I love how so many people uploaded videos and build guides for a game that is in the beta and just to level 25 characters. And already i have seen so much synergy and crazy damage. I hope this type of build diversity keeps on ramping up troughout the whole game and that this is not everything we can expect. From an article i read that there is much much more to come because of crazy items and item skills. Can't wait for the release tbh. Can't wait for the next beta, still 2 more days and im starving... Waiting for another 2 months will be rough lol
The drop rate is crazy generous during the beta, there's no way we'll get this many legendaries on the official release. But yea it's still very cool to see what's available and all the theorycrafting of skill sets and builds.

I'll be streaming non stop this weekend playing rogue and posting more UA-cam videos of gameplay and skill combos, lets see if I can beat my highest 20k crit this weekend, I'm too the point where elites die on the initial hit of twisting blades though and I cant see the returning blades frozen damage 🤣. I can't lie, last day of the beta I tried shadow imbuement and man it was insane AoE damage lol I got hooked, but will most likely go back Ice this Open beta and probably make a hardcore rogue or just keep on spamming dungeons making more content on the main rogue
@@icebox6914 I could not decide between the two, so I skipped dark shroud / concealment and used both :D got the aspect that lets your clone use your imbuements and gives it a lot more dmg for a few seconds. There are some nice imbuement legendaries that might be great if you can stack them.
Personally I had the most fun with traps and poison imbue. Its good for bosses but also clears entire screens quite fast. But it was kind of hybrid between melee and range. So lots of options.
Many would disagree, my first ever ARPG was Diablo 3 on release and only got to play about half a year before I got hooked on another game, now that it’s been 11 years since then, this feels refreshing
Note If you cant find the imbuement aspect, having twisting blade aspect also helps freeze targets faster when the blades spin around you, Also one thing I would change now that I’ve started using Puncture is swapping blade shift for puncture>vulnerable passive, also another very important note which I am using in every clip is using conceal before 3 point twisting blades for the guaranteed crit, have fun everyone and drop by the stream this weekend 😁
I would also add one minor detail that isn't overly needed but if ya wanted even more damage for melee builds you want to run a crossbow instead of regular bow as the inherent vulnerable damage boost helps you where as the distant enemies does not. Amazing build sir!
@@2five2_gaming this was talked about on stream, it was a hard choice because the bow stats I had were so good and couldn’t get lucky with a crossbow, then we talked about twisting blades if used right, the returning blade will be “distant” since you dash away to hit as many targets on the return, so it evens out, great note though 👍

Really, really low damage for 400+ weapons. With 330 weapons...barb hitting for nearly 30k..bleed ticks for 2k and consumed for over 20k. Wish people would be more honest about their builds.
I did mention in at the start that my gear in the every clip was day 2 of the beta and was around 550 attack power. You can see I’m using 340 weapons at 8:43 -pause.
this would be so much stronger if you switch out your basic ability for puncture. also the combo is Ult> Dash> Puncture> Imbue> Conceal> Twisting Blades x2 > Puncture.

I was sad about the bow being weaker than melee dps wise. If the auto arrow storm aspect has 100% proc like twisting blades it would've been a different story but bows already have the range advantage.
What method did u use to get lvl20 gear? I tried farming lvl35 molten elite with re-logging exploit - in 2hr not a single lvl20-25 yellow. I farmed dungeons and random worlds event for the rest of the time and didnt equip a single lvl20 yellow/leg (i was steamrolling everything, not the case of slow build). That would be entire 3 days of beta (about 30hrs). Given we all had only about the same amount of time, u had to have a reliable method of obtaining high lvl gear, since the results are night and day.
So to be honest I must have gotten extremely lucky because I couldnt be bothered farming the lvl 35 boss for longer than 2 hours and within those 2 hours I got 2 daggers from him, the rest of my gear is just from dungeon spamming, no real reliable method, if I got bored of dungeons I did go check that lvl 30 zone that has an event every now and then. Goodluck though this weekend.
*Note Twisting Blades Aspect ALSO applies chill while spinning around you up to 2 stacks and it takes 3 stacks to chill an enemy so for example. Cold Imbuement > Twisting Blade =+1 chill , then they spin around you twice which applies 2chills = 3chills *frozen*
So far, rogue looks like the most well rounded in most of its builds. Got 2 very good range builds and 3 melee builds. But for my money the shadow imbuement is the most consistent on both bosses, aoe and elites. This is a fun spec too

