I liked the 45 so much I decided to get the 25…..I don’t know why or how but the 25 is considerably louder…..was hoping to use the 25 for smaller weekend trips as it is much easier to move about alone but it’s to annoying. I’ve only read about this issue one other time from a review but had to learn the hard way

Wow, that’s too bad! Surprising the smaller model would be louder. Have you reached out to Dometic, or do you think that’s just the way it is?
