Do you think this Wo Long is better than nioh 2? I'm thinking about buying it but I don't want to end up getting a lackluster game that don't match nioh 2 greatness.
Oh my god. I’ve been farming the monke for days for the ranged weapon grace but now you saved my skin with that chest. Kudos to you sir, liked and subscribed
Hot tip for farming Lu Bu set: in New Game Plus, on the mission Lu Bu Mightiest Warrior. Once you defeat him, check your drops on the side QUICKLY to see if any 5 star dropped. If it didn't, close the game before the prompt to repeat the mission or return to the village pops up, and launch the game again. If done correctly, you'll be right on the flag before the boss and you can try again. I've farmed his entire 5 star set in 3 hours doing this, with only 100 luck and the dragon spirit.
@@NL_the_Godfather it is too much. That's because once you get one piece you need to clear the mission again, you can shave it off some time. With 80 luck or so you can pretty consistently get 1 piece every 3 kills
I have to say I was expecting a new game plus like nioh and I'm just a little disappointed how quickly you completed all the missions, it took me 27 hours for my first run and I did them all. It could have been a little longer...

If you use Amplify Damage before Overpower burst then use Ominous Chill right next to the ape when it spawns it's a one shot. For some reason you do a lot more damage than if you were to use overpower burst before amplify damage. Idk why it works, but I tried it like 50 times just now and it's pretty consistent.
I always have to use 3 to kill, only a few times have I been able to 2 shot him. I tried this method and got the exact same results so I have no idea what I’m doing wrong

Definitely hoping they give us a crafting method to boost star level, I don't even care if it's stupid amounts of items to do, still better than grinding out and hoping for a maybe drop.

Using this build with 232 luck and an A+ drop rate from 155 items dropped 111 were pink, 32 yellow and 12 green. 3 of the green were weapons and 2 accessories. Good luck everyone .That was from repeating the mission 52 times lol
Trying to farm a specific weapon with specific martial arts and grace is just absolute rng cancer, i wish they added ways to transfer grace/martial arts...

have they ever heard us? don't think they do, maybe once with adding a yasakani mission, and the tempering system back in early nioh 1 after people complained. i guess they did let people skip cutscenes in latest patch, so who knows.
@@PWARGaming they listened in response to the demo about heal times being too long and parry window being to small. So it’s possible post launch they will care. Maybe Fightingcowboy can drop them some hints since he was at the Xbox gameplay preview doing the event for them.
U can get an even better drop rate of higher star gear if u lower your moral rank to 15. The lower ur moral rank is compared to an enemy your fighting, the better the drop rate and chance.
I found a better farm for grace gear. Go to part 4 realm of battle. Youll fight 2 of 4 possible NPCs. Each NPC has a guaranteed drop of Dong zhuo gear, white Cavalry or yellow turban and liutenant general gear. They will not drop gear set items related to your allies. Only grace gear (provided you have good luck) its soo much better than the monkey who drops everything. Good luck
it took team ninja a few months after releasing the final DLC for Nioh 2 for them to FINNALY Increase the Drop % of EVERYTHING significantly reducing grind. hopefully they do that quicker here.

@@PWARGaming I miss the loot splosions. I was going to make your luck spear build back then before they nerfed it I think. I'll amend what I said then. Besides Nioh, I don't really believe I have witnessed a good luck stat or feature in a game.
I've had 222 luck and I've gotten like six 5 stars. And it's crazy how many 1s, 2s, and 3s I get. Not even 4s. This game's luck is garbage. But the accessories have been easy 5 stars but crap affixes.
And here I am wondering wtf is going on in this game, I just finished NG, all missions in 25 hours, with 3 elixir and no upgrades for it. I had no fucking clue what 99% of the items and stats did, and I played Nioh & Nioh 2. I don't know what they did but the UI is horrendous. Mind you I was around lvl 100, 3 elixir didn't even recover my full HP bar. I mostly used the regen spell for HP.. Now that I have NG+, I started the first mission, I looted the QI flake that gives you 100, it shattered my expectations. I probably won't play NG+, but thank you for the video.
You can reroll faster, by the last battlefight against yu ji, i dont know the Name of the battlefield in english but its chapter six the 2. Battle, beat the first Boss and next the Boss there is a battle flag go to the battleflag, turn around jumper down give the panda 🐼 your item and if you didnt want it, close the game and start it again, then you can go to the panda again and if you do the farm for crossbows than its easyer to beat the dragon with lightning, go to the battleflag and then run to the chest, open it and if you didnt want your crossbow close the game and start it again, the lightning dragon is dead and you are closer
Okay, I'm really confused here. How do you prevent the damage boost from cancelling after casting ominous? I got basically the same setup except I have 9 metal. I guess I need more investment in metal? Because, I can't figure out how to prevent the damage boost from cancelling after casting ominous and I'm not dealing as much damage on the monkey.
i really hope they buff the drop rates, i feel nioh had a good drop rate especially with the duels but for wo long, u can play several hrs without seeing a grace drop
I’ve been farming the like father like son mission for the mythic guda blade been farming for almost 12hours continuously over 1000drops I’ve gotten 14mythic armour pieces and 3 mythic dual halberds but no blade
I got the guda 5 Star on my first ng+ playthrough, but I've been grinding the ranged weapon for about 1.5 hour now and I haven't gotten my minus one requirement grace.
I've no joke have done the bow farm 300x and have not gotten a -set bonus grace yet. I have 226 luck with A+ drop rate. Bruh 303 try I finally fucking got let's go
I cleared 4 complete chapters in Ng+ so far and no 5 stars, not a single one. Loot is less exciting in general compared to nioh. Even visually the way it dropped pinata style
I've ranted about nioh 2 before i "quit" about the endgame loot and rng being not exciting and that it should change to a legendary system like diablo/poe, but alas, TN want the same basic incremental drops. they still don't realize how much more popular their games can be if they changed their loot system properly and made it either exciting, or something akin to elden ring/souls, where you get badass gear guarantee for beating hard bosses. otherwise, the games longevity should be based off the fun content, not the rng grind. in wo long ng+ checks neither of those imo, overtuned, with minlmal rng rewards

