as a guy who played this game for 2h/day, only got bombed once by a twin engines with a 500kg bomb and deleted it after 1 week of grinding, i can verify this is real.

If there's like no enemy planes flying around and your team is losing in cap points then you should start moving and help them out. Most AA should be able to kill most ground vehicles in their BR and should assist in cap points than being useless sitting around when there is no enemy planes in the air. When I do fly planes I look and fly away from the enemy spawn because that's where the AAs usually are. The ones that catches me off guard are the ones not in spawn and are from least expected locations. I do the same against enemy planes.
I agree. Planes get there own mode. It's like bringing a knife to a gun fight. I suppose another option would be to stop replaying your death so you know where the tank is, so you can't just spawn in a plane and go on a revenge kill

A ground only mode sounds pretty boring in my opinion. Though I also think air only is boring so maybe I'm not a good judge. Either way I'd be surprised if very many people actually played a ground only mode.

If that's you, it's because you weren't being careful enough and presented yourself as easy prey. Second, every plane can be shot down, even by a simple light machine gun. Even better if you have a dedicated spaa in your line up. I love shooting down planes as much as playing CAS, and there's nothing that ruins a CAS run faster than a skill AA player, or someone that is a crack shot with their main gun. Even if an AA doesn't kill a plane they can at least deny them a fair chunk of safe air space, which puts pressure on them so they are less proficient with their runs, and also alerts their position to other friendly aircraft. In short, you are almost never completely defenseless against planes. Between playing smart and not making yourself an easy target, and being proficient at shooting them down either from the ground or in your own plane, they really aren't that big of an issue. Besides, I bet people don't complain about CAS when the good pilots are on their team, do they? Again, ground forces without CAS would really be a bore. But there is always "the other" tank game you could play that don't have any planes, but we don't mention that games name here.

With 100+ and higher booster: Air: -fully uptiered -team appreciates houses and trees below -you get gang raped by at least 3 enemy fighters -get kill stolen -AI AAA gets aimbot and cooks your engine Ground: -fully uptiered -you get to fight Wittman and Carius incarnates -team gets nuked by a Pe-8 -get strafed while your AAA misses, or at best, hitmarks. -get strafed to death while well-concealed in your open-top vehicle -you get yeeted from halfway across the map at your spawn -allies vs axis at fucking top tier, and you get brainless XM1 and TURMS players all by your side -receive a direct hit from artillery and get killed

One booster is enough to make you play with monkeys in your team while the other is 90% made of pros, imagine two booster... You probaly use almost all of the bad luck you would have in one year in one match.

They need to put the reward for shooting down aircraft as a fighter back up. A couple of years ago, the quickest way to 1st place was shooting down CAS. Then they nerfed the reward, less people played fighters. Now look at it. :D
Sometimes u just wanna play something that has no armor but a powerful main gun like stur emil or nashron so u can sit back in bush and wipe enemy out , but usually get wipe out by P47 or something else that can ignroe friendly AA and drop a 500 kg bomb right on your face . I have 1,300 hours in WT and from my experience, boosters negatively effect your RNG. You'll bounce shots that you've killed people with hundreds of times. Enemy crew mates will turn yellow or red instead of outright dying in what you KNOW should have been a one shot kill. Enemy ammo getting hit directly and not exploding, but yours turns light green and your tank goes off like a rocket. Sure it can always happen, but boosters make it worse. I'm sure it's done intentionally to make it more grindy so you spend money on premium.
Absolutely. Played some air battles earlier with boosters on. All my planes destroyed, one after the other, almost immediately. Each time it only took 1-2 rounds for my pilot to die, engine explode, wings rip off. During the very small window I had to actually attack, all small hits, no kills. Round before that I had 8 player kills, 10 ground target kills.
Either make counters to Cas, ai flax or Sams around the map, make a seperate tanks only game mode, or make aircraft far more expensive in tank Rb, something needs to change
Force a limit on what class of vehicle can be picked in a match. Force players to actually pick something meant for anti cas rather than letting people spam out frontliners. Actually encourage usage of other vehicles like SPGs, TDs, and SPAAs.
The fact that i grinded this shit back in the day so hard and have a majority of Premiums, this is the one thing that makes me really regret having played it. Never looked back
Two days ago I remember activating some +150/300% boosters to SL and RP while grinding out the T64/80 line. Mate, for some fucked up reason i had awesome games before and as soon as I activated these mfs my teams went apeshit and everyone in the enemy team and their grandmother became Otto Carius etc.

The only problem I have with arcade is it's mostly run and gun. At least with realistic you have somewhat of an ability to hide. I do like both still

Tank breakdown is very common on ww2 tank maybe not randomly destroyed but randomly your suspension break so you need to repair it.

CAS shouldn't be removed, but gaijin should remove the kill cam (only show the bullet hitting you) and make planes spawn in airport
The fact that i grinded this shit back in the day so hard and have a majority of Premiums, this is the one thing that makes me really regret having played it. Never looked back

These things happen to me every day , i can't anymore
Two days ago I remember activating some +150/300% boosters to SL and RP while grinding out the T64/80 line. Mate, for some fucked up reason i had awesome games before and as soon as I activated these mfs my teams went apeshit and everyone in the enemy team and their grandmother became Otto Carius etc.
Gaijin don't make a game mode with only ground vehicles because then no one would play planes anymore, and they would loose money 😨
Surely, a skill difference.

Just add up SPAA to my line up and feel so satisfied taking down those CAS

Us ground players are pretty much those ai ground targets in Air Arcade battles
