Man I hope Erik didn't lose everything. He is sincerely one of the nicest fuckin' dudes in metal I've met and I've met a LOT of people in 30 years doing to shows....
Erik is the kind of guy who would have made contingency plans for a hurricane. I'm sure he hasn't lost anything of sentimental value, or significant financial value that isn't covered by insurance.
@@katshades Erik once spent about 45 minutes before a show showing me and my band mates, at that time, his new van he turned into the tour van. Dude smiles non stop, he is just happy to be alive. I wished I was that way more often.
The circumstances for being down a guitar are awful (Erik having this emergency) but it does provide for a fascinating look at an alternate configuration of the band. Rob is seriously taking care of business here, and the ferocity is no less. Thank you so much for shooting and posting the vid.

I liked George chilling on the stage after the show ended, handing out setlists and security guys getting angry because most of us at the barricade refused to leave. 😎