I haven't experienced the decay, so if it exist, i didn't notice it. I tried doing method 3 in cup farm 3-4 times, and when i came back to monkey i still got shit xD then at same time i farmed like 10 times and was still getting 5 stars on 8th or 9th try so i don't know if there's factual evidence of decay outside of that one cheater with 3k luck that said so. if there is decay then i'd do what i said, 3rd method with cup video since its fast and completes the quest. or maybe simply quitting out could reset the "decay"

only 4 star versions. idk if we can even get more of those from drops. if we can it might be possible, but there would be little point unless we can get graces on them, otherwise just use decoration to look like the armor

oh clone doesn't have its own stage? lmao idk sorry. the best you can do is beat it, check loot at end, if doesn't drop, quickly quit to main menu and spawn at flag to try again, till you get a 5 star piece, and repeat till you get a 5star of each. this depends how quickly the game saves, but seems like it saves after load screen.
kinda no, it's too early in the game at chapter 2 so you'll be very low level and likely not unlock the necessary spells to kill quickly. also, you can't get graces or 5 stars in ng aside 1 final boss stage so all you'd get is 4 stars at best, so not worth it.
Bro , i can't pick de bow... How much time take to find that bow, and i have 214 luck and A+ drop ... Y spend 6 hours farming the bow but i can't have the pasive
man my Ice droping spell does half his health in damage... but sometimes does just 1/3 his damage, same buffs, opening attack, everything identical... no clue why it is inconsistent
leaving this comment here in case. if any of you guys are struggling to climb the latter or open the chest because of the flags people are leaving when they die. go in offline mode if you're on steam. it make your life and run so much easier. the amount of times I had die because someone died on the latter or right in front of the chest. and trynna to open/climb it but ending up offering pots instead. let say made me tilted af.
the monkey probably. problem with chest farms like the crossbow method, is there's too many weapon types to keep track of, so unless someone compiles a full list of chest farms and what they drop and it covers the full spectrum of gear drops, I don't know if there's any better alternative.

So since the second slot weapon apparently contributes nothing except for a set bonus (if it has one), there's zero use in being higher than a 1 Star even, right? Unless of course you're planning on switching between your weapons all the time. Really disappointing that none of the second slot weapon stats are counted because you're not using the weapon.
yah you can fill in a set bonus. so technically you could maybe put a 4 stage grace with 2x rwpns, 1 secondary, and then helm+waist for 4 piece activation. might be useful if you want to take on other missions to farm like human subs.
Is it possible to get 4 star quest reward? I farming for Dong Zhuo soldier helmet and theres a quest who gives them but i did it around 10 times and its always 3 star so is it possible to get it as 4 star as quest reward?
unsure. i got entertainer all in 4 star on ng+, but maybe good rng? or maybe its set in stone, to which the dong set your farming would always be 3 star. if you did it 10x then likely the latter

They drop anything but not what i need and when they drop what i need its 2-3 star no luck so i hope for quest reward 4 star theres two missions one gives the helmet one the gloves. @@El_Cattivo1988 It's exactly how Nioh is. Before the DLCs, you get a simple NG+ as we have now. With each DLC comes new NG+s and new difficulties.
Use willow branch to send HongJing home before the fight. I started getting 5 stars every 2-3 runs. Seems like playing solo boosts the drope rate.

Didn’t have any luck with the monke yet. Got 3 5 star armor/weapon drops and 2 were from the weak mobs you find everywhere
Imho they should add 2x red stat or 2x purple special stat on 5 star gear for a decent power boost, right now its just like ... "ok guess i add luck"
I have never believed that luck stats have helped in any game ever. I remember in DS3 I had better drops without leveling the stat at all.