Curious as I never got that legendary with that affect but would it also do same with say shadow imbue? Where the explosion would happen instnstly around you and you would auto vulnerability every enemy? Without that Lego you had to kill a marked enemy to cause the explosion so I’m very curious now
Yes the Aspect worked with all Imbues, so you would get an explosion from Shadow or even poison up to 3 times, the initial cast> the first and second proc of imbue all explode
Great video! This is a very nice build and fast too! I'd say you kill faster than my light sorc a tad. the mobility movement speed is almost as fast as my sorc. My build has 3 x teleports at my disposal and almost 0 CD.
3 point twisting blade give a 60 increased movement speed and that paired with 2x dashes 😅 we are zooming through dungeons which why it looks sped up but it’s honestly regular speed. Thank you though Espertix, hope you have a great time in the open beta, can’t wait
Why not using Inner Sights? Using it you would have almost no CDs on your skills thanks to the Amulet imprint and could more or less endlessly spam Twisting Blade. Anyway at least something different than always watching Shadow imbument builds. By the way I would suggest uploading your build on youtube (lothrik), it makes its clearer without having to go back and forth in your video
Didnt know about lothrik, will look into it. The main reason I mentioned I dont use innersight is because the boss dies because I can even proc innersight 😅lol, now vs the world boss, 100% innersight
Am i the only one finding it strange that you can already fully legendary gear yourself in ACT 1? I feel this should be blue’S only territory with a single rare option.
Most people use shadow imbuement which I loved for leveling. But because it does a fixed dmg value vs a percentage, I think it won't be valuable later on. I think because of the percentage dmg and the cc this ice build will be strong later on. One question though> You showed an imprint that gives you increased dmg while having a barrier...which skill or item gives you the barrier?
another great replacement is an aspect that says "every basic skill increases your next cores ability by % and it stacks" I was able to find 3 twisting blade aspects within the closed beta that is playing non stop doing dungeons, also some aspects I only got to see once like the imbuement explosion aspect so it's all luck, hopefully you have some this weekend.
Looks fun. But seems every-one is using same core skill with the legenday power. everyone played the same in beta. That does not look good for D4 build variety. Strenght of this build is not in the freeze but in the twisting blades legendary aspect item. Every melee rogue ended up with the same main dmg skill and that is not good. Also you can't freeze bosses, so this build is not all that viable really. Shadow is better, cause it can do dmg to bosses and make enemies vulnerable and works for trash clears too, thx to the explosions it can trigger.
@@icebox6914 shadow increases crit chance by 25%, spreads vulnerability, has dot for elites, explosion for trash and passives to refund energy cost when used with skill. Poison is best for bosses. Cold for trash. Shadow has everything.
Vs world boss and you want to maximize damage I would find a poison build with poison trap and poison imbue, using inner sight instead of combo points and poisoning and just spamming twisting blades onto the boss and shadow stepping behind him anytime he runs away or uses any mechanic, while keeping shadow clone on cooldown 👍
@@icebox6914 I hope they allow for a build loadout system so that you can have both a mob clear and a boss kill build without filling up half of your inventory.
@@peejae082004 sadly they already acknowledged that swapping talents end-game will be punishing/expensive so hopefully that's not case and we do get some kinda loadout
This is such a hyperbolic sample though. You’ve clearly used the 35 unique mob farm. You also need to understand that we’re not going to see this many legendaries this early on come launch. Your build is fun though and for sure could be strong come endgame. The Crit is exciting but also over-tuned for testing.
all the clips in this video I had 558 attack power without any gear from the lvl 35 mob, the intro gear though is what I ended the closed beta with having 2 daggers from the lvl 35 mob which I got pretty lucky getting both within an hour on the last day of the beta, everything else is from dungeons though. But yea in this video, all the gear is straight from dungeons and leveled up to 3-4 stars, nothing else. hopefully they do reduce the legendary drops

