  • Today we took our lifted offroad Alltrack and transformed it into a track setup! Neuspeed wheels with a very sticky tire in combination with Bilstein PSS10 Coilovers we are getting closer to being able to run this on a track! Next episode we will be finally adding a front bumper to complete the look!

    When you told me a few months ago you were gonna do both track and off-road after raising it I was very skeptical. I should have trusted you more, Paul. Well played and awesome job. Keep it up

    why would you not spray it down (under the car) outside first then bring it in to disassemble?

    I thought you were done with these videos because they don't show up in the project alltrack playlist. I guess I have a few to catch up on now.

    Hey dap, im pretty much doing the same build. I was wondering if u noticed more rear end bounce with the suspension stlet up as i cant find out if there is diffrent spring rates for HB vs. Wagon. Any advice or info would be much appreciated! Keep up the great work!!!

    Neuspeed wheels are my favorite.. I have been looking at 17" for a longggg time. I know only certain ones come in 17". I wanted RSe12's but they dont come in 17's... only the RSe16's come in a 17" wheel. I like a simpler spoke look, but the 16 spoke's will have to do.

      wish i could come work in a shop and do what i love on a daily basis.. although, to be honest.. its fun until its not your car anymore.. working on other peoples cars isnt nearly as fun.

    HID "kit" in halogen projectors? UGH, don't be a 16 year old kid with that illegal and blinding set up.

    • @Deutscheautoparts
      @Deutscheautoparts  5 років тому +1

      They’re projector lens not reflector lights. Not the same thing.

    • @kleinbiker1
      @kleinbiker1 5 років тому

      Deutsche Auto Parts yup I said projectors. Projectors that are engineered for halogen bulbs not HID. There is a difference. The set up you’ve created will still scatter the light (blinding other drivers), and is still illegal in pretty much every state.

    • @Deutscheautoparts
      @Deutscheautoparts  5 років тому +1

      They have cutoff for beams.

    • @kleinbiker1
      @kleinbiker1 5 років тому

      Deutsche Auto Parts halogen projectors are still NOT designed for HID bulbs. The way they emit light are completely different from each other. The only reason they seem like they give you more light is due to the beam scatter. It lights up the area close to the car very well but really doesn’t make much of a beam to help you see down the road, which is the point of wanting to replace them anyway. This beam scattering blinds the other drivers and delivers zero actual benefits to you. Of course everyone seems to think the litmus test is, “well nobody ever flashes their high beams at me”. 🙄
      Seriously just don’t be those guys.
      If you need more “professional” input, go talk to the lighting guys at Susquehanna motorsports. www.rallylights.com
      They should tell you the same thing.
