Our Armor Shine" where you get 2 cups at a time in a guaranteed spawn 25 seconds from the starting flag but nobody seems to know about it.
Yes, I found it thanks to you and the road is really not very long. Two cuts guaranteed, even in the first game, and in addition the level is already at 12 morality so you can use the speed buff, thank you very much.
ACTUALLY, i just tried the method. while you get cups really fast, there is no nearby flag, so you have to waste more time backtracking or going forward, in order to try again. tho i suppose you could die. so method 3 would still be better, especially if you got a lot of qi and don't want to die and lose them, and you get xp, for slightly slower run.
@@PWARGaming you can use mystic cane to teleport back to your latest battleflag, or you can simply die drowning into the water (i recommend this method of dying if you dont have Qi in your pocket)
For your Bulldozer build, i find that speccing into the metal virtue is a bit better. Shock lowers poison resistance and Guding blade scales best off metal, so if you apply shock with either lightning weapon or lightning enchant first you can easily apply poison right after. The gloves and helmet in this game are also the only pieces where they can get special effects, so you can apply power gain on fatal strike on your helmet and amplify damage on countering a critical blow. Pair that with 8 fire for amplify damage buff right before you fatal strike for massive amounts of damage.
true, but you lose fire ability spam to do good damage. while the rush attack and ki break is nice, the extra fire dmg really makes killing monsters faster, whereas poison wouldn't contribute much, neither lightning spells for that matter (lightning aoe spell is really slow in comparison). i did miss a power gain effect tho you're right
@@PWARGaming side note, Zhao Yun's spear scales off stone and the unique martial art deals decent stagger for the stone/heaviness accumulation route which lowers shock resistance. Vermilion axe is also a great option with fire main scaling.
Just so you know it doesn’t require morale to use certain spells anymore. All spells can be used at zero morale the number shown on the spells tab is the morale level at which the spell gets stronger. It’s not the requirement. It’s a bonus that you receive for that spell at that morale rank
Great summary vid, thanks for sharing :) Since this is a water build, I like to equip ice lance to quickly kill the sorcerer guys along the way. Sometimes they throw a critical spell behind my back which is really annoying.
My current xp farm is simple for me so at the war flames blaze fiercely map from the first flag u kill the 2 ppl that’s 2k xp then jump down into the pit after draining the water and u can one shot with sneak attack on the croc and get 9k so 11k in essentially 20 secs and go back to the top rest and repeat

Hope the game does better with patches and DLC, it isn't bad really... it has potential. Just very unfortunate that the PC port is so technically flawed - feel like it took all the wind out of the sails. I'd really like a 3 kingdoms series with this combat to make it, appeals more than the dynasty warriors mass combat to me.
You didn't mention one thing. Second method gives u a lot of Qi during the run . If u collect 3 Genuine Qi Clot during the run u easily get 15k Qi in one run . Considering it's less than 2 minutes it's one of the best method for farming Edit: Each run give u different amount of QI (probably depend on enemies who fall trying to get you) . Minimum i get is 8k , while maximum is almost 20k per run (without qi clot)
Does anyone know if the move speed buff scales with water virtue And water power? Or is it enough to have the required virtue points. If so does that mean that other buffs also scale with their respective virtue? Thanks
cool in what way? looks? there's some cool stuff. set bonuses? kinda basic junk tbh, 1 dmg stat usually and just spirit or other small effects. but endgame has some nice sets to cover each element well (graces)
cup farm? there'd be no point, since you have to reset the mission to respawn the loot. if you mean can you join others peoples games to get cups, i guess you can, but unsure, seems like it'd be slower either way
Im at 150 already but still earning Qi through kills. Sucks when I die and don't get it back, but you do still earn Qi as you would even if you're at 150.

So I never played other games by this studio but since there is pvp, are they likely to patch and nerf these methods you think? Like the Bulldozer build, the gator farm and so forth?
I never played nioh pvp much, but iirc it had its own scaling/whatever kind of thing. may be wrong. but they definitely nerf pve stuff often. idk how guding is in pvp, but you can parry skills, so it's stoppable on paper unless someones tested it. guding is likely to get adjusted ngl, so make use of it while you can. as far as farm stuff i don't think those will be patched. its just normal xp farm, and the cups only go so far till they become useless. altho dlc might bring more reinforcements, so stock up a little extra in case

On the 4th method, you can jump off boat and grab a Genuine Ki Crystal (10k) left of big guy, then die by him.

Random tip: you can jump and grab ladders in midair. Just a friendly psa.

Stealth isn’t the reason to go water.
It makes deflections 20% easier which to me is OP in a game so focused on them.
it makes deflection cheaper, not easier.
@@Sothgar being able to deflect more often means you don’t have to be as precise so it is essentially easier just by being less costly.
you can jump and press interact to grab onto ladders at any point in the air, its much smoother.

I think so . They nerfed even some pve stuff in nioh 2 so its even more likely they watch pvp very careful
