I am really into a lot of the various Black Metal sub-genres (i.e., Gothic, Atmospheric, Symphonic, Progressive, Technical, Folk/Pagan, Christian etc...) Dark Jazz is something a little different. I like it a lot. Very cinematic I think... IMHO.
"Father" got to me. The hospital equipment sounds hit in places that I wish they hadn't, which is pribably exactly what you were hoing for. Masterful work.

Damn that's some great work ! Pretty much as for black metal, i love listening to dark jazz in my room, in the dark. Yeah i know it sound very edgy, but this to say, you're doing great, keep it up !
i especially like nighthawks because it embodies a dissociation/depression i’m very familiar with and out of all the songs i’ve listened to in that genre, none were jazz and none could depict it well enough. but this? oh yeah baby.

Correct, all the songs from this EP are based on the real stories (despite the fact that there's no lyrics, i think it's understandable from the context) The song father is about the death from a lung cancer.
This is exactly what I was looking for, well the essence and emotions I was looking for. This is really good I love it. Can't make me more depressed tho but its always good to try hehe
I can’t be the only kid that never had dreams. Grew up poor, dad alcoholic, drug addict, mother sick, overworked, my sister always on party. Me lonely in the little room with the tv I found in the garbage playing on my ps2, watching porn I found in my dads wardrobe. Just me, my anxiety and no hopes. Now I’m an adult and still I can’t feel happiness or hope. Will I ever? Idk. But I shouldn’t complain some kids in this sick world not even have food. So was I blessed?
Hello, just bought this on bandcamp -- awesome music! I'm curious, could you share what reverb you are using for the "far back" instrument effects? A plugin, or hardware, or...? Thanks!
Hi Michael Thank you! Different stuff for different tracks. For guitar leads, I'm basically using vintage boss digital reverb pedal, sometimes adding custom delay pedal. Speaking about VST - I do not have a favorite, but I like how GR5 reverb/delay effects sound. Furthermore, you can easily maintain it by graph that makes it useful when you need to 'increase the atmosphere'. For 'Father' song, I was using Dunlop Crybaby + Boss reverb.
Hey @HearseTV , I was just wondering if you'd be interested in allowing me to use your music in my audiobook? I wouldnt expect a yes or no until I showed you a sample, of course, but I just wanted to do an initial reach out and see if thats something you'd be open to considering. I've been listening to your music for years and it often accompanies my writing sessions. Thanks!
Not sure why, but I am actually having positive feeling from your album, might be I've listened to too much DSBM bands. Been looking for good bands which somehow connects metal (any subgenre) with jazz and you've actually done insanely good work, thanks.
also, you might wanna start an fb page to get this to more people. yes fb is cancer most of the time, but it's still the fastest way to get your stuff out there. and this definitely deserves to be heard.
Thanks! Well, I actually do have. Just have no idea how to manage it ) I really like Bohren, but I don't like that every song sounds the same. I prefer to play with the sound.
Oh my. So those really freaky, dark, weird dreams I've had all my life now have a soundtrack. My dreams swim in this thick, black cream.

Still one of the best albums that I've heard in my entire life
I am listening to this album always when I feel lost and betrayed. I was doing it a lot in 2017 now I’m here again..
I really like this kind of music. It reminds me of dark times in my life in a crime-show way. That's actually inspiring for crime stories 🤔
