"Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage."
Lao Tzu
Preach, my friend, love benefits us both ways! 💘
“Tell the judge I love my wife” gets me every time.
I absolutely adore A Bronx Tale 🥰🥰
That bus scene warms my heart
Despite not really being a official couple both Jet Li and Aaliyah chemistry as a duo in Romeo Must Die deserved a honorable mention
Mississippi Mascala is fantastic, the script is amazing, the performances are too. The intercultural and interracial love story with multiple minorities is definitely one Hollywood ignores, especially ones that are this good
I love this list. Something New is such an underrated film. I loved Simon Baker in that movie. I'm glad Joe and Jess from Bend It Like Beckham made it. In those days it was rare to see a white man and an Indian woman together and now we have Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas. Bend It Like Beckham is underrated af. Such a lovely story.
"Hitch" is one of the most underrated rom coms, in my opinion! 💘 I love that it depicts a pairing between a black man and a Hispanic woman, as one half of the couple is usually white. 👫
I made a blog post a few years ago that lists non-white interracial couples on TV shows & films. It's time for an update but idk if you wanna check it out
Winners are not afraid of losing. But losers are. Failure is part of the process of success. People who avoid failure also avoid success.
🤩🔥🔥
Winners also tend to be proud losers.
Our Family Wedding is also a good interracial movie, with Hispanic and Black families involved
yep
I love Save the Last Dance and Bend It Like Beckham. However the character Joe was a Caucasian Irish man .. they live in England but you can definitely tell the accent that Jonathan Rhys- Meyers uses is Irish. Fitting since the soccer club he coaches at I believe is mentioned to be also owned by Irish men.
I'm surprised movies by Amma Asante like "Belle", "A United Kingdom", and "Where Hands Touch" weren't included.
And American Fusion (2005)
I am happy “Guess who’s coming to dinner” is number 1. It was such a ground breaking film and one of my favorites. Sidney Poitier, Katherine Hepburn and Spence Tracey are some of my all time favorite actors. I think Loving should be higher, mainly because the historical context. A couple who loved each other and fought hard to be together.
I watched it for the first time for a film class and it was so so good.
I feel like Loving should have been at the top, their the reason for most of these videos.
True
Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner was a big deal when it came out. Very controversial film.
@@themurph2000 she's talking about the actual couple
Very true 👍
Mojo: "English caucasian bloke"
Movie clip: "I'm Irish"
🙄
Mr. and Mrs. Loving is the couple that made Intercultural couples look pure and sweet.
This reminds me of my wife and I,we are both interracial,. But we love each other 💕💕💕💕!!!!!
Corrina, Corrina (1994) by Jessie Nelson, with Whoopi Goldberg and Ray Lotta ; Azur and Asmar, by Michel Ocelot (2006).
Mississippi masala is great movie...it deserves more love....especially the actress
Thanx for the list Msmojo 😊
"An English Caucasian bloke." Nuh, he's Irish. He says so in the clip. Derp.
Heck his accent is Irish...that’s a pretty bad case of mistaken cultural identity.
Thank you!! I was like wth
Their error is enough to make me wonder if they even bothered to watch the film.
“Jess I’m Irish of course I understand what that feels like” ...said the “English bloke”... 🤦🏻♀️
Jackie Brown & Max Cherry
Everybody: 2020 is worst year ever
MsMojo: hold my crown
So interesting! Thnk you phoebe xD
I’m glad Lara Jean and Peter are on the list🥰
very very great epic fun list I like it a lot great job mis mojo one of my absolute favorite list ever guess who is coming for dinner is one of the very best movies ever with a amazing cast too please do a top 20 tv couples next please
The Big Sick actors are not married in real life. The story is based on the Kumali Nanjiani real life courtship with his wife. She does a cameo in the last scene of the movie though.
My Big Fat Greek Wedding should be higher on the list.
*MY FAVORITES:*
Ian and Toula ("My Big Fat Greek Wedding")
Kate and Tom ("Last Christmas")
Alex and Isabel ("Fools Rush In")
Lara Jean and Peter ("To All the Boys I've Loved Before")
Frank and Rachel ("The Bodyguard")
Derek and Sara ("Save the Last Dance")
Penny and Seaweed ("Hairspray")
Greek is still white!!
My favorite couple is Ian and Toula from ”My Big Fat Greek Wedding”!
some of these aren't even intercultural, just interracial..there is a huge difference
They had already done a similar list before too and called them interracial relationships. I guess they got backlash from it or something?
Jo from Bend it like Beckham isn’t English, his Irish! That’s important to remember.
Great video
I love movie about love and romance movies 😎👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Why isn’t Crazy/Beautiful isn’t on the list?
I love 💞💞💞❤️ the picks
Yeah, I've always wanted to see "Loving" !
My favorite kind of love story
Same. As the product of an interracial marriage I often look for interracial couples in movies.
Palm trees in the snow is also a great one
I love Guess Who's Coming to Dinner
2020:This Covid-19 is the worst Virus in the world. Ms.Mojo:He’s is the queen Like the young queen elizabeth😎👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Good video
The Bodyguard with Diana Ross and Steve Mcqueen? Oh man that would have been awesome!
Something New should be in the top 3,what a beautiful love story ❤
A lot of great movies mentioned here. I've seen quite a few of them.
I knew Guess Who's Coming to Dinner and it's reboot was going to be on this list, let alone #1
21:32 this is what falling in love with a Japanese Girl as a Mexican feels like to me.
interracial couples are beautiful ❤️
There needs to be more films pairings like number 6!
The Bodyguard ♥️ Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner are the best movie couple ever
Your definition of the best will change as you experience more. If you haven't seen Mississippi Masala, I encourage you to get it. THEY are real people who have to deal with their own cultures racism and decide to choose each other.
