After ceasing my procrastination for completing several songs on my album, it's finally done! Thank you all so much for your patience! It means a lot to me. Enjoy "Small Horses and Other Stuff"! It has some songs on there that many of you have already heard, but it also has several that no one's heard until now. Hope you like them!

This new song is not like anything I've ever really done before. It's as close to a duet as I've come, so far. Feather and I are very happy to finally put this out there. I think you guys will really enjoy it. It's quite a fun song.

4everfree, you don't always make the best songs, most are just.. OK. But there are those songs that's simply beautiful! This one's (sadly) so-so. But I must say, I love Winterfall Over The Acres, Birdsong, Three's A Team, just to name a few ^^

I keep trying to find a fault in one of your songs, but the only one I could find in this was the lack of volume on the guitar solo. Otherwise, nicely done!
Alright, critique time:
This song is more difficult to critique.
When working with drums, try to use multiple kits and choose the best kick you can find, snare, cymbal crash.
I felt the electric guitar could be brought up a little bit more.
Also, I would analyze the frequency of each instrument. It seems to have a bit of a noise issue with the electric. Cutoff and EQing on the Electric Guitar would be great to make it have more of the style you are going for.
I felt a bit more of the drum kit should be used. I feel you are limiting yourself to just a few parts of the kit. Where are the closed hats, cymbal rides, more high and low toms. More of the drum kit used can help change things up and bring the track to life.
Also, dual octaves for Feather would make the chorus sound more complete. You need to make the chorus stand out from the verses. Or, have her sing in a triad with you. If you don't do anything special for the chorus, it will make the track sound incomplete
This song is really hard to critique on just a pair of studio headphones. The track is also just really well produced and mixed. When my studio speakers come in, I feel I could analyze more to the song.

In regards to the electric guitar, yes, I totally agree it should have been boosted.
There are also some things about EQing that I've learned since this song was posted. Like the background guitars (the ones that come in half way through each verse) should have less low-end in them, and therefore would be less distracting. There are a ton of things I'd do differently in that regard, but I don't think I can name them all.
As for the drums, I actually use the samples in Ableton Live 9, which aren't the best, but if used right, they can sound pretty decent. I was limited to using one snare, because it was the only one I could find in the program that sounded good with the genre. However, after searching a bit, I found a better one that can be altered more in its tone, and doesn't require me to turn up the attack so much.
Also, I used to have to go through and adjust the drum placements after playing them via midi keyboard, copying and pasting in places that sound similar to save time. But now, I've discovered the quantize button, and man does it work miracles, lol. I can just play through, hit he quantize button, adjust volumes, and call it good. Putting in drum fills is much easier now. It's audible in Bend (2014), and House of Glass.
Feather did actually sing an octave higher for that effect, but maybe I mixed it too low to notice. Unless you meant that it should have a stereo effect on the octave. That's understandable, and yeah, it'd probably make it sound better.

On the point of the solo guitar, something about it sounds perfect, I have a bit of an inkling that giving slightly too little of the best stuff makes you crave it more, and I know i crave it, a lot.

I know time is an adventure and all but why is time being an ass me to like literally i joined the fandom five months ago and i heard the show is ending next year and my patience is not helping because i mastered it for no damn reason so time is moving faster for no apparent reason so in conclusion time just hates me
