Something interesting I've noticed about listening to music on psychedelics, especially electronic music is that once you notice all these new layers you somehow missed before, you still hear it the same way post trip. I couldn't stand Trance or psytrance at all until I went to a rave and took acid for the first time. Immediately understood the "purpose" of it. Come to think of it, every time I've gotten obsessed with a new genre of music its been because I've heard it properly for the first time while tripping
I remember one time I candy flipped and ended up watching almost an entire TV series. I’ve always suffered from adhd, depression and anxiety, so it felt like my mind was actually super focused for once in my life, almost like a switch that had been off my entire life had been turned on. The TV show felt so realistic, it almost felt like I was in the shows location (San Francisco) and could feel everything around me. It was very profound.
When I do this at a festival I actually go to battle with the DJ’s and other entities. After the mdma and during the peak of the lsd I will sit and meditate and hold the tension within, eyes closed, totally still and it gives me some kind of control of the entire festival. I’ve gotten better and more skilled at this the more I do it and there is a dark side to modern festivals that need more light workers. Definitely not all peace and love, unfortunately.
I once tried a changa under the influence of 3MMC. Under the influence of the changa itself, it is known relaxation sometimes seems that a person is asleep after lighting up. But in combination with 3MMC and music and to this in the company of several people, omg. The journey was not as deep as on changa alone, but the contact in the group was amazing, an interdimensional dance in ecstasy
I had the most amazing music experience on MDMA 13 years ago while listening to Breathe (In The Air) on Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd. I had waves of euphoria going down my body matched to the guitar. When it played I felt it and when it would stop the feeling would stop. I was just saying “oh my God” out loud and my friends were wondering what was happening 😂. Was amazing.
I actually only ever tried this combination after I had developed PTSD. Im really sorry I didnt make an effort to use them therapeutically because it was a sure path back to a lot of my more human emotions that Id been locked out of. I could see this combination being extremely useful when used for healing. Im currently working through a lot of stuff with some help from psychedelics and while I could use this combination again, I actually have some concerns about the amphetamine structure because of the way the trauma manifests and effects the dopamine/reward system along with movement. Fortunately classicsl psychedelics seem to be all I need but this combo would be awesome for trauma work
Bro this happened to me when I candyflipped I left my bag with all my tabs, water. And when I realised the music was going thru my whole body 😂 once I got my bag the beat dropped on sync the song was wish you were mine - Philip George you should listen to it next time u do md 😅
Great question. For me I can relate to the first part but because this was early in my journey I hadn’t quite come to the ‘everything is love’ message that my future trips had. So for me it didn’t have that purpose
So simply put from my way, LSD let's you perceive the strings and MDMA gives you the urge to grab them, Issa good combo for internal exploration or just exploration indeed.

At this point I don't even know what I would consider more significant in my life, discovering psychedelics, or discovering Shpongle on psychedelics
Shpongle is the BEST

Good song to listen to while high is Machismo by Gomez.

Such a great song/album. I love the third part that suddenly comes after Time ... Hoooome, home again!
@@andrejz8954 “I like to be here when I can.” Ya man so good, I always think about the “being home again” as coming back to the psychedelic headspace.
OMG i fucking love candyflipping. Music sounds literally incredible, and i know exactly what you mean about understanding the song.
Watch out now, LSD and a pretty pill form of meth can bring on early schizophrenia
Every song sounds new for the first time 😂😅

Can you tell us about dosages of each ?
Never candy flipped but jedi evey time i trip, its my favorite!
What a fuckin trooper 🫡
Did it kind of feel as if each instrument had its own personality or intelligence? And that the purpose of the song was all love?

@@TheTripWhip Yes I get it, there's so many differnt layers to it !
