Amazing video bro, lotta value
Thank you!
Awesome thanks 🙏
You're welcome 😊
Hey Nick, I wanted to ask, why use DCTs and not just three different regular ads in one ad set? Does that really matter? Plus, do you think that testing three similar ads with the same concept and visuals but different hooks is efficient, or should I change the visuals and the concept completely for each ad/DCT? I'm about to film some footage tomorrow and would like to know whether I should film each ad separately with different concepts or just capture some general shots and play with them in editing software. Sorry for the complicated question, and thank you!"
i do one concept per dct. I like dct's as it tests 12 ads vs. 3 ads as individuals
@@NickTheriot well then do you think changing only the hooks in three similar ads and putting it into one dct (keep doing it on two other dcts with different concept and visuals) is how it supposed to work. That should be the difference between each dynamic creative?
Hey Nick, in your opinion does Meta draw learnings from the ad account as a whole? (e.g. from previous campaigns?) Love your content!
Yes the whole ad account can play a factor
When you wanna increase the budget is there a specific time to do it ? Lets say right when the next day starts or somethibg Like that?
Depends on what I got going on that day and what time i get to my laptop. I don't have a set time.
Once you have a camp with stable performance, the creatives you create (same audience) will be added with the old creative ads or you will create a new ad set. Or are both effective? Thanks for your content!
New adset
Teach! if my ads has up to 3 frequency what should I do?
Need to look at the creatives you’re making and either make them more entertaining, better filmed, or for a larger audience
Hi NIck, how you test creatives?
Supose that i'm running a cbo campaign, with just one creative concept, if I would like to test others creatives with the same concept, should I create ads sets on same CBO or create a new one?
Hi Nick, thanks again for this great content. One question for you: do you set daily time limit for your ads spend? for instance, set your ads spend only from 6 am to 10 pm for efficiency.
You can only do that on lifetime budgets (set ad scheduling by days/hours you want to hit) or by creating some automated rules to turn your campaigns on and off.
No i just let it run
Hey Nick, can you make a video on flexible ad format? I just launched a flexible ad, but I don’t know how to check the creative INDIVIDUALLY, so that I can iterate from there
I'll make one soon, i don't care about the breakdown lol
Immensely valuable video Nick… 3:59 loved the emphasis here you gave to build a creatives that convert… Keep the value packed videos coming Nick brother 🫡😊
Great video! What are your thoughts on watching and analyzing thousands of ads? Do you learn consumer psychology through that?
Yes that is one of the ways i leverage
Great 🙌🤝
Thanks ✌️
Nick T the Best in the game🐐
Appreciate it!
hey nick,if our product is of type that cant have many returning customer can we still be profitable from facebook ads, like by getting good roas and all?
It becomes harder, but generally speaking yes you can still be profitable
I saw a man asking the same type of questions, Do you think it's risky to make changes to the ad account daily like adding more DTC*s daily? like if I have 2 live now, then I add one test every day for 3 days and then after 3 days, I have 5 at once. Or just launch them all at once, once per week?
I like to only add 2-3 at once every 3-7 days
Hey Nick, I've been applying your advice and seeing great results! I have a question for you:
With post-purchase surveys, I'm learning I'm acquiring customers that want to buy from my brand for the product. My returning customer % is 11%.
However, I have a very distinct brand. How would you use ad creatives to target people that purchase from us for the lifestyle/brand instead of the pure utility of the item (jeans)? I think this will increase returning customer %
I'm considering joining your inner circle as well, do you think I'd get answers to more questions I have? I'm doing $30k/month right now.
This would be a better question for inner circle and help me walk you through. But in general I would look at the specific niche of people that wear your jeans and what they resonate with. Hobbies / interests. Black rifle coffee company is a great example
Do you think having one CBO and one broad adset within the CBO with a few creatives is enough for a test? I've heard people say all sorts about having multiple adsets with different targetting, etc. Also do you happen to run the ads for Icon Amsterdam? I saw TS in their campaigns.
For the first test yes and weekly new creatives will just be new adsets inside the same cbo. Yes we ran their ads for 2 years
If you have one campaign for all English speaking do you have a different Adset for each country? E.G. USA, UK, Canada
No, i put them all in one adset or a different campaign for each
@@NickTheriot would it be okay to have each region in different adsets if you have nuances in the creative or headline/text for each country e.g “FREE SHIPPING USA” etc
I once turned off the ads in fear after spending $200 without receiving any orders
Gotta keep testing
Now that DCTs are being phased out, can you make a video about testing with flexible ads please?
I see that flexible ads puts my creatives tests into carousels which is annoying
Also, I prefer longer copies because I feel like when it’s paired with a great creative it converts better but flexible ads have a character limit so not sure how to go about that when testing
I don't worry about the carousel and just treating flexible the same way as dynamic
Mate! how do I stop re-entering the learning phase every time I create / add a new ad to an ad set? For example, I had 2 ads running and when I created a 3rd one, my ad set re-started the optimization and went back to 0/50. How can I avoid this?
I don't care about that lol
You can’t add new ads while you have an ad set that’s active cause it does exactly that - causes you to go back into learning mode. Do not touch the ads or add new ads to an ad set once it’s active. You can adjust the budget by no more than 20% up or down but that’s about it. To initially get out of learning phase you need approx 50 actions within the 1st 7 days. If you’re lucky to get out of learning phase, DO NOT TOUCH YOUR ADS. Having said that, if after 7 days you don’t think your ad is performing very well, go back into the edit page of each ad and look to see if FB have made any edit recommendations but once again, any dramatic edits will cause you to reset your whole ad and go back into learning phase.
@@jmarco117 But creating / adding new ads is one of the most basic and fundamental parts of running ads. There has to be a way to this daily without restarting the optimization
@@jmarco117what’s the shortest period of time one should run ads? According to ecomking he says run for 3 days and kill it if it’s not doing anything after 3 but what your saying sounds like 5-7 days at least
You think it’s bad for the account to test ads daily in the main camping?
I think 24 hours is not enough time and needs at least 72 hours for an ad to be fully tested
No hate I’m from the USA as well and extend my A’s a lot but what is your accent?
Southern accent!
Nick I remember you saying it’s necessary to spend at least 100$ a day . Why is that? Do you think starting with less is not worth it?
Spending less is doable just takes longer to get data back
First one addresses my question I guess 😅
Great!
@@NickTheriot Remember I DMed you about this yesterday :) Great video 👌
you run cbo right?
Yes
make video about tiktok ads pleasee!!
I don't run tik tok ads, but all the marketing fundamentals are the same
