God is so merciful. We were enemies, and He still called us to be reconciled

Because we are his creations, however because of Lucifer corrupting us, he doesn't approve or appreciate our nature

The context is important because when the Pharisees had seen a man released of an evil binding devil and seen sincere gratitude from the one released that they would look on that good and call it evil to support their pride.

I always thought the only people who could blaspheme the holy spirit were the Pharisees who saw Jesus. They knew of the old testament predictions of the Messiah, they knew how God spoke to people and then they saw the man himself doing it. Then decided to ignore that and say he was doing it by Satan. The Pharisees themselves were in the best position to welcome Jesus and knew he was but turned against him.
Nobody today is in that position

The Pharisees had a closed canon text they interpreted by their own academic study for their interpretation of the scriptures about the Messiah. Their interpretation didn’t match who they saw Jesus of Nazareth to be. Jesus spoke to them and lamented they had killed the prophets sent to call Jerusalem to repent and to provide them with authoritative interpretation (Matthew 23: 37.) Having a closed canon of text, relying on non-authoritative interpretation, and man-made traditions is apostasy. There is plenty of that going on today.

If you're aware and concerned about the unforgivable sin, you didn't commit it simple as that

The Holy Spirit has 2 ultimate works in our lives. Convict us of our sins and a need for a Savior therefor the truth of Jesus Christ(Yeshua Mashiach, Iesous Christos.) And then, if we except

"Accept" Then His second work is to make us more Like Jesus. I was scared of the Holy Spirit for 30 years. I didn't want to think of Him so I wouldn't sin against him. Until one night He whispered in my ear " every sin you ever did was completely and utterly against me. A direct spit in my face, and I'm still here." This is not a specific moral sin, but the utter denial of Jesus as Lord. His first and ultimate work. We can be phariseacal in our actions(arrogant, proud, sinful,) but we aren't pharisees outright because we don't deny Jesus as Lord, my Jesus following brothers and sisters.

Pharaoh lived through the Red Sea event, as Kings rarely go out onto the battlefield. And he had every right to call on the Name of Yahweh after the fact, until his death. Just as Manasseh, the most evil king of Judeah ever, spent his life grossly worshiping every created being under the stars. But as Scripture says, he repented(metanoi=changed his mind) at the end of his life and Yahweh forgave him. Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit isn't final until your last breath here and your first breath in front of Him. If you're in this side, you still have a chance.

Blashemy against the holy spirit is attributing the evils of this world to the actions of the holy spirit. Such as those people who say: "the world would be a much better and more peaceful place if not for Christianity." That being said, I can't say for sure if sinning in this way will land you in hell if you were truly sorry and repented.

This is a big one for me, because if you`ll go with Cliffe`s interpretation here... i guess you would almost have to think that everyone who dies a disbeliever has blasphemed to a certain extent because they never heard the voice of God and that they`ve basicly willfully ignored his existence all those years they didn`t believe. I am strongly convinced that this is not true. I don`t believe Stephen Hawking studied this universe to willfully take God out of the equation. I believe he simply analyzed our universe and didn`t see a compelling sign of him in the equation. But i guess you could somewhat say tgen that "well, maybe he didn`t reach the point of blasphemy in his disbelief" but then where is the line between honest disbelief while still being a truthseeker and wilfull unforgivable ignorance to his existence? It doesn`t add up to me at all, and there`s simply nothing in the Bible that accurately describes how to interpret this and especially not Cliffe`s idea. It seems completely subjective to me. Unless anybody can point me to exactly where the Bible makes this sin clear then there`s no real say in this, except for subjective reasoning which are always prone to be wrong so we don`t even know exactly what to look out for either if it happened to actually be true. I know within myself that all i know is that i know nothing at all. Completely agnostic, if i knew there was a God i would also know there`s no hiding from judgement and i would sincerily repent and recognise Jesus as my lord and saviour. But i don`t.... there`s arguments from both sides that sounds plausible, but to me, there seems to be way more consistency in Materialism/Science than any Biblical claim, but again... i have no clue at all, i`m just more leaning towards materialism being the objective truth because those are things we`re actually able to observe and measure and i don`t think it`s right to punush somebody for not having turned to Jesus for that reason.

Valid point, but you see. If and it's a big if in your point of view. You own a garden so beautiful and you put caretakers in that garden to take care of it, at first they recognize you as their owner, you might not be there physically but you can see them through cameras and surveillance since it's a precious garden to you and you want to see if they're still taking care of it as you asked them. You also recognize the caretakers there as your friend, but they're still a worker for you. What would you feel if that same caretaker after years of service would claim the land as his own and do whatever he wants? And his/her descendants won't even know you existed even though you keep on calling and checking up on them all these years through other people and say to them that there will be a time where you will come to judge them personally for their doing, you showed them proof that you're in control and that you're the owner. But still, they started to ransack and destroy your beautiful garden despite all the warnings from other people, only caring about their personal feelings and subjective truth that because they're the ones who live there and since they can't see the real owner physically, they essentially assumed you didn't exist. Even though, you consider them as a friend of yours, the disrespect they showed you is evident. God is slow to anger, that's why even till now He is still asking everyone to just accept His sovereignty. He is still in control in this world, even though He gave us free will to choose whatever we want because He loves us, but still He wants us to choose Him despite all the good things we see in the garden as it was already poisoned, destroyed and ransacked by other people's choices. Ever since the beginning when Adam and Eve chose to defy God's will. But there will come a time when He will come here personally to set everything right, but all those who participated in those selfish desires and destruction of His garden will all pay the price. So all I'm saying is, there's a price for blasphemy. But we should not focus on that, rather focus on the love of God. The reason why He still let us choose is because He wants us to choose the good. He set His palace in heaven, where there's no crying, sadness, death and despair. That's where the kingdom is, where He has the total and complete power. Where the devil won't even dare to come to entice His people with good things that came from a poisoned world. And the only way for us who are unworthy to come to that kingdom is recognizing that we are truly sinful and Jesus Christ is the Lord and Savior who bought our sin with His blood.

