Ya know I’m so broke right now I’m 21, you alrdy know how that goes, God gives and takes away, I had a good amount but was stripped of it, what stayed with me? My faith, and now it’s stronger than ever, I’m to the point where I don’t even want or need anything but his Word and Love, and everything else in my life will align. Great video man 👍🏼
Phil 4:12-13 "know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need."
We have NO idea how amazing that's going to be!!! God is SO good! 1 Cor 2:9 "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him." God bless!
Thank you dear Brother for the Truth! Spot on! Eyes up! Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the GIFT of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Acts 16:31 "And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." Colossians 1:14 "In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:" Salvation is obtained by simply believing in Jesus' death (Blood sacrifice), burial and resurrection for payment of all your sins, past, present and future. Subbed.
The beautiful thing about grace and salvation is that no one, even in their own hearts if you truly search your soul, do we deserve salvation? It is as fair to say “do we deserve the gift of life in the first place. Neither of which do we have any physical choice. Embrace it or not, is our god given choice.
Thank you! It's so easy to twist or misunderstand the warning passages, and a carnal (works-based) mind will use those to promote works. I used to misunderstand them for years until I came across some great teachers who made them clear to me, thank God!!
The enemy often attacks the mind because if they get you thinking wrong, you'll live wrong. Fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Heb 12:2). Keep looking at Him, praying to Him, and asking Him to lead you. Psa 16:8 "I keep my eyes always on the LORD. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken". Hw WILL help you! God bless!
1 Corinthians 9:27 emphasizes the importance of self-discipline and self-control in the Christian life. It speaks to the necessity of denying oneself of earthly desires in order to pursue a life that is pleasing to God. This verse serves as a reminder to believers that following Christ requires discipline and dedication, and that by practicing self-control, one can align themselves more closely with God's will and live a life of faithfulness and righteousness.
Amen brother! Think about Paul's analogy here? If we are in a race for salvation we would be competing against each other for that salvation as only one wins the race??? No, you are right on the target here with your explanation brother
Does it really matter in which church i go , because my mom is an Orthodox Christian and she says that only Orthodox church is true faith , but i like lutheran church ❤❤❤
As long as you believe with your heart that Jesus shed his precious blood on the cross for your Salvation. You will be saved! We are not saved by works... 🙏
I think a lot are good but the only one that is suspicious is Catholic Church, but if Christ is your root you’ll sift thru that church and find the TRUTH.
The Gospel is that Jesus died for our sins and arose 3 days later to offer us eternal life (1 Cor 15:1-4). Faith alone in Christ alone saves, not denominational affiliation. There are saved people in every denomination, but not all churches are headed in the right direction. We all make mistakes, but I agree with the principal of constant refining and reforming. The reformation happened when Marin Luther wanted to shed all the extra stuff the Catholic church added. Multiple reformations happened in the protestant church since, but each time a denomination makes progress they camp out and stop reforming. Constant reforming/refining brings you closer to the truth. Every church and denomination thinks that they're the only ones saved or the only ones doing it right, but fallen human nature and pride is all that is.
Hi, I have a problem with porn addiction. I have tried everything but nothing works.I know that I am saved and I want to stop sining and live by the spirit and not in the flesh. I can go without it a week or two weeks but I always fall back to it. How to overcome it forever? Can you give me some advice? Sorry for a bad english.
Your English is good! Spend lots and lots of time with God (in worship, prayer, the Bible, with other good believers, etc). The more time you spend with Him, the more He will transform you. When He transforms you, your desire for sin will decrease, and you will start to be led of the Spirit more and more. When you are led of the Spirit, you will not give in to the flesh! "This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh." Gal 5:16 Learn more and more about God's grace for us! His grace doesn't give us permission to sin (Rom 6:1-2, 15-17), but it does transform us. "For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age" God's grace saves us AND it teaches us to turn from sin, and turn to righteousness! It calls us to change our ways (Rom 2:4), so build on top of that grace He gives!
also don't isolate Eph 2^8 from it's context: read to verse 15? ● *"work/s"* - some examples: ○ *work of faith* 1-Thess 1^3 ○ *works of the flesh* Gal 5^19-21 (compare Rev 2^22) ○ *work of ministry* (plant, water): 1-Cor 3^5-15 ○ *works of the (Jewish) law* Rom 3^28-29 (compare: Eph 2^9-15 & Php 3^4-9) ○ *the works of Abraham* Jn 8^39 (see also: Gen 26^5) ○ *works meet for repentance* Ac 26^20 (Lk 3^8-14) ○ *the first works* Rev 2^5 ○ *good work/s* Rom 2^7, Eph 2^10, Titus 2^14, Heb 10^24 ○ *My works* Rev 2^26
I absolutely agree that works should be in the life of a believer, but they do not have anything to do with salvation (with getting, keeping, or proving it). If so, then works would play a part in salvation and it would no longer be of grace, but a reward that was deserved or earned (Rom 11:6).
