this is how you smurf, instead of just smashing everyone to the ground you literally don't buy items and prove show how to play in reality instead of one shotting all enemy team! Insane video keep it up!
Worth mentioning that Nashors Tooth isn't just really good with Katarina. It's sort of mathematically required for her to be balanced. Since the on-hit changes and nerfs, many felt that early laning was way worse. Reason being, her AP scaling ratios were reduced almost exactly with the AP ratio found on Nashors Tooth. Basically, Katarinas Passive, E and R all require Nashors Tooth in order to properly scale with AP like they used to. So the joke that "Katarina is not a champion until finishing her first item" is sort of true.
The claim that Nashor's is required isn't true, Wit's End actually does just as much damage. That weird Divine Sunderer + Wit's End + Randuin's build that's going around is insanely good.
@@yGKeKe Still is true for an "AP" build. The divine build is AD with Wit's end for AP on hit rather than building full AP. All AP without Nashor's would be a lot worse.
Sorry if this sounds stupid but at 8:18 you let yone live to keep him in lane , is that because you want to spread the pressure and is it a mistake to kill him st that time to get darkseal stacks ?
@@yGKeKe "he's supposedly trying to show people you can play like shit and still win". Half right. He tries to show people you don't necessarily need kills from your lane opponent (or kills at all to some extent) in order to win. You definitely cannot play like shit in low elo if you wanna win though, because somehow you gotta carry your team. It would be easier to just take the free kills, but he wants to win the games not by steamrolling the enemy team, but by smart decision making and showcasing picking fights in your favor until you naturally win the game.
Better healing from 3 health pots, and Yone isn't exactly an easy lane... You can get a lot of FREE poke from Yone, because that's the champion, it's what it does sadly. Even a bronze Yone managed to take his health down to dangerous levels after all those INSANELY GOOD SMART trades from Katlife.
Probably Yone to be honest, since most players in low elo will not be able to handle the monstrosity that Yone can be if played HALF decent. Notice how Katlife played Katarina *perfectly* here against Yone, and still got a lot of damage in return from Yone he couldn't do anything about, a BRONZE/SILVER Yone. If Kat hadn't played it perfectly, going for all those micro-engagements and micro-trades, slowly taking down Yone's health, Yone would've eventually got lucky with an engage and potentially kill the kat player at lvl 6 or earlier.
Hello Kat ! Never went Kata into the new AS, kinda afraid of the new one contrary to the oldy. What's your opinion about it ? Unpickable vs AS or just have to go when his E is off ?
New asol is, in my opinion, just as easy as veigar, if not easier. I always insta-lock kat against new Asol because he no longer has cc on a basic ability and his base ult is easy to dodge. His damage early game is very weak and kat's mobility lets her get out of his e. I personally take electrocute into Asol because kat has higher burst vs his sustained dmg from his breath, but it depends on the rest of their team as well. If they have more tanky characters then I'll take conq. Dark seal or long sword start are both good against him, just don't give him free stacks by standing in his e.
@@ahmmmedbessa He's Challenger like Neace is Challenger. Not only was Season 7 six years ago, but all of the accounts I've seen him play on were plat/diamond for most seasons, with a peak in Masters. Also, this is supposed to be an educational series...and his mechanics in these games are dogshit. He's borderline inting half the fights. Even if it's intentional, showcasing completely scuffed mechanics that are working because of luck is a horrible way to teach people how to play the champ.
@@yGKeKe I don't see the point in all this hate tbh... You won't find too many videos in this format for free around the internet, explaining every single decision, step and combo being made while keeping things reasonable and reproduceable by the average Joe which is hardstuck in low elo. Btw, this guy is MILES above Neace, I can't stand that guy. Katlife is pretty chill and humble, and has a way better coaching format. "Completely scuffed mechanics" okay.

LOVED how your team just aram'ed Yone in the beginning. xD The hate for Yone is strong in them, and I'm all for it.
Loving the wave of fresh content :)
Thanks for the video, it really help me because the match up vs Yone
you're so wise i love you
Very fun game haha
Any tips when facing Qiyana?

new aurelion sol is the easiest matchup for kat. so free and you can bully him all game
I always go conq with long sword start, i first blood him lvl 2
Just avoid poke till then and let the wave push to ur tower
kat is asols worst matchup

@@HuTaoCat which rune does give her more early lvl 2 duel power? Elec or conq when starting long sword?
wait, I'm sorry, I didn't understand, why didn't you buy the items until Caitlyn's 2nd item?
He wants to scale with the other players so he doesn’t flat out destroy the other team since these are supposed to be informative videos
@@eugene7493 ah makes sense, thanks!
Why dont u kill yone when u can? U had the chance like 13 times?
he was challenger do you think hes gonna play 100% of his skills vs bronze player
He just chose to give Yone another chance, a couple times. There would not be much to be learnt if their mid was dead 99% of the time.
