Toyota and Acura nearby add $1,500-4,500 dealer add-ons to every vehicle they receive. They attach an addendum to the sticker. I picked up the phone and called around the city and asked 2 questions, "do you add mandatory dealer add-ons?" and "do you add a market adjustment?" Less than 5-6 calls and found one that does neither. Just call around guys. I've also flown across the country 1 way to buy exactly the model/spec and price I wanted and drove it home 11 hrs. Worth it.
I’ve been to a Dealership that puts a Pin Stripe on almost every car on the lot. They then charge an additional cost of $250 to $400 dollars. They charge for Dealer Prep for washing and cleaning the interior. One had a line in their Form for an Advertising Charge.
A dealership I worked at in Iowa city would charge a $495 detail fee. Wouldn’t you think that dealers have to detail a car when it is shipped to them? Shouldn’t it be included in the MSRP? The only way around it would be to bring ina quote from a competing dealership for the same car. At that point, why would anyone go back to the dealership that was willing to screw you over? You would be surprised at how many people just pay the fees.
Another classic scam! They say they can’t take cash for the car some must be financed. They do this when they can get you to budge on paying mark up so they try to get you on the loan with the extra Apr like you talked about in this clip. Great vid
Dealers don't get their loan kickbacks over the length of the loan. They get it all upfront. Call 5 credit unions around you. Much better rates than banks.
Not so sure about the legality of a dealership doing a conversion and keeping the OEM parts unless stated. Many cases related to dealerships keeping items from BRAND NEW VEHICLES including exotic car luggage and tools are recognized as theft by many states.

I got My Z06 allocation from Mills Chevrolet in Davenport Iowa. They get one allocation a year, maybe two and I paid MSRP.

Don't agree verbally, get it in writing that there is no markup.
And no forced accessories, options, packages, or financing with penalties for early pay-off.
Often times dealership 'security systems' are powered incorrectly through the vehicles wiring which can cause havoc with modern CAN Bus systems.
👍👍
You babble to much, get to the point and many people resent being bated to watch the whole thing.
