Gorbad Ironclaw, Grimgor, Azhag... Any of the old Warhammer Fantasy orc characters were cool af, and the sculpts are awesome even for today standards :)
@@stressedbrush7697 Holy crap, Gorbad and Azhag look absolutely awesome. And I have never even seen these models before. Maybe I get lucky and GW brings them back for the Old World.
Hey found ur channel and love ur stuff! this vid got me thinking on using this green recipe concept for my death guard army im planning. But i was thinking on priming wraithbone then using either dark purple shade or contrast as the armor base and build off that with various greens like creed camo, miltarium green, exc
I disagree with the statement that newer models are better. I have had that opinion (that the newer models are better) until I bought some new Soulblight Gravelords models. While they look really nice, they are a chore to assemble. The sprues make no sense (bits scattered randomly) and there is virtually no customization. The models look great when painted, but if you want more than one box you will end up with the unit comprised of identical twins mimicking each other. Now, I really hope GW will change their mind and release Vampire Counts miniatures as well. Great video, BTW!
I think it is also a matter of perspective. From an aesthetic point of view, most models these days are simply better IMHO. And for me as a painter that matters more than customization. But if you look at it from a gamers point of view, it is not as clear cut as you said it yourself too. There are less customization options in general and the additional details most models have these days might be a chore to paint for some people. So different strokes for different folks I guess :)
Hey guys! What other old sculpts are still fantastic miniatures despite their age? ( definitely not fishing for some ideas for future videos here 😅)
Deathmaster Snikch is a real classic

That sounds like a solid plan. I would love to see the end result when you are done 😊