Nice well put guide bro! I just made a video for the Sorc but it now where close to killing speed vs bosses. I dont think I have crits go more than 1k, but Im missing the "barrier on" + X% legendary.
Definitely fun especially when you paired with a frost sorcerer, it is the highest crit damage Ive seen in any rogue video, but it lacks weakness towards bosses or mass AoE clear compared to shadow
Strongest single target damage vs elites 100% , while leveling up as Ice I had no issues vs bosses even though it’s considered weak since bosses can’t be Crowd controlled.
yes easily one of the best with stuns and slows, we don't know how late game builds are going to be yet, I'll be more focused on pvp buillds in the future
@@soulbakin Its not skill... its stupid beta issue. How the game works... the majority of codex aspects are what you need to keep builds roling. And the GAME was desinged around it. Around the fact that after the prologue you GO and speak to Inarius Pope women and go seek the affixes from codex of power your build need.
you're dreaming lol, sadly the world boss cant be chilled or frozen so im missing out on close to 100% damage, so I would probably change to poison just for the world boss
Interesting I haven't seen any real concealment crit playstyles, especially not using Cold! I think you could have done more single hit damage if your combo was instead of Imbue>Dash>Conceal>Twisting Blade ---> Imbue>Conceal>TB>Dash so that the returning blade is buffed by the Frozen effect as well as Dash. I think the combo you were doing was too long considering you always had to walk back to the mob in order to TB and they were just cold and no longer frozen at that point. It would be even better if Imbue does not break Conceal, then you could Conceal>Imbue>TB>Dash.
walking back to mob wasnt a problem with conceal giving movement speed, also dashing first is to buff the initial hit of TB by 20% , also for my combo the returning blade is still on a frozen target

Nice build bro. I made something similar and tried all imbues with the 2nd specialization to spam core skill at bosses like crazy and was epic. You can free that legendary slot giving resources for a dps one . My only concern would be when we get to high-density monsters later in the game we have to use shadow 100% sadly .
why? high density mobs have low hp shadow is just a convenience not a necessity. Just line them up twisting blade -> dash and the line is dead when the blades return.
@@nojustno3331 it rly depends on how the density of monsters are spread and how much time you spend lining them up . maybe i am wrong , i am thinking from a POE perspective maybe where in line skills with a melee class are not the best for clear .
@@olderbadboy if their hp is so high that 3 combo twisted blade + dash doesn't kill, then shadow isn't going to make the diff imo. Also I fully expect end game is going to be dashing from elite to elite and from chest to chest. Big groups of mobs don't need to be fully cleared if the drop rates aren't good as we saw in beta.
I also tried and theory crafted different imbuements and ice has a weakness vs bosses for sure but has the highest single target damage on elites, poison is great vs bosses and shadow is great for aoe clearing dungeons, I tried inner sight and I didn’t get value from it since I was already very geared where bosses died before inner sight even procced, so I just stuck with combo points, against the world boss, 100% go innersight, but every build has a strength, just pick a fun play style in the end 😁
I was out here struggling taking 5 attempts to kill bosses and this man is making them drop from 100%-0 in 3 seconds. Looks like I played rogue very wrong
Just proper knowledge on what gear to look for mainly focusing on damage instead of defense and then maxing out combo point effectiveness not wasting energy using a core ability on 0-1 combo points, making sure to always get to 3
They are overpowered at least for the beta once you start killing bosses in 3 seconds, but I agree I can’t wait to see how the difficulty will increase and builds will change
Gear with all the damage aspects plays a huge part in it, also proper skill orders to open with , Clone > Imbue > 3 points > Dash> Concealment > Twisting Blades . Repeat
cool to watch., some big numbers and good synergy. played ice bow with rapid fire myself. the boss kills look a little sped up...? and those big bosses also dont get chilled/frozen, i believe? happy to be corrected
100% none of my boss clips in this video or my previous ones aren’t sped up, it actually looks sped up because the movements speed I get from 3 point twisting blades, just properly using concealment crit on a 3 point twisting blade with shadow clone out, while having decent gear just blows up the boss, my previous video I actually show some slowed down boss clips to see what I’m pressing, Ice has a weakness towards bosses since they can’t be chilled or frozen, but their is an aspect which increases your damage vs unstoppable enemies by up too 50% which stacked with the other aspects I show 2:44, damage can get crazy, glad you liked the video ❤ all respect to your rapid fire ice build
Great question, for both CC duration on freeze or daze as well as when you fight any boss at the end of the dungeon or world boss, they are unstoppable so I’m getting 50% against them. I didn’t notice any unstoppable elites
I was wondering whether this dmg bonus applies to bosses aswell. I put the affix on amulet for +70% dmg against bosses specifically. During the boss fight i compared numbers with amu equipped and uneqipped and didnt notice any dmg difference. Could it be bugged only in some cases (tested with rogue fan of knives)? Can you confirm that in ur tests it worked as expected against bosses? Or can it be that the 2nd effect would work only against some rare elite affixes that werent in playable demo?
as cool as this is, (and this is not at the discredit of you at all, this is really impressive) it worries me how much damage we're able to achieve at just level 25. Hoping it doesnt just turn into diablo 3 again where you one shot everything including bosses.
On the "Basic Attacks grant 25% damage reduction", do you know if it actually works? I noticed that if you mouse over the buff when you attack an enemy, it says "Damage Reduction 0%". Not sure if it's bugged.
It works exactly like it says. But theressome damage reduction stuff that dont show and dont show on the character sheet that works but you dont see. This beta build its almost 4 months old its the same build the journalist played.
if you're melee do you even need to upgrade your bow and add gems into its sockets? im confused. i thought if you are melee only you only get the damage from your melee weapons?
Becouse the Bonus it gives... apply to everything. The weapon damage wont apply but the status and attributes will. I was ranged. But my daggers both did damage increase, and damage increased to ranged.