I killed him 20 times this morning with 230 luck and I got zero 5 stars and very few 4 stars I think this is patched.

and i heard that crossbow might have the "set bonus requirement-1", but chance is very low
I am trying to farm a 5* Golden Stuff of King Yu Fu and I want ot get a bow with a particular grace? Are these the only two places to farm all this

So this is pretty much for NG+ to hope and get a 5 star piece or just range ? Can I still use the build without the luck cuz that ice damage is insane
Why not use the The Leader of Lords Set? 4 Pieces will get you Drop Rate A.
I also got to roll Luck on 2 of the 4 Pieces.
Because normal drop rate only increases drop rate of items not equipment.
read the description of it. drop rate = items. not gear. items are ammo, materials, elixirs, etc

What does a mitigation piece actually look like? By this, I mean, what does the actual stat that says mitigation look like.
It's worth noting, you cannot craft luck on Legs and Chest natively, so the Entertainer gear is the only way to get luck on those pieces.

only 4 star versions. idk if we can even get more of those from drops. if we can it might be possible, but there would be little point unless we can get graces on them, otherwise just use decoration to look like the armor

Well I'm done till dlc done 100% of the game and saved up 50+mill qi and made 10 builds
At monkey farm after about eh 5 hours I pulled a 5 star tiger hunting bow so you can get ranged gear at monkey just very very rare
Thanks for the video bud. Any idea where I could farm for 5 star evil taoist set? I know the clone boss drops it but I think I have to literally do the entire level including the snake boss before I even get to fight him
oh clone doesn't have its own stage? lmao idk sorry. the best you can do is beat it, check loot at end, if doesn't drop, quickly quit to main menu and spawn at flag to try again, till you get a 5 star piece, and repeat till you get a 5star of each. this depends how quickly the game saves, but seems like it saves after load screen.

Is this farm viable before new game+?
kinda no, it's too early in the game at chapter 2 so you'll be very low level and likely not unlock the necessary spells to kill quickly. also, you can't get graces or 5 stars in ng aside 1 final boss stage so all you'd get is 4 stars at best, so not worth it.

I did ten runs with and without equipment drop I got 1 5 star with and 4 . 5 star without? Can someone do further testing please
man my Ice droping spell does half his health in damage... but sometimes does just 1/3 his damage, same buffs, opening attack, everything identical... no clue why it is inconsistent

Hammer gives extra gear drop chance, hence why he uses the hammer.

if any of you guys are struggling to climb the latter or open the chest because of the flags people are leaving when they die.
go in offline mode if you're on steam. it make your life and run so much easier. the amount of times I had die because someone died on the latter or right in front of the chest. and trynna to open/climb it but ending up offering pots instead. let say made me tilted af.

Set bonuses count for all equipment, but affixes like the hammer's drop bonus only work when active.
nope. set bonuses are only exception. and yes you have to main it. only primary weapon you have out to attack with, has its effects activated

the monkey probably. problem with chest farms like the crossbow method, is there's too many weapon types to keep track of, so unless someone compiles a full list of chest farms and what they drop and it covers the full spectrum of gear drops, I don't know if there's any better alternative.
@PWARGaming yea man I've been doing both the graces look so good for some of then how long before you got the -1 set bonuses to drop

So since the second slot weapon apparently contributes nothing except for a set bonus (if it has one), there's zero use in being higher than a 1 Star even, right? Unless of course you're planning on switching between your weapons all the time.
Really disappointing that none of the second slot weapon stats are counted because you're not using the weapon.
yah you can fill in a set bonus. so technically you could maybe put a 4 stage grace with 2x rwpns, 1 secondary, and then helm+waist for 4 piece activation. might be useful if you want to take on other missions to farm like human subs.
Can four star gear drop as mission rewards? Farming for the Entertainers pieces but only ever get 3 star on NG sub mission
its likely locked, so you'd need to beat it on ng+ to get it. ng probably only ever drops 3 star or below

I've had the pandas jebait me. I drop jewel fragments and the icon lights up like it's a 5 star, pick it up and it's a 4 star.
If you drop exactly 9 jewel fragments the pandas will give a 5 star accessory every time

basic attack/jump attack = gain spirit = can cast 2nd ominous faster instead of being full orange for 2 seconds

Is it possible to get 4 star quest reward? I farming for Dong Zhuo soldier helmet and theres a quest who gives them but i did it around 10 times and its always 3 star so is it possible to get it as 4 star as quest reward?
unsure. i got entertainer all in 4 star on ng+, but maybe good rng? or maybe its set in stone, to which the dong set your farming would always be 3 star. if you did it 10x then likely the latter
@@PWARGaming Im still in normal game. I hope it can drop 4 star quest reward. I need the helmet and the gloves for more slashing spear damage i think does two are the only equipement who gives slashing spear damage ;) I tried farming the mobs but after 2 hours i gave up. They drop anything but not what i need and when they drop what i need its 2-3 star no luck so i hope for quest reward 4 star theres two missions one gives the helmet one the gloves. But anyways thx for your answer ;)
