It's not that long ago (check's watch - last went to Mallorca in 2016) that the tunnel on the way to Formentor was totally unlit. Nothing quite like descending through it having gone from bright sunshine to feeling like riding with your eyes closed for 100m or whatever.... Great ride. Thanks for posting.
That sounds like my kind of fun. I really like flying down Newlands Pass in The Lake District (UK), with all the gravel, pot holes, and occasionally having to squeeze past a car or two.
No. I kept spinning out. The biggest gear I could get was 50x about 17. Found out once I got home that the cable had greyed inside the STi lever as they do jamming.
Yes I do. That will not always be apparent on camera. However it seems most riders in Mallorca don’t do this. It could just be a nod of the head. A hand jesters or an „Hola” With that many cyclists about you can feel like a nodding dog.
@@PW-CreakySaddle I took it as a genuine question too. As you say PW, roads like that with such technical bits and the sheer number of riders and cars around you need your hands on the bars for control. Also with so many nationalities of cyclists it’s was difficult to know what greeting to choose. Mostly it was a nod. Or an hola as I said before. I did recognise one group of Brits so that was a morning as I passed them up a climb.
Spectacular scenery on this route 🚴👍
Yes, it is an amazing route isn't it. Thanks,
Seems just what you were looking for, some good miles in. Great day out
Exactly. Just should have stayed until Easter Monday for another 3 nights. We had a great holiday all round.

Thank you. I can’t wait to go back.
Hi, beautiful ride. What camera?
Hi. Thanks. The camera is a GoPro Hero 12 Black.
Not jealous. I like Cumbrian rain :-)
🤣 good flipping job.
Brilliant!
Thanks.
Lol they where all slowing you down 💪🚴🏻♂️💨
🤣 at times yes they were. 🤣
You were flying up that hill.
Thanks. Didn’t think I was going that fast.
Not much pedalling by the sound of your hub Duncan!

That’s a shame was hoping to see the light house
I am gutted. I will be back for another crack though.
Do you not acknowledge other riders???
Yes I do. That will not always be apparent on camera. However it seems most riders in Mallorca don’t do this. It could just be a nod of the head. A hand jesters or an „Hola”

I often nod head as moving hands to wave can be a bit tricky :-) taking it as a genuine question? and not winding Duncan up ;-)