Aspects will be a lot harder to find on launch, they were increased for the beta so I will make a video before the release of Diablo4 on a less relied aspect build. I will also share my favorite build path. Youll see more from me in the future ❤

@@rpervan also yes you can get all the aspects from dungeon spamming but they did announce that aspect drops are increased for the beta, so making a build less relied on aspects for now is the play.
@@icebox6914 yeah you definitely need the aspect that causes the imbument to apply the effect when casting as aoe, otherwise freezing doesn't happen too often. I like shadow, but I'm a big PvP guy and I feel like slowing players down with cold will be more effective. Obviously time will tell but I can imagine explosions on death will be useful. But then again maybe we won't even get PvP lol
so vs the world boss the best build in my opinion is just swapping cold imbue with a maxed out poison imbue, also going innersight instead of combo points since you can just spam twisting blades on the world boss and change concealment for poison trap or shadowstep where you shadowstep behind him when he uses a mechanic. Damage would still be very high, you'd probably be topping the damage charts if their was one.
I tried all imbuements last day of beta and all bosses were dying in less then 5 seconds with any imbuement, I just put geared the dungeon, but while leveling up I agree with you that vs bosses, poison would be the best, but dungeon clear vs elites is 95% of it so I’d rather AoE clear with Shadow or 1 Shot elites with Ice, that’s my play style though 😁
You can do something similar with everything. Theres afixes for mode damage in every cc. Like more damage to freeze, or mor damage to slow. And then theres the more damage to cced monsters. CHILL SLOW apply to every mob even bosses and it counts for the generic cc affix. Theres a poison build you point then BLOW the whole poison with 1skill. ETC. Believe me play what you want on release. Just read the codex of power, plan a build around it to start and go get those affixes. And It will carry you to the paragon levels.
I just felt like playing something unique that would synergies with other friends playing also playing ice, I did end up switching to the dark side using shadow imbue towards the final day of the beta, I didn’t see a reason for poison since everything was dying including bosses with in seconds before poison could have any value, vs the world boss though I would use poison, but I recommend using any build you have fun with
not every viewer is fluent in english so maybe it helps them understand, not doing it on purpose though haha thats just how I talk 😅, Ive seen several people mention the D3 mistakes seeing this damage, I didnt play Diablo 3 during those "mistakes" but hopefully once release the legendary drop rate is lowered and we don't have this out-scaling problem, I'm hopeful though since you will be able to increase difficulty end game with dungeon mutations.
Nice build, I didn't find the key legendary for this build in early access but if I do in beta i'll try it out. Also, I think if you put 5 points into dash, the boots should push it to 7 total giving you faster cd. Though this may not be optimal for the build, but thought I'd mention it in case you didn't know armor skill bonuses push skills past their limit. Thanks for the video, nice work.
I ran non stop dungeons and to be honest have only seen the aspect drop once, but another good aspect that helps apply more chill and freeze is twisting blades aspect which each spin around you applies a chill and chance for freeze and just taking any other damage increase aspect, also I did notice skills go beyond 5 so stacking twisting blade rank ups would be best, thanks for the comment though, respect ❤ rogue diary
Sorceress damage also extremely strong! Now for rogues, I have the same thought when I see other rogue videos I see using Flurry or Poison traps or Ranged they take about 15-30+ seconds to kill a boss

