Love so much of their stuff but damn, Hammer Smashed Face will always be in a league of its own as far as im concerned. Would love to see them some day!

@@ArcherFlatfoot I think Rutan is a very, very good guitarist (loved his work in HE and especially MA), and I don't know who would be a better fit, tbh, but O'Brien is irreplaceable in CC to me. He just can't be replaced. I loved his style immensely and the intensity, and "wickedness" he used to bring in to the sound and live performances. He was just a truly "sick" guitarist (no pun intended!) with unparalleled riffage skills, very technical yet brutal. I preferred his sick ass solos too. I am not saying Erik is bad or anything, just very different. I hope you see what I mean. You may disagree, I understand that it's probably a matter of personal preferences. Also do you happen to know if Pat isn't returning to CC because of legal issues solely or some falling out with the band eventually happened?

George Fisher does better than Chris Barnes
