    Sam Bellamy's description of how the Rich rob regular people with laws and the Pirates rob the rich with their own courage is an apt description of Humanity. That's probably why that one quote has echoed down through time and space to enlighten us even today. Great work guys keep it up 💪👍

      Thanks! I appreciate it! Always good to read a lot of writers you like and think about the specific aspects that stand out to you. I also like to pepper in words and phrases that help establish the ambience of any given time period. The language used in this one is quite different than, say, that of our Mafia episodes.

    No other informative YT channel has me as eager to wait for new uploads as this one.
    I think other comments have probably already said it all (and better than I can), but the combination of the tone, the art style, and how the information is presented is perfect.
    If nothing else, I hope this channel continues producing content at the same level of quality for years to come- or that other opportunities swing around for bigger projects.

    When the real Whydah bell was shown and that beautiful last bit of pirate music did sound I felt shivers down my spine and a big grin was drawn on my face understanding that the souls of those who chase adventure and discovery like Bellamy never died, but reside within each of us too. ❤☠

    Bellamy was English, and it was rare, for English pirates to free slaves, like Bellamy liked to. He really was a legend. He didn't sell them. He would free them, or let them join his crew. His crew was very powerful because of this. He freed the plantation at nassau. One of his best deeds, in my opinion

    Bellamy, is actually who gold roger was based off of. From one piece. People think it's henry avery, but no. Even children weren't scared of Bellamy, and wanted to join his crew

    The story of a rag tag crew of so many different backgrounds all on a voyage of riches and adventure is very endearing to imagine.
    One Piece definitely took inspiration from this crew.