Listen to RC sproul’s interpretation of the unpardonable sin. Even though I love Cliffe, I think RC’s interpretation is slightly more accurate. He explains it in such a way that not every unbeliever has committed the unpardonable sin.

In the context of the Bible....
The term "unforgivable sin" came about when the Pharisees saw Jesus miraculous work of casting out demons...and they attributed that work to the work of the Devil.
Jesus was like "Why would the Devil cast out his own?"
In my opinion, I don't believe "the unforgivable sin" is an issue with most anyone.
There is no limits to God's mercy...but you need to believe in the first place.
Most unbelievers don't run around calling God, the Devil. Even unbelievers usually know the distinction, regardless of their beliefs.
When the Pharisees called the work of the Son of God "Satanic"....they are something more than just ignorant.

@ There’s no willfully believing something that sounds unreasonable and unconvincing to you. The «you NEED to believe» is already a limit to God’s forgiveness in my eyes. If he wants to be believed he should make himself known better. Imagine hiding up in the skies behind the clouds, looking down on your creation and thinking «i won’t save these people who don’t believe in me»…That’s a BIG limit to his forgiveness. Doesn’t sound good at all to me, «i» (a flawed human being) don’t need other people praising me to be able to forgive people… why would the very source of everything that is good need to? It sounds completely turned on the head, it makes no sense to me.
If he exists, he’s made the world so incredibly imperfect which seems totally compatible and consistent with what you’d see if the world had NO benevolent all-powerful God contained within it who governs this world…should i then be tormented for believing what compells me the most and not believing in what sounds the most unconvincing and unprobable?
As long as it sounds unconvincing i’ll never be able to sincerily believe in the first place… and i don’t believe that is my fault or any other honest disbelievers fault for simply not believing that he exists. There’s no «choosing» what you intuitively «believe». You either get convinced or you don’t, you have no liberty at all to deliberately choose what convinces you to be true or false.

God is indeed loving. How can we have forgiveness if we don’t ask for it? I believe it was explained beautifully in this video. God can’t forgive those who don’t ask for it because otherwise their hearts are hardened towards God! They hate God until they ask for His love! Are you aware of the gospel? If not, I would like to make it known to you. The bottom line is, according to the gospel, we’ve all sinned against God. Now, God is loving, but He is also righteous! Which means that if we stay in our sin and don’t ask for God, He can’t forgive us, because it would be unrighteous to forgive someone who isn’t sorry for what they did. For example, if a serial killer stood trial, the righteous thing to do would be to send him to prison for the rest of his life, right? If the judge simply said, “the serial killer is free to go” wouldn’t you say that’s unjust? But what if I told you that there’s a God who can forgive every transgression IF WE ASK FOR FORGIVENESS AND TRUST IN JESUS!? The question still stands, how can it be justice to let the sinner go? How is it just to forgive someone who is as evil as me?!? That’s the correct mindset. The gospel answers this dilemma through Jesus Christ, the eternal God! The Bible says that God came to earth and was born in Bethlehem! This means that when Jesus was born, He was truly God, and truly man! Many scholars call Him the God-Man! Why is it important for Jesus to become a Man? So that He can live a life like ours except totally sinless! Jesus was the only sinless Man to ever walk the earth! Why is it important that He be sinless? Well, if He sinned even just once, no one would ever go to heaven. Here’s why: The Bible teaches that “God so loved the world that He gave His only Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16). Jesus died for the world, that whoever believes in Him can have eternal life and be pardoned! The doctrine of substitution teaches that because of Jesus’ sacrifice, God sees me as having lived Jesus’ perfect life, and punished Jesus on the cross as though He lived my sinful life! The only way I can have Jesus’ substitutionary death, is if I believe that His death cleanses me from all sin! If we believe this, then we will start to love God and hate our sin! So in light of the gospel, the unpardonable sin makes a lot more sense. It is what happens when people don’t put their faith in Jesus, because God can’t pardon someone who isn’t sorry for their sin. Just like it would be unjust for the judge to let the serial killer go! But if we turn to God, He is just because He punished our sin on the cross, and forgiving because He made a way for us to be saved from hell!

How can you be forgiven if you don’t want to be forgiven? That’s the whole premise of this sort of blasphemy. You can be forgiven if you repent of your unbelief and put your faith in Christ :)