1. Penny and Seaweed (Hairspray)
2. Laura Jean and Peter (To All the Boys I've Loved Before)
3. Cinderella and Prince Christopher (Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella)
Yeeees! #3! They forgot a few of my favorites
ummmmm Cinderella??? the magical 1997 film?? Brandy is in it? Whitney Houston?
Judging by the MASSACRE of Calogero it's obvious no one at Mojo offices has seen A Bronx Tale.
It's Ca-LO-ja-ro not calla-jerro. It's said several times in the movie. Could have googled instead of murdering it.
Derek and Sara (had a lil crush on Derek lol) are my favorite interracial couple along with seaweed and penny and Rachel and frank love them! And wares Sasha keen and donjo epps in take the lead and Lalita and Mr Darcy from bride and prejudice
If you do a part two be sure to put Zendaya qnd Zack Efron's characters from the gratest showman on it
There were a few runner-ups for me, but I kept coming back to the movie "Hitch." One caveat - While I loved the film, I did not feel it was the best on this list. That honor I give to the classic "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner." However, of all these respectable couples, I found the chemistry between Will Smith and Eva Mendes to be the most endearing.
ive got 3 more movies for u.
belle 2013, hillbilly elegy & joyful noise
I hope the very underrated Amira & Sam is here ❤🤞
Good list. But where are ‘A United Kingdom’ & ‘Belle’,
The only thing I hate most love stories are just white and non white and not love stories between two non white love stories
My big fat Greek wedding and bend it like bekum is my most relatable 🎥. Their both my favorite movies.
Fools Rush In is a good one too
In harry potter they ruined Ginny's character
What about richie and donna in la bomba
I really loved Something New.
Where are "Belle", "A United Kingdom" and "Brooklyn" ? They deserved to be on that list, especially since racial differences are at the center of their plots (unlike many entries here, eg. Hitch). Shame.
My God!!! I so loved Hitch❤❤ Will Smith and Eva Mendes!!
English? Joe is Irish isn’t he?
The Mentioned That on The Pervious Version of This List Via a Top 10.
Where's the list guys...im late and there's no list 🥺
Yes, very forward-thinking.
How did Jungle Fever not make this list?!
You guys have a similar list. It's really okay to not publish a video everyday.
We also need this for romance in between humans and other species
Why is ‘A Bronx Tale’ set in Brooklyn??
I want a successful interabled romance show!
Yes, they don’t make many of them
some recs:
words on bathroom walls (movie)
josee the tiger & the fish (movie)
perks of being a wallflower (movie)
perfect world (manga)
a sign of affection (manga)
A BRONX TALE ❤️❤️
So no “honorable mentions” in this video ?
Peter & Laura Jean are only #8?? That's messed up. You also forgot one of my favoritie interracial couple movies: Dirty Dancing Havana Nights
MsMojo should add American Fusion (2005)
RIP Whitney Houstan
It's more than intercultural, they're also interracial, don't be lazy with wording what's really going on.
Hi
Hello!
Maria in West Side Story looks very Caucasian so it doesnt even feel like its interracial 😂
That's because Maria was portrayed by Natalie Wood
*intercultural is in the title 😉
@@alexphillips4644 thank goodness we have a real Puerto Rican playing Maria in the remake.
Love is an amazing thing is not it? you can't touch it, you can't smell it , you can't see it. though it always there since the day we are born. doesn't matter the color of your skin or your race,.. it is always gonna get you soon or later.
Why haven't I heard of "Mississippi Masala"?
I highly recommend it. It is an indie film directed by Mira Nair. and had limited release.
@@rcladygreywolf6567 I could not agree. I saw this movie today I had not heard of either until I saw this list, and I am a big Denzel fan. This movie is seriously like 8.5-9/10. All the storylines are great, the script could definitely come out in 2020. No bad performances. The reason you may not have heard of it is honestly, a movie with black and Indian cast, mainly, did not get much promotion in the early 90s, but it is shame this movie is fantastic.
I can’t believe you don’t have Matthew Perry and Salma Hayek in fools rush in on this list.
What's intercultural Love Stories Is About?
id like to add belle 2013, hillbilly elegy & joyful noise
Lily Cotton and Gede
Ticket to Paradise 🇺🇸🇮🇩
Some Intercultural couples are rare in real life.
14:44 Karma!!! 😂😂😂😂
Hey miss mojo can you do a top ten times this was the best character on The Big Bang Theory
One notable intercultural (but not interracial) honorable mention is Moulin Rouge.
Mississippi mandala I like it
Miss Mojo could you please do the 90s 90s rom-com 90s best rom-com pairing couple
How many times did you need to write "90s"
22:55 This shouldn't have been on the list. In Rowen Ellis' video entitled '29 films that should have been gay' (I think, I can't remember the exact title) she described how the relationship between the protagonist and the football coach was only there to make the film straight, when you can easily see that this film was actually pretty gay. Keira Nightly(idk if I spelt that correctly) herself said that the relationship in the film should have been her character and the protagonist(she said this based on the general themes of the film and two characters interactions). Rowen better explain it in her video so I recommend you watch it if you want further details.
What video are you referring to? Would like to check it out!
And iiiiii yiya yiya will always loooove you huuuu. Will always love you hahaha never gets old
sorry but I love will smith with all that benadryl in in his system.
That scene was hilarious! 🤣
😄😄
Save The Last Dance was 2001...not the 90s
It took place in the 90s!!!
Mississippi Masala is a good movie but not a movie for a 7 year old. It was heavy.
Joe is Irish in Bend it like Beckham, it literally says it in the clip 🙄🙄🙄