It does... but majority of end game beta testers ive seen are completly potatos. Theres guys level 60-70 that dont deal this damage.

Just use barrage it spreads it to more enemies if your gonna use aoe and freeze use aoe skills not single-three target abilities.

they will "try" to balance pvp but Im already expecting a few broken builds for pvp, who can 1 shot each other first

*Note Twisting Blades Aspect ALSO applies chill while spinning around you up to 2 stacks and it takes 3 stacks to chill an enemy so for example. Cold Imbuement > Twisting Blade =+1 chill , then they spin around you twice which applies 2chills = 3chills *frozen*

So far, rogue looks like the most well rounded in most of its builds. Got 2 very good range builds and 3 melee builds. But for my money the shadow imbuement is the most consistent on both bosses, aoe and elites.

Curious as I never got that legendary with that affect but would it also do same with say shadow imbue? Where the explosion would happen instnstly around you and you would auto vulnerability every enemy? Without that Lego you had to kill a marked enemy to cause the explosion so I’m very curious now
Yes the Aspect worked with all Imbues, so you would get an explosion from Shadow or even poison up to 3 times, the initial cast> the first and second proc of imbue all explode

Great video! This is a very nice build and fast too! I'd say you kill faster than my light sorc a tad. the mobility movement speed is almost as fast as my sorc. My build has 3 x teleports at my disposal and almost 0 CD.
3 point twisting blade give a 60 increased movement speed and that paired with 2x dashes 😅 we are zooming through dungeons which why it looks sped up but it’s honestly regular speed. Thank you though Espertix, hope you have a great time in the open beta, can’t wait

Why not using Inner Sights? Using it you would have almost no CDs on your skills thanks to the Amulet imprint and could more or less endlessly spam Twisting Blade. Anyway at least something different than always watching Shadow imbument builds. By the way I would suggest uploading your build on youtube (lothrik), it makes its clearer without having to go back and forth in your video
Didnt know about lothrik, will look into it. The main reason I mentioned I dont use innersight is because the boss dies because I can even proc innersight 😅lol, now vs the world boss, 100% innersight

Most people use shadow imbuement which I loved for leveling. But because it does a fixed dmg value vs a percentage, I think it won't be valuable later on. I think because of the percentage dmg and the cc this ice build will be strong later on. One question though> You showed an imprint that gives you increased dmg while having a barrier...which skill or item gives you the barrier?
I believe so also, even poison could be very strong, you can pause on my chest piece at 0:04 😊have fun this weekend

Didnt got the whirling blades legendary in my poison rogue build, seems it would be much more powerfull.
another great replacement is an aspect that says "every basic skill increases your next cores ability by % and it stacks" I was able to find 3 twisting blade aspects within the closed beta that is playing non stop doing dungeons, also some aspects I only got to see once like the imbuement explosion aspect so it's all luck, hopefully you have some this weekend.

