You can rent an Ariel Atom at the racetrack near my hometown and I seriously recommend it to anyone, who is into fun and fast driving. It has become a very popular birthday present for any petrolhead. I didn't know the modern part of history, but I am very grateful to people like these, who bring the old brands back to life, just like they did with Norton. As a life-long biker, I really appreciate it.
I was amazed that Ariel is still going. My fist encounter with the marque was in 1964, after leaving school my first job was an assistant shooting instructor with a well known gunmaker. At the range where the shotguns are lapped out to full/three quarter choke (normally) the guy who did that was a keen Ariel Arrow Sports enthusiast. What he did with that bike was amazing. To be short it could out accelerate a T120 "Bonny" with ease and leave it like it was standing still. A highly tuned engine done in spare time on comapny lathe. Slow from the lights though because of the close ratio gearbox, but once going it it blew the doors of just about everything, a 250cc too ! On summer nights while I was still working with customers you could hear the expansion boxes whining away up two hills on his way home, delightful ! Thanks :) I hope Ariel do well for themselves in a highly competitive market place.
Didn't realize you had this channel until it was recommended by UA-cam. I was already subscribed to your AQUAHOLIC channel and I just subscribed to this one now as well. I'm definitely a "Gearhead" and these two channels will definitely help fill my UA-cam watching time! You do a great job on AQUAHOLIC and it looks like you pick interesting topics for this one as well!
Nick, you have been a godsend during this lockdown. Firstly Boats, and now cars and motorhomes. The only you could possible add is helicopters and private jets
Great video Nick. Good to see the factory. Did you get a spin in one? It’s something else! Never felt acceleration like it. I part own a 2008 Atom 3, bought second hand with 3 friends. We use it on track. I’m not really that much of a petrol head but it’s seriously good fun.
Pretty cool, when my dad was 14 years old he learnt to ride bikes by borrowing his father's Ariel square four lol (very heavy apparently).😬 I liked that stealthy car with the windscreen 👍
Just discovered your other channel Nick. That’s decided it for me. You need to be the next TopGear presenter. Better than the berks on it now. Nice vid Nick. I’ve subscribed to the channel. All the best.
We don't hear from Motaholic for nearly 6 months , then we have 2 videos within a week 😁😊. I hope this means that you will be starting to post regularly again Nick? (Pretty Please) 😉🏎🚗🚙🚘🚜🚍🏍🚁🚀
"Satin black'model is just awesome.(I was taught to drive at age 11yo,in a '52 Willy')open vehicles that get you almost everywhere are my forte.Stick one in your 60' tender garage.Shh.
I must admit the Atom is my favourite car, there’s no gizmos or gadgets and that makes it special. I would love to have a ride in one as a passenger because I don’t drive, I can imagine that a F1 driver would be able to do the business as it were. I wonder if there’s one with a nitrous kit on it, that could be spectacular too.
Liked the video but your guest should have had a microphone- the video was very good but the audio needed much improvement. Nice segway from Aquaholic to Motaholic but must confess I love boats more.
Wow.I actually read Many'comments'before viewing today. What a bunch there.Even a couple 'head up bum'characters.Summer is best for boats, and winter for land yacth. He can't freaking fly about the World daily.Sheesh.Some 'adults'are more childish than pleasant.

What a great little tour, Love the way each one is built by one person what a rewarding job once you finished one.
Great insight into face-changing cars (thinking Clarkson).
Over 2 year wait must mean the plucky little Brit is doing well. Awesome! 👍
I never knew this channel existed but thank goodness I found it
Welcome aboard! :)
Beautiful insight on an exceptional fun machine manufacturer. Thank You.

Driven the Nomad and been a passenger on some runs and track day. Superb fun and can keep up with some much more powerful cars.
ARE YOU KIDDING???

Really enjoyed this video. I’ve admired Ariels for years now and it was nice to see a bit more about their history and their production!
Nice to see what the Ariel is all about and some of it's history.
You went straight past the Ariel Ace which is my fave thing Ariel make. It has the drivetrain and engine from my own bike !
Nick, you have been a godsend during this lockdown. Firstly Boats, and now cars and motorhomes. The only you could possible add is helicopters and private jets
I'm quite keen to do jets...
Had a ride in one of these once! Best car I've ever experienced

What? Don't you know about Householic, Fridgeholic and Mieleholic also? What a shame! Hahaha!!!
Their engineering is Stunning, there is only one other in Liverpool I would say that comes closer to Ariel's engineering and that is BAC Mono.
It’s interesting to see this video now I have seen the same cars as vehicles for motor homes too.
Ocean, Sky, Ground. I guess space is next.
