  • Animated stereoscopic photographs of Union officers serving with New York infantry regiments taken during the American Civil War. The rank and unit given for each officer included in the video are what they were at around the times that the photographs were taken. All of the photographs are attributed to Mathew Brady.
    Correction: At 3:04 Colonel Alvin C. Voris of the 67th Ohio Volunteer Infantry Regiment has been mistakenly identified as Colonel Francis Boucher of the 97th New York Volunteer Infantry Regiment.