Mastery over the flesh? Brother, our flesh is an enemy of God’s, as we read in Galatians 5:17! Galatians 3:3, Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? Brother, I know that you are a believer, but you need to understand that our flesh can never please God. Romans 8:9 says that the believer is not even in the flesh! You know this! I say this in love, I’m subscribed to your channel because I know that you are a brother, and a member of the body of Christ. I have no interest in proving you wrong brother, because saying that I’m right, or you saying that you are right, is of the flesh. Our apostle Paul did not physically master his flesh, but said in Romans 7:17 and Romans 7:20, that it wasn’t even him who was sinning, but the sin in him that was sinning. Paul also said in Romans 7:18, For I know that in me (that is, IN MY FLESH,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. From my experience, the institutional church is super focused on our flesh, while our Lord Jesus says in John 4:24 that they that worship the Father MUST worship the Father in Spirit and in Truth. The Truth of course in our Lord Jesus ‘John 14:6. Our faith is all about Jesus, and not how well we perform in our flesh. Once we start looking to our flesh, we are not completely looking and trusting on our Lord Jesus. This is how our enemy deceives us! If he cannot take our salvation from us, he will at least attempt to take our peace from us. This is a game he has been playing for a long time, and sadly, he’s been very successful at it! Our flesh is not, and never will be saved, so why attempt to make it holy in God’s eyes, when it is not nor will it ever be? Galatians 2:20 tells the believer how they are made holy in God’s eyes! Read the next verse in Galatians 2:21 and listen to what it is teaching us.
100% I agree that our flesh has no good thing in it, that we shouldn't try of human effort to get right with God (that's through faith alone), but by "mastery over the flesh" I mean that he allows it no control over his life. Yes we can and often do sin (more than we're aware I'm sure!), but as we grow in Christ we give less and less room for the flesh to influence or dictate our ways. That's the process of progressive sanctification. Gal 5:16 "This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh." I don't disagree with you, and maybe I should have clarified that more, but I was giving a brief overview of the crowns in scripture. Paul said if he kept his flesh in subjection, he'd earn the incorruptible crown. We can keep it in subjection (perhaps not perfectly, but you can tell when a Christian is led of the flesh or the Spirit!) and those who keep it in subjection earn that crown.
@@myflourishingfam Hi brother, sorry I’m late replying back to you. We are not being progressively sanctified. Progressive sanctification would involve our flesh, as in sinning less and less. 1 Corinthians 6:11, And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye ARE sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. 2 Thessalonians 2:13, But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification OF THE SPIRIT and belief of the truth: Hebrews 10:10, By the which will WE ARE sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ ONCE FOR ALL. Romans 15:16, That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the Gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, Being SANCTIFIED by the Holy Ghost. Stumbled across your videos few days ago. Love your teaching. Righty dividing the word! Keep them coming! The hard passages 95% of people twist them.

Hi brother, sorry I’m late replying back to you.
We are not being progressively sanctified.
Progressive sanctification would involve our flesh, as in sinning less and less.
1 Corinthians 6:11,
And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye ARE sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
2 Thessalonians 2:13,
But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification OF THE SPIRIT and belief of the truth:
Hebrews 10:10,
By the which will WE ARE sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ ONCE FOR ALL.
Romans 15:16,
That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the Gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, Being SANCTIFIED by the Holy Ghost.
Strong’s definition of being sanctified is, hagiazo or the Strong’s Greek number 37 which is defined as, to sanctify, to make holy, to consecrate, sanctify.
1 Peter 1:2,
Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of THE SPIRIT, unto obedience and sprinkling of the Blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
I pray this gives you clarification concerning how we are sanctified one time, just as we are saved once, for all eternity.
