If we don’t have to give up much for him. Yeah it’s a great idea. But if we have to give up someone younger for him. I don’t think it would work. But I was a Kane fan back then with his 3 cup runs with the Hawks. It would be awesome!!

100% D should be an area of focus.

He is most likely the peice that gets moved, but it depends on what Kane will settle on. Perhaps Toronto moves a package with a prospect and a high priced D for a younger D and a pick to free up some room. Will have to wait and see.
Nylander or Marner to free up cap space for Kane ..I would hope not.. Kneis would be awful to give up for Kane.
can't give up on Knies, he has such a bright future.

If you said that before the season i would be ok with that. Nylander however right now is one of the best players on the team.

Buyer beware on anyone talking with Kane, just see what's going on with Backstrom and the Hip Resurfacing Surgery..... and that surgery for Nicky was year and a half ago.....

yep Sam, Backstrom declared himself 100% after training camp and 2 home preseason games, but when the rigors of regular season games started, first couple road trips on planes and stuff started to aggravate it again
sad that his potential last goal was washed off with that sketchy goalie interference call against the Leafs