Looks fun. But seems every-one is using same core skill with the legenday power. everyone played the same in beta. That does not look good for D4 build variety. Strenght of this build is not in the freeze but in the twisting blades legendary aspect item. Every melee rogue ended up with the same main dmg skill and that is not good.
Also you can't freeze bosses, so this build is not all that viable really. Shadow is better, cause it can do dmg to bosses and make enemies vulnerable and works for trash clears too, thx to the explosions it can trigger.
I think poison will be the go too without aspects as a solo player
@@icebox6914 shadow increases crit chance by 25%, spreads vulnerability, has dot for elites, explosion for trash and passives to refund energy cost when used with skill.
Poison is best for bosses.
Cold for trash.
Shadow has everything.
does the freezing and chill affect bosses? or just elites?
It does not affect bosses, so it’s slightly weaker vs boss compared to using poison

Vs world boss and you want to maximize damage I would find a poison build with poison trap and poison imbue, using inner sight instead of combo points and poisoning and just spamming twisting blades onto the boss and shadow stepping behind him anytime he runs away or uses any mechanic, while keeping shadow clone on cooldown 👍
@@icebox6914 I hope they allow for a build loadout system so that you can have both a mob clear and a boss kill build without filling up half of your inventory.
@@peejae082004 sadly they already acknowledged that swapping talents end-game will be punishing/expensive so hopefully that's not case and we do get some kinda loadout
This is such a hyperbolic sample though. You’ve clearly used the 35 unique mob farm. You also need to understand that we’re not going to see this many legendaries this early on come launch. Your build is fun though and for sure could be strong come endgame. The Crit is exciting but also over-tuned for testing.
all the clips in this video I had 558 attack power without any gear from the lvl 35 mob, the intro gear though is what I ended the closed beta with having 2 daggers from the lvl 35 mob which I got pretty lucky getting both within an hour on the last day of the beta, everything else is from dungeons though. But yea in this video, all the gear is straight from dungeons and leveled up to 3-4 stars, nothing else. hopefully they do reduce the legendary drops
Supposedly they’re saying we shouldn’t see legendaries until at least level 25. I do love the build though. ❤ Great video showcasing how much fun the rogue is.

Definitely fun especially when you paired with a frost sorcerer, it is the highest crit damage Ive seen in any rogue video, but it lacks weakness towards bosses or mass AoE clear compared to shadow

I had a legendary that gave me a shadow clone every time I used dash along with like 200% damage. It was pretty sick
i think this is the strongest build ive seen so far
Strongest single target damage vs elites 100% , while leveling up as Ice I had no issues vs bosses even though it’s considered weak since bosses can’t be Crowd controlled.

yes easily one of the best with stuns and slows, we don't know how late game builds are going to be yet, I'll be more focused on pvp buillds in the future

How the game works... the majority of codex aspects are what you need to keep builds roling. And the GAME was desinged around it.
Around the fact that after the prologue you GO and speak to Inarius Pope women and go seek the affixes from codex of power your build need.

you're dreaming lol, sadly the world boss cant be chilled or frozen so im missing out on close to 100% damage, so I would probably change to poison just for the world boss
Interesting I haven't seen any real concealment crit playstyles, especially not using Cold! I think you could have done more single hit damage if your combo was instead of Imbue>Dash>Conceal>Twisting Blade ---> Imbue>Conceal>TB>Dash so that the returning blade is buffed by the Frozen effect as well as Dash. I think the combo you were doing was too long considering you always had to walk back to the mob in order to TB and they were just cold and no longer frozen at that point. It would be even better if Imbue does not break Conceal, then you could Conceal>Imbue>TB>Dash.
walking back to mob wasnt a problem with conceal giving movement speed, also dashing first is to buff the initial hit of TB by 20% , also for my combo the returning blade is still on a frozen target

