I’ve decided to post a review after reading some negative ones ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB I followed the cleaning instructions prior to using and preheated as well to ensure that we didn’t get the “plastic” smell or taste some have mentioned in other comments. I cleaned the basket with vinegar and water and the dish soap, and preheated it 3x to be sure. Honestly, the cooking time took about 30 min for larger wings and it’s a good idea to turn the meat half way through to cook evenly. The meat taste delicious 😋 Also, there is no mess on the counter from the vapor released during cooking time.
Thank you so much for sharing this because it will save me so much time during Ramadan deep frying my samosas. It’s clean and healthy method too! Can I use the same baking time for the meat samosas too? I was concerned that the samosas will come out too dry.
It’s an Instant Pot Vortex one :) www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08VDXMQ2P/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_2J2GWKWB36CGBXK0Y6ZS?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1%2F%3Fref%3Dexp_sanjana.feasts_dp_vv_mw
Can I prepare the samosas in the morning, store them in the fridge and in the evening get them out and air fry them when the guests arrive? Or would they soak through?

May I ask what type of oil you use? I tried a bit of olive oil but the pastry was more like a pasty than a crispy samosa..grateful for any tips.
For amateurs, can I use a good curry powder instead if the different spices, and if so, how would you tweak the recipie/instructions?
Thank you Sanjana for the fantastic samosa recipe!!! I love it!💚
So happy you like it Lex! Enjoy 😊

Yes you can
This is so amazing!
What if I wanted to add chickpeas at which step would they be added ?
So are these Indian or Burmese? I get the potato, thin ones from the Indian market, but I know they are Burmese. I love them
Has anyone used phyllo dough to make baked samosas? Did it work well?
I have but find it a bit too thin and it dries out pretty quickly. You’d have to do a few layers and brush with plenty of oil. May as well deep fry.
Oh no
This is what foreigners have to eat in the name of samosas
What's the point of air fryer if you are adding oil
This way it’s not drenched in oil. Just on the surface. It needs oil on the outside to get that crisp in the air fryer.
great recipe, horrible music.
Thank you for the feedback! Noted :)
Please drop the music in the background, annoying.
Will I be the first one in the World (as I can’t see one bad review) that Samoosa is awful airfrying unless you have never tried them fried???
Background music is annoying
