Even though I'm no longer in the market for a new mini I watch every upload to stay up to date.
just ordered this Mini PC. I had the bosgame p1 but the gaming performance wasn't good enough and i had stability issues.
just finished the video, thank you for showing Cs2 and Valorant performance, that's exactly what i was looking for. Going to play those games along with Fall Guys. I already have a Asus ROG 17" gaming laptop, but I'm getting this as a secondary system so i can do some light gaming with my sister. Our younger brother passed away in April 2024 we just need something to distract us a bit and have a little fun.

Thanks for another in-depth review. I would do a clean install of Windows to get rid of the bloat if I got one of these.
Certainly a big improvement over the earlier version, and I'm glad you emphasized the changes since that earlier version. I wouldn't mind the slow nvme drive if they sold a barebones unit, but given that it supports pcie 4, it's disappointing to see that. Still, with the current discount, it's not a bad deal for the money if you like the design. It was kind of fun to see the games played with each of the power modes.

hi! im completely new to pcs and im watching alot of youtube videos/googling as im thinking of buying one for gaming this month this was the one i was going to get and ur review helped me but ive seen alot of people saying specifically this pc has virueses and stuff on it i know yours didnt but ive seen mixed reviews if i did get one with a virus would there be a way to remove it?
If you buy it from Amazon you can run Malwarebytes which offers a free 14 day trial. If there's some malware it should be able to get rid of it by using its quarantine function, or at worst you can return it.
It looks fine, but yet again one more mini PC which makes it too difficult if not impossible to access the CPU fan.

The USB 4 spec only requires 20gbps not 40 so anyone in the market for an egpu compliant mini needs to make sure that the USB 4 port specifies that it is in fact 40gbps bandwidth, not just the 20gbps minimum spec. I'm trying to figure out why they wasted so much pcie capacity. Nothing but 4 garbage 5gbps USB-A and a 20gbps USB4 ports means there should be plenty of extra lanes. Obvious signs of cost cutting and creating a cheap machine for the uninformed masses. At $340 USD it might be fine for grandma to check email and stream some pron, but it's not worth much more than that.