Nice build bro. I made something similar and tried all imbues with the 2nd specialization to spam core skill at bosses like crazy and was epic. You can free that legendary slot giving resources for a dps one . My only concern would be when we get to high-density monsters later in the game we have to use shadow 100% sadly .
something tells me there will be leggos boosting other types of imbuments. Shadow is dope but I doubt itll be the end all be all
why? high density mobs have low hp shadow is just a convenience not a necessity. Just line them up twisting blade -> dash and the line is dead when the blades return.
@@nojustno3331 it rly depends on how the density of monsters are spread and how much time you spend lining them up . maybe i am wrong , i am thinking from a POE perspective maybe where in line skills with a melee class are not the best for clear .
@@olderbadboy if their hp is so high that 3 combo twisted blade + dash doesn't kill, then shadow isn't going to make the diff imo. Also I fully expect end game is going to be dashing from elite to elite and from chest to chest. Big groups of mobs don't need to be fully cleared if the drop rates aren't good as we saw in beta.
I also tried and theory crafted different imbuements and ice has a weakness vs bosses for sure but has the highest single target damage on elites, poison is great vs bosses and shadow is great for aoe clearing dungeons, I tried inner sight and I didn’t get value from it since I was already very geared where bosses died before inner sight even procced, so I just stuck with combo points, against the world boss, 100% go innersight, but every build has a strength, just pick a fun play style in the end 😁
I was out here struggling taking 5 attempts to kill bosses and this man is making them drop from 100%-0 in 3 seconds. Looks like I played rogue very wrong
Just proper knowledge on what gear to look for mainly focusing on damage instead of defense and then maxing out combo point effectiveness not wasting energy using a core ability on 0-1 combo points, making sure to always get to 3
funny how people say these builds are OP. They will do significantly less damage on torment levels..
They are overpowered at least for the beta once you start killing bosses in 3 seconds, but I agree I can’t wait to see how the difficulty will increase and builds will change

Gear with all the damage aspects plays a huge part in it, also proper skill orders to open with , Clone > Imbue > 3 points > Dash> Concealment > Twisting Blades . Repeat
I think the game is bugged. I took 2 chars to level 25 and never saw a single legendary drop.
You must have gotten extremely unlucky or bugged, after 25 I noticed a guarantee legendary 1-2 per dungeon

100% none of my boss clips in this video or my previous ones aren’t sped up, it actually looks sped up because the movements speed I get from 3 point twisting blades, just properly using concealment crit on a 3 point twisting blade with shadow clone out, while having decent gear just blows up the boss, my previous video I actually show some slowed down boss clips to see what I’m pressing, Ice has a weakness towards bosses since they can’t be chilled or frozen, but their is an aspect which increases your damage vs unstoppable enemies by up too 50% which stacked with the other aspects I show 2:44, damage can get crazy, glad you liked the video ❤ all respect to your rapid fire ice build
Are you using the 20% CC / 50% unstoppable damage aspect just for the CC duration or is there some Unstoppable mechanic following a mob CC?
Great question, for both CC duration on freeze or daze as well as when you fight any boss at the end of the dungeon or world boss, they are unstoppable so I’m getting 50% against them. I didn’t notice any unstoppable elites
I was wondering whether this dmg bonus applies to bosses aswell. I put the affix on amulet for +70% dmg against bosses specifically. During the boss fight i compared numbers with amu equipped and uneqipped and didnt notice any dmg difference. Could it be bugged only in some cases (tested with rogue fan of knives)? Can you confirm that in ur tests it worked as expected against bosses? Or can it be that the 2nd effect would work only against some rare elite affixes that werent in playable demo?
as cool as this is, (and this is not at the discredit of you at all, this is really impressive) it worries me how much damage we're able to achieve at just level 25. Hoping it doesnt just turn into diablo 3 again where you one shot everything including bosses.

On the "Basic Attacks grant 25% damage reduction", do you know if it actually works? I noticed that if you mouse over the buff when you attack an enemy, it says "Damage Reduction 0%". Not sure if it's bugged.
It works exactly like it says. But theressome damage reduction stuff that dont show and dont show on the character sheet that works but you dont see.
This beta build its almost 4 months old its the same build the journalist played.
I also recognized that seeing it said 0% but I didn’t test it

Nah sorc is for sure but rogues pretty close. Sorcs are basically this OP from level 1.
if you're melee do you even need to upgrade your bow and add gems into its sockets? im confused. i thought if you are melee only you only get the damage from your melee weapons?
of course you want gems, gems give stats that apply to all skills. It's what is gonna make barb so op late game
Becouse the Bonus it gives... apply to everything.
The weapon damage wont apply but the status and attributes will.
I was ranged. But my daggers both did damage increase, and damage increased to ranged.

