Castillo won that fight why is not being highlighted because Mayweather publicity stunts. He is a frsud.
If only people new, Castillo didn't even like boxing, he started doing it for the money. He bearly trained for his fights and yet he showed Floy could be outscored. There is a great interview he recently did, Morales and Barrera have podcast (youtube channel) and invited Castillo to it, they shared all these little aspects of a boxer's life we never get to know. Hope Castillo finally found joy on the job he has.
Yeah he was kinda like a Muay Thai fighter in boxing tho. Really only fought for money and didn’t invest his soul into the sport which is good for some and bad for others who don’t make it. I disagree. I don't think Castillo was landing that cleanly. The judges know what to look for and I think they noticed. Generally, Floyd seemed to control the action, shooting in with sharp jabs, and landing some good crisp counter hooks as Castillo came in to fire back. It was close, but to me Floyd was landing the better, more effective shots and controlling the fight more than most realize. While plenty of judges are corrupt, you have to remember that most of them are truly experts of the sport. I feel like Teddy Atlas, Emannuel Steward, the best minds in boxing would probably tell you Floyd won this one.

Floyd landed more effective punches towards the ending, Castillo wanted a KO even after the bell rung. I think it was at the end of the 9th rounds when I remember May throwing a punch and landing it on Castillo and the ref didn't take a point away, but Castillo had a point taken away earlier. Floyd landed more effective punches towards the ending, Castillo wanted a KO even after the bell rung. He kept grabbing him pushing him, but Floyd counter attacked him hard and he actually fully connected his hits. He was controlling da fight perfectly , and Castillo was playing dirty the whole time
