Hey hey y'all! A spring homestead project is underway. Here is how to keep rabbits out of your garden... and chickens too.... hopefully. 😄 This is step one of project diy garden fence. 💚

My paw would plant vegetables that rabbits liked a few feet away from the main garden.
He always said “when you plant. Plant 3. One for you, one for your neighbor, and one for the bunnies!”

The garden is coming along nicely, and I hope some sort of fencing helps with the unwanted diners. Would the sent of a predator help keep the rabbits at bay, maybe goggle would have a list of smells they shy away from. Have a wonderful day 💞
I think a fence would definitely help. We did a garden one year and couldn’t keep the deer out of it. They ate all the corn. 😊

I've not tried it myself but I've heard of people soaking rags in white vinegar and then tying them to stakes around the garden. I think the rags have to be resoaked every 5 to 7 days. Great video!! Can't wait to see what your fence will look like😊. Lots of love ❤ from Nicole in Indiana

I saw you eating honeysuckle you picked and that reminded me of my lil sis and i ised to find them in out neighborhood in the wooded areas anf they hsd lots of honeysuckles... they were so Good......❤ Mary

I read somewhere that you can sprinkle cinnamon, red pepper, or cloves the strong smells will determine them. I used this for strY cats and seemed to work.

I had been wondering how y'all we're going to keep the children, I mean chickens out of the garden. Lol.
You can have the boys pee around the garden , it helps until it rains
We planted Garlic about the same time that y'all did and it was our first time planting when do we need to harvest it.
We usually harvest in June :)