Aspects will be a lot harder to find on launch, they were increased for the beta so I will make a video before the release of Diablo4 on a less relied aspect build. I will also share my favorite build path. Youll see more from me in the future ❤

@@rpervan also yes you can get all the aspects from dungeon spamming but they did announce that aspect drops are increased for the beta, so making a build less relied on aspects for now is the play.
I've seen several rogue build videos and this is my favourite by far! Look forward to trying it myself
its very dependent on that imbue aspect I show to freeze targets very easily, if you dont have it, its a lot harder to freeze your target

@@icebox6914 yeah you definitely need the aspect that causes the imbument to apply the effect when casting as aoe, otherwise freezing doesn't happen too often.
I like shadow, but I'm a big PvP guy and I feel like slowing players down with cold will be more effective. Obviously time will tell but I can imagine explosions on death will be useful. But then again maybe we won't even get PvP lol
You have to hit the world boss with this and see what it does
so vs the world boss the best build in my opinion is just swapping cold imbue with a maxed out poison imbue, also going innersight instead of combo points since you can just spam twisting blades on the world boss and change concealment for poison trap or shadowstep where you shadowstep behind him when he uses a mechanic. Damage would still be very high, you'd probably be topping the damage charts if their was one.
Cool build to see big numbers, but I don't think it's the fastest for bosses/clearing. Great ice build though!
I tried all imbuements last day of beta and all bosses were dying in less then 5 seconds with any imbuement, I just put geared the dungeon, but while leveling up I agree with you that vs bosses, poison would be the best, but dungeon clear vs elites is 95% of it so I’d rather AoE clear with Shadow or 1 Shot elites with Ice, that’s my play style though 😁

You can do something similar with everything. Theres afixes for mode damage in every cc. Like more damage to freeze, or mor damage to slow.
And then theres the more damage to cced monsters. CHILL SLOW apply to every mob even bosses and it counts for the generic cc affix.
Theres a poison build you point then BLOW the whole poison with 1skill. ETC. Believe me play what you want on release. Just read the codex of power, plan a build around it to start and go get those affixes.
And It will carry you to the paragon levels.
I just felt like playing something unique that would synergies with other friends playing also playing ice, I did end up switching to the dark side using shadow imbue towards the final day of the beta, I didn’t see a reason for poison since everything was dying including bosses with in seconds before poison could have any value, vs the world boss though I would use poison, but I recommend using any build you have fun with

not every viewer is fluent in english so maybe it helps them understand, not doing it on purpose though haha thats just how I talk 😅, Ive seen several people mention the D3 mistakes seeing this damage, I didnt play Diablo 3 during those "mistakes" but hopefully once release the legendary drop rate is lowered and we don't have this out-scaling problem, I'm hopeful though since you will be able to increase difficulty end game with dungeon mutations.

Nice build, I didn't find the key legendary for this build in early access but if I do in beta i'll try it out. Also, I think if you put 5 points into dash, the boots should push it to 7 total giving you faster cd. Though this may not be optimal for the build, but thought I'd mention it in case you didn't know armor skill bonuses push skills past their limit. Thanks for the video, nice work.
I ran non stop dungeons and to be honest have only seen the aspect drop once, but another good aspect that helps apply more chill and freeze is twisting blades aspect which each spin around you applies a chill and chance for freeze and just taking any other damage increase aspect, also I did notice skills go beyond 5 so stacking twisting blade rank ups would be best, thanks for the comment though, respect ❤ rogue diary

Sorceress damage also extremely strong! Now for rogues, I have the same thought when I see other rogue videos I see using Flurry or Poison traps or Ranged they take about 15-30+ seconds to kill a boss
