thousand below opened for them 2 years ago and they were actually super good live
"The Love You Let To Close" which came out in 2017 is still one of the best post hardcore debut albums I've ever heard. This new song is quite decent. Will have to listen to it with proper audio rather than shitty phone speakers.
They definitely peaked with their first album, not to say the music since is bad.. it’s just pretty bland & uninspired.

Actually can't believe Thousand Below got some traction. Their last album was straight up fire and with this single they're saying that they've still got it.
Glas this band is getting some more exposure, definitely underrated imo.
I god damn love the tone guitar of this guys; Disassociate was my most played song of 2019

Thousand below are one of my favourite bands. The love you let too close album was a banger. I have been listening to them for many many moons. Highly recommend 💜

saw them open for bad omens a month before covid, hadn’t listened to them before i saw em. they were alright but did not compare to the other bands that played imo
Im with Ohrion on this one Thousand Below been doing this, TLYLTC came out in 2017 and honestly this is pretty on par for that genre. Not like they sad Bad Omens blow up and decided to copy them lol
No this sounds like "Gone In Your Wake" to me. Both bands got started around the same time. Sure, Thousand Below with their last album went in a lighter direction but their older stuff sounds a lot like this.

damn this is actually shocking to me, I love Thousand Below and they are lowkey a top band for me and this song did not do it for me at all, i thought it was pretty just... meh. But hey i'm not going to complain that i really didn't care for it especially when other people really liked it so i'm glad you guys did. cheers!

@@breafleming6416 their old stuff is way heavier than their newer stuff. Sempiternal is one of my favorite albums and is pretty heavy. It was one of their early albums. But I said their newer stuff because it’s much less heavy and a lot more “poppy”. But that’s just my opinion and what I hear.
