    Truly an amazing project. Psychedelics and organic chemistry was a major field of interest that led me to pursuing a Biomedical Engineering degree and pursuing many projects in design & analysis. Only recently have I began to really understand the utility of data analytics and statistical predictive models in engineering design methodology so this video finds me at a perfect time(even though I’ve been a josie viewer for quite some time). Thank you for sharing this and thank you for your years of work on psychedelic education. This is genuinely one of my favorite videos I’ve seen in years, truly a radically bold yet highly reasonable project(the best kind!)

    I am sure that this kind of research will one day be super valuable in understanding the nature of consciousness. Mapping the physiology, subjective experience and natural language reminds me of Oliver Sacks, who was brilliant in showing how documenting altered states of consciousness (in his case neurological 'illnesses') allow building a better model of the interaction of mind and body.
    Also excited to see that the current natural language processing advancements could greatly benefit this research and our understanding of ourselves.
    Hope to see more of it!

    Looking back on it, a lot of trip reports were written with a pseudo-clinical tone and format, often employing lots of medical terminology (often used incorrectly lol). Not sure why that was such a common way of doing it, especially since I don't think many of us expected our trip reports to actually be used for real science, but it's nonetheless very cool that they are.

    I asked GPT-4 to associate psychoactive substances with higher dimenasional structures and I went one by one to be surprised that in the end, it was in ascendent orderd, without me intending or thinking about it. I just felt that that's the order in witch I want to ask.
    Here is the result:
    tesseract - LSD (4TH)
    penteract - DMT (5TH)
    hexeract - Salvia divinorum (6TH)
    hepteract - Amanita Muscaria (7TH)
    hypercube - Mescaline (peyote) (7TH)
    octeract - 5-MeO-DMT (Venin de broasca) (8TH)
    And my curiosity about this structures came bacause of the E8, witch GPT-4 associate it with...
    E8 li group - the totality of human consciousness - the full, complex interplay of all our perceptions, thoughts, emotions, memories, and other mental phenomena. - 248 dimensions
    To me it feels right even tho I didn't try all of the substances.
    What was shockingly accurate to me was the amanita muscaria effect, because never have been able to explain what I felt, and GPT-4 showed me a mathematical structure that finally made sense of my experience. A Strange Attractor, witch is really representative for the back and forh state of consciousness that I felt.
    Salvia was associated with the mobius strip. Witch... somhow makes sense because peopee feel like they are kicked outside space and time.
    Of course, these are just metaphorical means that I used to better understand the experiences, but it may be usefull to draw correlations with mathematical structures when trying to explain the trip to someone.
    Thank you for the work you're doing. This is one of the most interesting fields of research and I'm glad that your progress is beeing shared with the internet in such a good manner. Amazing!

    • @BullyMaguire4ever
      @BullyMaguire4ever Рік тому

      On Salvia I don’t feel outside, I feel so profoundly “Inside” that there is no me and I feel like I am the room or physically universe itself and everything is touching itself, and it feels very strange, like my body is just two membranes of the physical world rubbing against each other and if I move physically it feels like membranes of reality just sliding and shifting, not like I am a separate entity freely moving.

    • @vladalbata880
      @vladalbata880 Рік тому +1

      @@BullyMaguire4ever this sounds like an amazing experience. Can't wait to try it as well
      Regarding the outside inside experience, I actually didn't thought about space-time to be outside of the self. I believe it is a construct of consciousness, so going inside would be still the same thing, but "outside" it's perception.
      I am very curious about how you experienced it in this regard.
      How can you explain it after having it? What it means for you?

    22:41 when i ate too much weed i saw stuff like this frame here, the 'range' image but some white or silvery strands emerging from it
    I ate some frozen weed for the cbn and thca and stuff, but apparently freezing weed can decarb it.
    So I had a weird experience. Saw wall of flesh hallucinations as well, which I modified by viewing some art then laying down.
    Anyways I think hypnosis can target brain regions as well. So seeing the full map of word choices would be cool. Could target the frontal cortex with a meditation mantra for example.

    Fantastic video! I'm so fascinated! I would be really curious to see any research that confirms whether it is at all possible to return to a certain experience. I have never been able to do that, even on something tangible/sensory like having fruit taste fantastic. I've had one particular acid trip where I ate a huge variety of fruits which tasted simply divine. Best food experience I've ever had in my life! I'm not so eager to chase emotional or spiritual experiences that I've had before because to me that's like asking the psychedelics to give you learnings you have already received, but omg what I would give for the taste of those kiwi's! Was it perhaps the dose? It was fairly strong acid. Any thoughts, Josie?

    • @peeniewalli
      @peeniewalli Рік тому

      Maybe difficulty for many reasons. For it is another neural pathway. esp.smell ( that of course contributes great portion of the taste experience) goes directly to prefrontal cortex. [Do correct me please if i got it wrong) in combination with William James quote;(....).."unspeakably vast landscape of poss.experience" or Realm of p'delics and the circumstances that alter your taste-papillis(?) maybe you ate or drank diff. did/or didn't smoke or painkillers/med's the days before. And also "intent" or expectations or maybe the origin of thr fruits .
      The dose, stage in trip duration....(?)
      When really experienced with same psychdelic one can become more "in chune" with (for me P.Azu'z integrated over a decade into my life, i was able to wish or steer or any other kind of intent. Couple of days to week before you start these concepts(f.e. smell/taste) of how you would like to go and recover that path. And just occupy your mind every day with that wish.
      (it's ofcourse very personal and maybe someday we( they! MindLab and connected people) can optimize a moleculr or mix of diff.chemicals for your brain's uniqueness
      To integrate is my key-word in this.
      (p.s. also something about memory ;changing everytime you recall some, they tend to restored back a little biasesd?)
      Greetings, Cap.

    as a lifelong user of mushrooms and LSD, let me just say this:
    you could spend a lifetime studying the effects from the outside, and still never have the faintest idea what the experience actually feels like, that is, until you take it yourself. As is said I the video, it's "ineffable".
    That being said, I am not at all convinced of any "therapeutic" value.
    It's a wonderful experience, dont get me wrong. I believe that It could spark creativity ( think 60's music), but beyond that, it's not a miracle cure for mental disorders.
    Mental disorders mainly come from trauma. You can't erase your trauma.
