He did like Clint Eastwood as Dirty Harry and counted how many shots he fired. I remember this being the episode where he goes after the guy who murdered his parents. Those villains never figured out it was a waste of time to go at Chuck Norris with a knife when he can see them coming because it’s too easy for him to disarm them of that knife.
John Vernon played the main villain in this episode. If that was me in that scene facing him, before I dropped him, I would've screamed: "DELTAS FOREVER, WORMER!!!!" I could've seen Vernon saying: "I hate those guys", to which I would retorted: "Yeah, well they hate you, too!!!" To those that don't know, John Vernon played Dean Wormer in the movie Animal House.
We’ll let a court decide your fate. But which one? A Texas Court for the murder of Walker’s parents? Or a federal or state court in Oklahoma for weapons offenses & hijacking a military weapons shipment?
Yeah Walker's origin story is kinda like Batman's difference is he didn't just live with that pain deep down and become so closed off he actually healed.
I agree. But you gotta remember, that killing the man won't bring Walker's parents back. When Walker's parents died, both of his maternal and paternal grandparents were dead. His mom didn't have any siblings. His dad had a younger brother who took Walker in and raised him. Walker's uncle wasn't happy about his father marrying a white woman.
@@paulying10261985 Ray wasn't happy about his brother marrying a white woman, but he raised Walker non the less because he was his brothers son and came to love him for all of who he is as did Walker for Ray. Blood or mud, it's love that makes a family. And it was the love of his family, and his father's words that made Walker not let go of that guy, not matter how much he wanted revenge.
@@rashworth080 You're right. And I think because Walker's father was a full blooded Cherokee and his mother was White of Irish descent, like you said, it's love that makes a family. His father's words made Walker not give up and not let go of that old man. He wanted revenge on the old man racist for killing his parents. All because that Old man Murdock who was Max Slater a long time ago killed his parents because of their different background culture.
In the episode Patriot, Walker told Trivette he’s not worth it after a white nationalist killed Trivette’s military cousin. Eventually, Walker & Trivette took down that white nationalist after that white nationalist & his accomplices held DA Alex Cahill & others hostage at a TV news station.
Big Dog C.D. stated, "That fella is gonna wish he wasn't born after Cordell and Jimmy get through with them". Maybe not that exactly, but you know what I mean!!!
Walker & Trivette were out of their jurisdiction in Oklahoma. There could have been at least one municipal police officer, county sheriff’s deputy, state trooper, highway patrol officer, or federal agent (FBI, ATF, US Marshals) accompanying the Texas Rangers. Maybe Trivette was deputized with federal or Oklahoma State authority.
With Walker, this was personal and jurisdiction didn't mean squat when bringing the man that killed his parents to justice. (Wich was why he left his badge behind in Texas). You want something done, and done right, do it yourself.
With hatred like that, it feeds on its self. Passed on and over generations for so long that it's become a natural way of life with the only logic of who stands where, with the ones standing high and mighty while others are as low as dirt just because of who they look.
