I liked it but the bar didn’t light up everything. I was thinking it would of lit up the full path like brights would. Is the bar a low beam ? Do they come brighter ?
i bought the rough country light bar, i'm assuming making the electrical connection from the light bar that is about a foot in length without using the included harness, is this what you did? thanks!
Yes, since the truck already has factory fog light, we used the factory wiring harness to connect to the light bar. That's why we made the connection using the short H10/9145 wiring adapter to connect the factory plug to the light bar.
I checked and see the bracket is not available on Amazon anymore. You may want to check KD Fabwork website directly. I also updated the wiring harness link in the description. Check it out.
I would like to do this in the same location on my 08 superduty. I already have the light bar it's about 21" long and my truck didn't come with fog lights. Will this bracket setup work for what I just described?
+Morgan Atkinson If you don't have factory fogs, you can always run your own aftermarket relay harness. That website also sell the relay harness for these light bars. Watch my unboxing video of this light bar and I showed what that relay harness look like.
Hi therre! I got a question? it is a 20 or a 22 inches bar? in the title says 22" but at the begging of the video you said you'll install a 20". Can you please clarify before purchasing the wrong size? Thank you so much in advanced for your cooperation
looks great. i was actually looking at this exact kit to put on my 06 f250 but thinking of running 2 single row light bars. saw some pix and it looks awesome. thank you for the detailed video on the install.
This light bar we installed is advertised as a 22" light bar, but that's including the width of the side mounting hardware. The actual light bar itself measures 20" only. As for the pigtail, the owner of the truck bought it. I am not sure where he got it.
+Andrew Frenzel There will always be people that drive irresponsibly (including people who drive around with their high beams on at night). There is a purpose for these lights and the owner of the truck lives in the mountain, and these lights will server a purpose for where he lives.
+Allturbo98 I turn my light bar on during sunny days plus plowing in the winter it works great if he installed to little pod leds he could turn on a night
Kyle Madden Either the lightbar takes up too much power for those original wires that are there you’re gonna have to run a second harness but first I would check and make sure that your wiring is all set and you’re not having any short to ground which would be very likely and blow fuses
you don't need an adaptor harnesses... it's pointless, stupid and you're just adding potential IR Loss, cut the factory connector off and crimp on your quick disconnects. done
Blocking the trans cooler now...
Where can I get those tow hooks
Hello is this legal on the road ? Can you drive it with the light on?
All light bars are not street legal.
Can it be used while driving?
Don't think so
Is that street legal?
No light bar is street legal. Off road use only.
Good job. Now you can blind oncoming drivers.
would it be possible to relocate the fog lights?
I really don't see any other location to put. Also the factory fogs are just not very bright.
dial2fast yeah, but you can change the bulbs i ask cause if you're coming at someone the lightbar can be quite blinding to another driver
@@AmericanMan961 mount a 10" in between the fogs...or do a 20 and don't keep it on
Did you put the license plate bracket back on and if so does it block the light?
Did not put the license plate on.
Are you able to have the light bar and high beams on at the same time?
With aftermarket installs, you can have both be on.
Where did you get the pig tail with factory connection?
+Dustin Fleming Not sure, the owner of the truck brought it to me. But you can get these plugs on Ebay easily.
Dustin Fleming kd fabworks sells them on their website
Awesome thank you.
Random question. Where did you move your front license plate? I want to do this to my truck but in Idaho it is required to have two plates.
In Georgia, front plate not required.
You’ll probably have to retrofit it below the light bar.
@@dmeads5663 yeah i’d say
did you only use one or both of the plugs from the factory fog lights?
One light bar uses one plug.
@@dial2fastdoes it not draw too much power?
I liked it but the bar didn’t light up everything. I was thinking it would of lit up the full path like brights would. Is the bar a low beam ? Do they come brighter ?
It looks great for a truck that doesn't do any work. How much of a impact does it have on the coolers that are right behind your new light.
You call hauling a 43' Jayco 5th Wheel trailer 17,000lb. around the United States a truck that doesn't DO any work??? LOL
Does this impact performance? because I know there is a cooler behind the light. Unsure about if it would be blocking air from cooling whatever .
So.. you could have used the factory bracket by drilling on the plastic.. people don't think outside of the box
Elaborate ?

@@dial2fast But isnt the factory fog lights only rated for 45wats? Doesn't this mean the light bar isn't using its maximum output?
The other links don’t go to the items anymore. Where can I find these mounts and harness. Will they work with a 2006 Ford F-250 superduty as well?
I checked and see the bracket is not available on Amazon anymore. You may want to check KD Fabwork website directly. I also updated the wiring harness link in the description. Check it out.
What was the brand of led bar???
I would like to do this in the same location on my 08 superduty. I already have the light bar it's about 21" long and my truck didn't come with fog lights. Will this bracket setup work for what I just described?
It should. There should be the same spot where a bracket should be mounted.
@@NTX_Outdoors Ok thanks
Doing this to cover my fucked up trans cooler lmao
where on the factory light bar electrical did you make the connection to attach to the pigtail
I don't have factory fog lights do you know if there is still a wiring harness that comes factory with it?
+Morgan Atkinson If you don't have factory fogs, you can always run your own aftermarket relay harness. That website also sell the relay harness for these light bars. Watch my unboxing video of this light bar and I showed what that relay harness look like.
+dial2fast Also what would this set up look like with the license plate on?
+Morgan Atkinson You will lose light output as part of the light is blocked.
Great video, thanks for links as well.
Awesome video
Is that a 20 inch or a 22? Light bar?
+Eduardo Cepeda Advertised as 22" (with brackets). Actual light is 20"
where did you get the pig tail from?
+Carlos jimenez Not sure, the owner of the truck brought it to me. But you can get these plugs on Ebay easily.

You bet because the opening is 22" tight
Do the chrome tow hooks make it go faster?
ICU2 yes
i thought you needed a relay?
+Anthony Dominguez The factory fog light has a relay already.
That's excatly what i thought but i was told not to.. couldn't i unplug my fogs and use that circuit
Where did you get the pigtail harness???
You can use this 9145 adapter and cut one end amzn.to/2I8s2DQ
If I buy the other adapter you linked, do I still have to cut and splice it, or is that one plug and play?
If you buy the H10 male connector, then you just need to connect the red/black wire to the light bar.
looks great. i was actually looking at this exact kit to put on my 06 f250 but thinking of running 2 single row light bars. saw some pix and it looks awesome. thank you for the detailed video on the install.
Yeah looks nice but not sure how practical this is. Illegal to use when highway/city driving
Check out anything before Amazon. They cancelled Parler from its servers.
need help installing all parts on the light itself
The Pigtails are at the same website as the specialty adaptor brackets.
Whos ford is that?
A good friend of mine that lives out in the country.
Nice job making this video the truck looks good and I love that diesel sound !
Thanks for your comment!
Also, I forgot to ask you: Where did you get the electrical pigtail? thanks again!

Very nice and clean look and install
Thank you!
Very nice install. Looks almost factory. Thanks again for the video!
+skeeterk1 Thanks for your comment!
Is it a 20 inch or 22inch, misleading title.
Great another truck driver about to blind everyone else on the road with these lights!

I don't think that truck deserves that nice of a light bar.
fuck your truck bitch
Nice.
That light is in better shape than this beat ass truck
Hope it was the video glitching if it wasn’t that truck is missing super bad at idle. Good clean install though
We’re did u buy the bracket for the led light
Where did you get the electrical pigtail?
Eric D if you go to KD fabworks website you can buy the pigtail as well. hope this helps
