Today's my birthday and I invited several of my friends to go out drinking with me and none of them wanted to go. This also happened last year. I now feel this on a deep, personal level.

I'm turning 18 this year and so far, my birthdays have been nothing but miserable and lonely 4 times in a row.
Hell, even last year, my friends forgot my birthday, my family were busy and the weather that week was just rain and thunderstorms with no sunshine.
The last time I have ever been genuinely excited for my birthday was when I was 13 before I was even aware of the bad things.
For many here, when someone turns 18, they have a huge party and have fun.
And here I am who hasn't gotten either, all I've ever wanted was for someone to be there.
I don't care much for huge celebrations, I just wanted someone to care for once.
I'll probably make it past 17 if I haven't gone insane yet, I have a fraction of hope left.
